This is a unique addition to Mass ave. The poke bowl structure is very straight forward and gives you the option to be completely vegan if you wanted to be. The establishment was very well thought out and organized and offers an entire bubble tea menu! (Indy was in dire need of this). It's a great place for a quick healthy bite to eat or to chill with your friends and play games (Jenga & uno are available) I got the Thai tea and the almond tea and both lived up to how I would expect them to taste, super good! I'll be returning for sure. read more

This is an unexpected surprise. This place is cool. I really liked my Moar Salad. It was so fresh, clean and beautiful to look at and even more wonderful to eat. There are an abundance of options for greens, proteins, toppings and condiments. The amount of possibilities if mathematically mind boggling. The space is well organized with seating available in private wooden booth and on stools along the long wooden bar facing Massachusetts Avenue. I rather enjoyed the meticulously cut pieces of mushroom, white onion, beets, tofu among the fresh spinach leafs and purple sliced cabbage. The ponzu gave a wonderful punch of citrus and saltiness. The proteins of shrimp and shredded (imitation) crab were so fresh. read more

I love bubble tea and was so excited when I saw someone post about this place on Instagram. Absolutely didn't disappoint! They have dairy free tea options too that are delicious- I got the strawberry milk one with tapioca bubbles. The food also comes in a large serving so come hungry! I loved the table setup with phone chargers and janga. Nice find on Mass Ave and will absolutely be back! read more

MFP. My Favorite Place. Right down the street from me. Very convenient pick up order. They're fast, good and very polite. I don't order from here enough. I love getting the sushi burrito. Boba!!! I am so excited to havea boba/ poke place downtown! Situated in the heart of Mass Ave, the atmosphere is friendly and clean and perfect for studying or hanging with friends. This is great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. I've been here a handful of times now, a few to eat in, and some to-go as well. There is a pick-your-own bowl style or they offer sushi burritos. I've had the zucchini noodles, salad and rice - all great. There are a lot of protein options so if you're not in the mood for raw tuna per se you can load up on grilled chicken or another cooked protein. I do with they offered some pre-made bowl suggestions as I tend to end up getting a similar bowl every time. A TON of choice of teas also - they offer a scale for the sweetness (sugar level) which is a huge plus for those of us that aren't big sugar-drink people! read more

Menu has a great variety of flavors and teas, my personal favorite is the taro root milk tea! I didn't really think the poke here was anything special. Their spicy tuna is ground up and served as a mash, rather than tuna chunks, and it lacked flavor. It didn't really taste like anything at all to me. The bubble tea was pretty good, though and the portions are generous and priced very affordably. read more

Ordered almond milk tea w/ bubbles at 30%. Good almond flavor, sweeter than expected even at 30%, but minimal tea flavor. Looked and tasted almost just like boba milk! Ok - so this is one of those reviews that you write because you should but you kind of don't want other people to know about this gem.... I have only been here twice but it is my favorite place to stop as I head home from work when I want something healthy and I want to spend UNDER $10. Definitely the best boba in town. They have so many options for flavors and toppings. I also like that they give you the option to do less sweetener if you're not looking for a super sugary drink. The people here are always quick and nice, and when I happen to be passing by while I walk my dog, they don't mind if I bring him in while I wait for my drink. pretty decent bubble tea - the service was ok; drinks were made pretty quickly; but the reason for 3/5 stars is that the pearls are hard and difficult to chew. not sure if the boba was just old or if it was under cooked but it was not satisfactory. i had to strain out the boba and just drink the tea. also when i asked questions about the menu the cashier did not seem to know much at all about the menu. they did not know the base tea for the strawberry milk tea and said it was just milk. i'd say the jasmine milk tea is 4/5 nothing special. the mango green tea was so sweet even at 50% it tasted like sugar. lychee smoothie was more like a slushee & tasted very artificial but if u like that it's perfect. taro milk tea was just average read more

This maybe a small detail, but the fact that they mix together all the toppings you chose in the bowl makes it one of my favorite places for poke. The staff is courteous and quick and the place is clean with great ambient lighting. The prices are relatively cheaper than the other poke places in the area and the food tastes fresh. I have to say this place surprised me. The poke is actually really really fresh and very very tasty. I got the rice bowl with 2 proteins (shrimp and spicy salmon). I then got to chose my choice of sauces and veggies. My bowl came out super colorful and photogenic. They also serve bubble tea but it was just okay to me. However the place is VERY cute and have casual board games for hangout groups. read more

Every time I come downtown for a lunch meeting, I always suggest this place. The poke bowls are delicious. The ordering is super easy and convenient. I always have enough to eat and plenty more for leftovers. The restaurant is great for casual meetings. Highly recommend! read more

My friend brought my here to finally try Poke (I've been pregnant and couldn't eat raw fish) and I loved it! The amount of food you get for the money is amazing and they have no limit on the amount of vegetables! I got the bowl with rice, tuna & chicken (in case I wasn't a fan of the raw fish), but the next time I'm opting for tuna and salmon. It was delicious and I can't wait for warmer weather so I am able to walk there from work. Definitely give them a try if you're nearby! read more

By the time I remembered, I had already finished most of the chicken and drank over half of my matcha milk tea! On my first visit, I tried the taro milk tea and loved it. This time, I ordered a matcha milk tea with bubbles at 30% sugar, along with a pineapple mojito (non-alcoholic) with crystal pearls. The matcha was smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. The 30% sugar level was perfect for letting the matcha flavor shine. The pineapple mojito was refreshing, light, and sparkling. It was also my first experience trying crystal pearls. My initial reaction was that I didn't like them because they're smaller and firmer than traditional boba pearls. They almost reminded me of boba that wasn't cooked quite long enough. But the more I drank, the more I appreciated them. In a cold, sparkling drink, they actually work really well. The pearls add a little surprise after each sip and give you something to chew, making the drink last longer and feel more interactive. Now for the star of the show: the Korean fried chicken. As someone who is mostly pescatarian, I've been wanting to try Korean fried chicken for a while, and this was a great introduction. I ordered the 10-piece wings with sauces on the side, choosing Soy Garlic and Secret Spicy. The wings were huge, meaty, and incredibly crispy. But how can you hate on a grocery store that exists in Indianapolis with such an abundance of food from all around the world? Overall, I am so glad this place is here. I visited Saraga not knowing what I was looking for, but was quickly drawn to the Japanese snacks aisle. I saw lots of different flavors of Ramune (that Japanese marble soda), which is my children's favorite, and Pocky, my favorite. Then I went to the seafood aisle and looked at the fish swimming in the aquarium below their unlucky brethren who had been filleted and arranged in the display case. Then I walked to the Mexican food aisle and saw many kinds of Mexican candy. The frozen food aisle had lots of different things, from Indian samosas to Korean vegetable pancakes. The meat aisle is hardcore. But, that's to be expected at an international grocery store. Be prepared to see pig snouts and chicken feet packaged next to less offensive, ambiguous red hunks of meat. This is the place to get bulk rice and beans, imported snacks and produce that you can't find anywhere else, like yuca root and plantains. I love Saraga in general, and this one is good and important to this part of Indy.

It was delicious! You can add an egg or chicken or salmon, but I don't think it needs any of those. If I had to do it all again, I'd ask for light dressing, because they were a little heavy-handed with the dressing on this salad. Isn't that always the way?! Restaurants need to cool it with the dressing, in my opinion. To be honest, the booze situation at Rize is a little anemic, but I don't think Rize is really the place to order anything alcoholic beyond a mimosa or bloody Mary. I got a screwdriver: freshly squeezed orange juice and vodka, and I'm still wondering where the vodka went. It did not visit my screwdriver, I tell you what. The seating inside Rize feels like it's at a premium, because depending on when you visit, there is very little of it. When I visited, almost every table was occupied, and the place was echoing with conversation. I chose to sit outside, which I'd recommend, if you can! It's so nice to sit and eat a good meal outdoors. How many times do we get to eat outdoors in Indiana? Just go outside, if you can.

One tip... coffee is $5, but so is cold brew or a cappuccino. They may not be bottomless, but we both upgraded from the drip coffee for the same price.

A group project of mine needed to explore Mass Ave. and check out some of the local spots in the area. One of the girls in my group had mentioned Moar Tea & Poke so we stopped in for a smoothie and to asses what needed to be done for our project. Immediately I loved the feel when we walked in. The environment was welcoming and relaxing. The poke bowls looked amazing, but instead I went with a strawberry smoothie. The service was fast and it was amazing! It wasn't a typical smoothie that you can get anywhere, nice and refreshing. For a Monday night there was a lot of people in the restaurant. This really added to the overall vibe of the place. One of the girls in my group said that she loved to go there and study/play games with friends, similar to a coffee shop feel. I am looking forward to going back and trying new items on the menu. The location was perfect for a spot like this. Mass Ave. has great opportunities to gain more attention and I think a business like this is definitely necessary. I walked into Moar Tea & Poke and immediately impressed with how aesthetically pleasing it inside; all of the tables and chairs were made from stained wood and decorated with leaves and vines. Placed on each of the tables were menus and pencils, which indicated that we had to fill out our order ourselves and make our way up to the register. I ordered poke rice bowl with zucchini noodles, My bowl had a good amount of spinach, shrimp, avocado, cucumber, and onions, topped off with cilantro and fried onion. Moar Tea & Poke also specialized in bubble tea which includes the flavors of green tea, black tea, aloe vera or even milk and sugar with boba balls. The food came out in a very timely manner, under 10 minutes. I knew I was going to enjoy the rest of the food. I would definitely recommend Moar Tea & Poke to any of my friends who are wanting to go out and experience a poke bowl or bubble tea for the first time. If you're close to this location the bubble tea is fairly good. My experience there was the staff seemed to be pleasant. I ordered the mango green apple tea, almond milk tea and with boba. The order was accurate when asked for how much ice and sugar. I did seem to notice that the boba amount didn't seem as much when compared if I went to some boba places.
