I have been meaning to try this place out for a while. I ordered the Yoda Bowl and it was really good! I was really glad they had gluten-free granola because not very many places offer it. I got the medium size and it was pretty filling. You basically order at the counter, and they have a few seats if you want to eat while there. The folks who work here are super friendly and they are able to whip up orders really quickly. The only downside is parking because there are tons of restaurants that share the same lot. If I have had a long weekend full of binge eating anything ranging from steaks, to burgers, to seafood, I immediately try to relinquish my guilt by getting a salad the next day. Today I went with a different option and opted for the Dragonbowl Z at Moberi. It was completely different than what I thought it would be, and tasted completely refreshing. It was basically lots of granola with a blended liquid/smoothie, topped with fresh fruit and goji berries. I'm not sure what the sugar content is in one of these things due to the amount of fruit used but it definitely made me feel healthier...laugh. The atmosphere was great, filled with bikes that let you blend your own drinks and cute little potted plants. A great place to go if you and your friends want to feel like you're doing something right in food selection for once. The price is relatively high for what it is, $7.25 for a small or $9.25 for a large. But I think it's a decent price to pay to feel better about myself. I only come here when I'm on the campus of Portland State University. It's such a cute hidden spot. When I first found it, i wasn't able to stop it because i had to go to class but made sure i would stop by when i had time. I eventually came in on a day where it was kind of cold but wanted to try them out. Their acai bowls are so delicious, the Moberi one is my favorite! There is even a bike in the place for you to have to option of blending your own smoothies! The place is super friendly and clean. It's pretty small but there's a couple tables and stools to sit at to hang out. The employees never make you feel rushed, even when you're staring at the menu for 15 minutes (i can be very indecisive) and they'll even try to help you get the acai bowl you want. I would give this place a 3.5-4 stars. The service was extremely slow, they had three workers but each of my friends' orders came out so slowly. That's not really why i would give them less than 5 stars, though, I got the pitaya base and it was pretty tart when I was expecting it to be on the sweet side. This would have been fine if they had put a normal amount of honey on top but there was next to none. I also ordered a medium, and instead of getting five toppings I just chose the three fruits, but they didn't even add more fruit to fulfill the 5 topping quantity. ...5 blueberries..pretty sad. The fruit is also cut in really thick pieces which is not my preference at all. There was way too much granola, taking up half the bowl, and gluten free granola costs a dollar more which is very silly. read more

Moberi is probably the best acai bowl spot I've had in Portland and outside of Hawaii. The uncles Jesse comes with an acai blend, granola, blueberries, strawberries and shredded coconut. The uncle Jesse is my usual order when I stop by. The other items offered like peanut butter cacao smoothies and any of the bowls are perfect for a healthy and filling mid-day snack. Everything is plant based and the prices aren't that high in comparison to similar eateries. The staff is quick and helpful and the service is always smooth, unless there's a huge line you don't have to worry about not having enough time to get a snack for class. read more
