I love that this place is more than just smoothies. The bowls and protein waffles are worth the hype and I have yet to try the juice and parfaits. I'm sure those are just as delicious as I have yet to order something that isn't. This can be an expensive habit to start BUT they do give you reward points. They have an app to order pickup with ease, make customizations to your order and track rewards. My go to waffle is the jam slam. They seem tiny but they are very filling. I highly recommend the blueberry almond butter smoothie and pink flamingo! I loved the açaí mango bowl but man that blue vanilla cashew drizzle on the radiant raspberry bowl is something to try. So far I've only done pickup orders with my coworkers and the items have survived the 10 min drive and aren't watery or soupy by the time I get to enjoy them. Worse tamperproofing ever lol. I dont think that's how tamper proofing works. Spoon fully exposed, lid easily opened regardless of the sticker. If you're that busy, since the food was late, throw it in a bag and lock with with a sticker. Anyone could have spit in my bowl or worst yet rub whatever on the spoon. I really love their combinations for the juices and bowls, but I've been coming back to get my favorite so far, Popeye's Acai (Acai, banana, blueberry, spinach, housemade cashew milk, and agave nectar). My husband splits the Health Nut with my toddler. Both are delicious! Some great smoothies you can't find at other places--Pineapple Matcha and Elderberry. YUM! The first time I went here I got an Açaí PB bowl. When I realized the banana was unripe and inedible the lady kindly replaced it with blueberries. I want to start by saying I've been going back and forth between giving 2 or 3 stars and here is why: I ordered a three day cleanse and I called to tell them I needed to pick it up the following day instead, they said that is fine, great! When I went to the store the following day they said they couldn't fulfill the order because they didn't get their full shipment, I understand, out of their control. But why wasn't I notified so that I didn't drive all the way there? The lady working that day was so sweet to give us two bowls due to the inconvenience and the lack of communication. Nekter is delicious, that's never the issue and she was so sweet. But she said she would have her manager issue me a refund. 2 days later still no refund and I had to call personally. Manager apologized which I appreciate and she issued the refund. For these reasons I have a two star instead because I feel they dropped the ball on the refund and not proactively calling me to tell me they couldn't fulfill the order. The bowls and smoothies are great, staff is nice, I just don't think they know how to resolve issues very well. read more

Tried the Pink Flamingo for lunch today. It was delicious, although it took forever to get my order because it was lunch time so there were several people ahead of me in line (which I pretty much expected would be the case). Plus the two girls at the front stood there and debated with the guy working the register for nearly 10 mins on which drink they each wanted. I mean, seriously? If you haven't made up your mind by the time you make it all the way up to the counter and there is a long line behind you, kindly step to the side and let some other people go ahead and place their orders until you've finally made your decision so that the line keeps moving and doesn't bottleneck due to your indecisiveness. Fortunately I wasn't in a huge rush, but the other people in line looked like they were, and it was seriously all I could do not to speak up and say something to both of them. But maybe that's just the Southern sassiness in me coming out ;) Anyways, overall I'd still rank it a 4-star experience (inconsiderate/oblivious counter hogs aside), and I will likely be back again at some point in the future... I went in to pick up an order that I placed online and they were super slammed busy with only one young kid working. The kid told me that it would be a while before my order would be ready, so I ended up being late for work. Just to clarify, it wasn't this poor kid's fault. But why do they only have one person working the whole juice bar by himself!!? There was lots of upset people waiting for their orders. I have to admit -- I'm a bit of an açaí bowl snob. I'm difficult. I know it. I travel a lot for work and try them everywhere I go. I'm normally pretty disappointed--and then I stumbled into Nekter one day. I love this place. The people that work there are friendly. The quality of the juices and smoothies are great -- and it hands down has one of the best açaí bowls I've ever eaten. I also appreciate the consistency. Good size and always fresh. Yum! One criticism i have is that the ratio of açaí to fruit and granola seems a little off to me. A lot of açaí and not a lot of stuff. I split my granola and put 1/2 on the bottom and that works great. I really do love this place and because I've gone to many other Nekters, I know how great their service can be. I've gone a few times to this one and while they always seem to be out of a few things, their service has always made up for it. today they were out of quite a bit, and usually they offer to compensate for it by adding more fruit or something. today was not that day. it was the saddest bowl i've ever had and the toppings were nonexistent. the bowl was not filled, and it was disheartening paying $13 for the complete opposite of what you'd expect. read more

I'll start by saying the Nekter Product is top notch - spending the money for the product is well worth it. What I will say is the customer service at the Lake Oswego is sub par at best. I ordered online 30 minutes in advance and when I came into the the location to pick up my order I was ignored, I understand they were busy, but the second another customer came in they were greeted and ordered pulled from fridge. Definitely download the phone app for specials and additional promos. The drinks are really refreshing and unique. It's a treat to visit. The dragon fruit smoothie is a summer time favorite. Only down fall is that the app sometimes doesn't work in the store which is a frustrating situation since that's the reason to get it. There is a pocket of space where wifi or plan LTE data seem to miss the phone connection. I've been in there trying to show them their coupon and it disappears. I love Nekter! Their quality and prices are hard to beat, you'd be hard pressed to find a 16 oz juice for $7 anywhere else in the Portland area. I am sad to see negative reviews of this place, especially in regard to customer service. The employees are putting themselves at risk to serve us smoothies during a public health crisis, I'd love to see a little more empathy here! It's always quite loud in there due to the fact that it's a smoothie/juice bar, perhaps it's a little hard to hear their greetings. I've always received quality customer service here. Customer service is a little strange right now (I am a service worker as well), and while the employee's smiles are covered by masks I know they are smiling under there :-) Their service is also plenty fast. I understand that this is not a fast food restaurant, and quality takes time. At Nekter they use whole, fresh ingredients and they put it all together in real time. I really really loved this place when it first opened! But it became very apparent to me that consistency was not something Nekter has figured out yet! I always order the same smoothie, but every time it's different. Either an ingredient is missing, or I have to take the smoothie home and re-blend it so that I can use a straw to drink it! The search for a good acai bowl led me to Lake Oswego. The shopping center that Nekter is in looks like one that a gym / self care loving person could live in. There was a barre studio, cycling, spa, and a tanning salon among other things. Nekter really found where their demographic is likely to go and set up shop. There is VERY limited seating inside which makes it hard to sit and enjoy your bowl. Getting it to go isn't really a great option unless you live really close by. One of the key components for me was the option to add nut butter. The nuttier, the better! They did have this option (for a fee) and I enjoyed my bowl. My husband added peanut butter to his and i must say that the serving size for the price was disappointing. Peanut butter is not that expensive...he also didn't love that the granola appeared to contain rice krispies - he called it visual filler. It was a good bowl for me. Not the best I've had but far from the worst. I'm not sure it's worth braving that parking lot again...3 stars. read more

I love having a juice bar near my office! I mostly get the greenie and it is great! Ordering online is super easy. I will say their smoothies struggle to pack any sort of flavor so beware of that! Have always loved their juices, bowls and smoothies! Usually I order through the app and pick up at the store which is awesome for when you're short on time. So today I stopped in at the end of my run hopping I could pay through the app, I also wanted to use one of my 'coupons' or saved up points. My bad... i could do both in one transaction.( I need to set up my Apple Pay!) But a very sweet gentleman gave me a free smoothie.
