The person who served me was also super nice--I took a while deciding what I wanted to add, asked questions about certain ingredients, and added a bunch of random stuff (like pickles with sweet potatoes) and got no judgement haha! Whenever I visit Portland, I'll always try to grab a meal here. Also, last time I came, I ordered a BYO wrap and refrigerated it so I could eat it the next day. We grab lunch from here about once a month. They have an online ordering system that makes it so easy to just repeat your order, which is handy because I've got mine dialed in. This is basically a build your own salad or wrap bar. You can really go crazy! They have tons of options and the dressings are all so good. I love that they ask how heavily you want your salad dressed, the answer is pretty heavy for me. Your salad also comes with a slice of focaccia, which is always a plus - we love carbs. I get the Cobb Your Enthusiasm, but make some modifications, I add spinach, carrots, white cheddar, fire roasted corn, pickles (OMG the pickles, where do they get these?), croutons, sunflower seeds, and top it all off with peppercorn ranch. It's perfect for me. I've had some other salads that I've built off of and they are all good. I love that you can really customize it to fit your taste. My daughter recently got one of their wraps and while at first I found it pricey, the thing was huge and weighed a ton. I appreciate that they have something for everyone. I was craving a salad with a ton of protein, so I stumbled upon this place as an option. There aren't too many places like this around (that I know of), so we were happy to find it. I ordered El Sombrero with chimi chicken and steak. Plus a ton of customizable options. My bowl was huge! My partner was jealous at how large it was. I had enough for two complete meals. He got a BYOB with chimi chicken.... I don't know what he did, but it wasn't as massive as mine. Haha. But still very tasty. I did have a lot of salad in mine so that was probably the bulk of it. We ordered from Evergreens through Door Dash one night before my kid's surgery when I was trying to bump up our nutrition. My child had an enormous $21 salad that I did not get a picture of, it had everything but the kitchen sink in it and apparently it was alright. Kid used our home dressing because the Evergreen dressing was "weird". Salads are still very hard on me since colon surgery, so I got a $17 "warm bowl" with quinoa, steak, avocado, cucumbers, roasted cauliflower, romaine, cheddar cheese, and roasted sweet potatoes. I chose a yuzu sauce which I should have gotten on the side as it saturated the quinoa and was just too much. I would get it again without the dressing probably. I ordered a tiny caramel pecan cookie that was overpriced. It was just ok. I'd skip that. Their menu pictures/past in-store pictures showed much larger cookies and we were gonna share it. Lame. If you like a really good salad or bowl (I've not tried their wrap...) run don't walk to Evergreens! It's a little pricey, like everything is now, but you get a salad that has pretty much anything you can imagine on it! Same with the bowl! I have consistently come here for the past 6 months about every week or every other week and one thing that is always true is the service, cleanliness, and food are really great. Anytime I walk in I am welcomed, it is clear how and where to order. I rarely have a wait time over 5 min. The manager seems to be willing to help his team. The team seems to be willing to help each other. My typical experience is the work week lunch between 12:30-1:30. Today (Mothers Day) I came in (again, not a typical day for me) and the line was really long. Again, I was welcomed and communicated that the wait time would be a little longer then typical. Even with the longer wait time, I could still see hands being washed, gloves being changed, food being turned over (first in first out), and when mistakes would happen the team helped each other. With such calmness of the staff the customers waited and chatted. Kudos to working under pressure and rocking it! They have great options for all dietary types and willing to help! read more

Love this place! Evergreens has several varieties of salads, wraps and grain bowls to choose from or you can design your own. Think Subway and Chipolte but substitute healthy greens, grains, proteins and many topping and dressing choices. Everything is fresh and delicious! Evergreens has definitely figured out a way to make healthy salads cravable!!! No longer a regulated to a side, but a full, satisfying meal! Having arrived five minutes before they closed (6:00 pm,) I didn't have time to create my own bowl without keeping the staff there past hours, so chose the Mango Your Way and the El Sombrero. With each salad bowl I did some customization. We all have our unique preferences; Evergreens knows this and allows you to add, delete and change however you want. Yes!!! The Mango Your Way was my standout favorite. With a base of quino, baby greens and romain lettuce, the addition of black beans, scallions, jicama, roasted corn, diced jalapeño, pepita seeds and cheese it was so hearty and filling. The mango dressing had the sweet and spicy flavor combo that I love. This salad, while looked normal in its take out bowl, was huge! Enough for two completely filling dinners. Seriously. It may be a seasonal item and if so, I implore you, Evergreens, to put it on the permanent menu! The El Sombrero was also very good. This salad had a base of romaine with grape tomatoes, corn, diced jalapeño, black beans, white cheddar and avocado (which I opted to remove.) It was topped with tortilla chips giving it a much needed crunch! While I did enjoy this combo, if I order again I will choose baby greens rather than romaine, and add brown rice, just a personal choice. Since I make bowls all of the time at home, and even serve for guests with a DIY approach, Evergreens speaks to me! They do all of the slicing and dicing so I don't have to! If I want a bowl just for myself, I have to buy so many different ingredients and since the items are fresh, they go bad before I can consume them. This is why I am so happy to have discovered Evergreens! Thank you, Yelp! The staff were all wonderful. Friendly, patient, and seemed genuinely happy to be working there! Loved everything about this place - just wish they were open past 6pm. For me this is dinner, not lunch! I'm hoping that business will pick up and they will extend their hours, at least until 7pm. Located in the Cedar Hills shopping center, where I run errands often, the location is very convenient. While you can't eat inside, there are a few tables out on the sidewalk if you prefer to eat there. Devoured the salads so quickly that I forgot to take pics! Evergreens remains a fan favorite! Admittedly, paying for a deluxe salad can be a bit painful, but Evergreens does it by bowl size. You can add as many ingredients as you want, and they don't add more cost by weight - some premium ingredients cost more, but overall it will stay as advertised. I ordered the Cobb Your Enthusiasm (great pun names by the way, love that!) with a few substitutions. Ingredients are fresh, online ordering is straight forward! Evergreens really knows how to make a salad into a truly satisfying meal! The Super Bowl with Avocado added was amazing. I really liked watching them hand toss the salad with whatever choice of dressing I wanted. They packed it into a densely packed take-out bowl, which looked small, but it really wasn't. My son got a El Sombrero Wrap. He said it was the best salad wrap that he's ever had. We really liked the Agave Lemonade. It was smooth and paired with the salad and wrap well. Then there was the fresh baked cookies. We had a Lemon Coconut and a Triple Chocolate. Even though they were wrapped for this pandemic, they tasted perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. I trusted this place with nutrition data. I was thinking that this was a clean eating establishment. Now, the employee was able to read off the ingredients from the bag that is it shipped in. The added garbage in the meats is awful. The other prepared foods are far from fresh and clean. The company has told me that the nutrition facts are correct on the website. NOT TRUE! It was my first time going to an Evergreens...ever! lol. I got a coupon and they were so nice, friendly, and welcoming. The server helped me out the entire time. For those who don't know (like myself), this place is kinda like MODs pizza where you pick your toppings but of course, there are lots of healthy foods. There are lots of toppings that are not very common and they have it, too. I just picked what sounded good to me and the server gladly helped me scoop it all. At the end, my bowl of salad was completely stuffed haha as I didn't know what it would look like. They were nice and incredibly friendly. Good service and without the coupon, it's still a good deal for a bowl of salad with all kinds of toppings (meat would be additional but still reasonable, I believe). P.S. They were playing interesting music like very pop like and then I realized it was JPOP because I listened to Blue Bird by Ikimono Gakari as I was finishing up my order.
