SCAM ALERT Went in for a routine oil change and a tire rotation. They offered to check my brakes and I agreed. The mechanic was very certain my breaks were 3mm-4mm and recommended I change them. I didn't accept the quote for $1300 (which is extremely high) and went on my way. Took it to a dealership to have checked my brakes and they are at 10mm on all sides. Go anywhere but here with your vehicle. Store manager Devon stated they would not cover damage costs because we didn't want to bring it back to them for more negligence. Will be pursing legally. It's his shop so he is responsible for his employees' work. As usual, this guy is the reason why mechanics gat such a bad wrap. .... 2. Last people to touch my transmission and found out today that they never put a transmission filter back in.... 3. $5,082 it will cost me to fix my truck. Do not go there. All they want is your money and a high number of bodies through the doors to make money. 4. Turns out there was too much water in my coolant fluid, and it froze SOLID when the temperatures dropped. My car would not turn on without shutting down and it was a nightmare. We got my car towed once the snow thawed, and the team at jiffy lube went above and beyond to solve the problem. They stayed past hours to make sure I got my car back the same day. After two visits, they still can't reset the "regular maintenance" alert. As annoying as that is, they've now somehow found a way to trip my "Coolant Low" alert. They topped up the coolant, which was nice of them, but the alert is still on. So now I have to drive to tLynwood - which isn't exactly near. That's a lot of time/lost earning potential for me just to fix a completely unnecessary problem. If I knew I was going to have to go to Lynwood anyway, I'd have done that in the first place and saved $100. read more

Had my oil changed and my fuel filter changed, oil change went well, but the fuel filter didn't go very well. They removed my old one and managed to break a wire off on the bottom of my fuel filter, they replaced it after three different people worked on it. I left the shop and went home, woke up this morning and my truck wouldn't start without cranking it over allot, had to go online to see what could be the problem. It turns out that if the fuel filter wasn't installed correctly and bled properly it would be the cause of it not starting. Now I have to go back to the same uneducated folks that work on it and hope that it can get fixed. I sat there for almost 2 hours while they worked on it the first time. I could go on and on about the madness I witnessed, but I think I have gotten my point out. read more

Went in for a leak check two weeks ago after noticing recurring puddles of oil in my garage after I went in for an oil change a few weeks before. I honestly just drive to town and back so it was concerning me. But they said it was just normal leakage because of the age and they said that the oil was full with no leaks. Checked it myself today because my car has been sounding like poop for the past week and it's completely out of oil. This happened back in January to me at the same jiffy lube before I drove back to school. I had to delay my 8hr trip to have them do a leak check. Just for them to say that they just didn't clean it properly. Which is clearly not the issue here, but that doesn't great either. They have very poor service too. I was given a coupon for a free oil change because the first leak stained my garage. And when my brother and I took my car over they gave us crap/ an attitude when we went to redeem it. Going to a mechanic next week to make sure that my engine isn't messed up after not having any oil in it for who knows how long. I would give them negative stars if I could. This place did my oil change and tire rotation. On 1 tire just put 2 nuts. I just noticed after 1 week of driving.

Yesterday I went to this location for an oil change... I ended up waiting for almost two hours because they lost the cap... They said I couldn't get a new cap for up to two days. As they moved the car back, the oil cap that took 1.5 hours for them to try and find before I said I had to leave, took me 15 seconds to find. The manager slammed the door on my car and then spun around the corner to return my vehicle. It was then as he returned my keys that he asked to buy me a beer. I declined and informed him that would not be in good taste as my husband was mad it took more than 20 minutes, let alone 1.5 hours. That sort of unprofessionalism, after already wasting 2 hours is incredibly unsettling. I don't come to a business intending to spend 115 dollars to be solicited for a beer. read more

Bought my 2016 F250 in for an oil change. Technicians did thier usual checking filters and fluid levels. Unfortunately they did not disconnect wiring when they checked air filter...damaged the wiring harness which began a cascade effect. Long story short, they damaged the Mas Airflow sensor which destroyed my O2 sensors, catalytic converters and cost me over $4000 in repairs. Spoke with thier Regional manager who is a perfect example of why middle management types are really better used as organ donors. The lack of response from everyone at Jiffy Lube is unbelievable. Do yourselves a favor. Use your dealership for scheduled maintenance...the level of skill you get at Jiffy Lube is proportional to money spent on thier employees. read more

We took our Toyota in for a lube job today at the Oak Harbor WA store and was very impressed with the service. Got us in and out in no time. Later we were at the grocery store and we noticed the driver side floor mat had a big boot oil stain on it. We drove back to Jiffy Lube and showed them the mat. Justin, the store manager, jumped right on it. He cleaned it, rinsed it and put it back in our car in just a few minutes and apologized for our inconvenience. No problem for us... I'm finding that to be just as true about "chain" businesses, such as Jiffy Lube and Office Max (see that review, following!). Went for a sadly overdue oil change when in the "big town" on Whidbey (uh, that's Oak Harbor!), and had such a great experience there, it'll make me feel happy to go back for a top-off or two. Alex, a brand-new employee, was especially helpful - and very, very honest! I told him that, financially speaking, it would be challenging to do some of the things my sweet Subaru was longing for - and clearly deserving! He told me candidly that even the air filter could wait until the next go-round. I felt safe, trusting. Nice feeling. Nice guy. Sorry to say as we were very happy with our oil change here but I do not recommend getting your headlights buffed. We were told by one of their own employees that they buffed the inside and outside of the headlights for $75. However, when we went to get it done they only did the outside of the headlights and when I called the manager she said they have never done the inside. I find that very troubling and a lot of money for just the outside. Unfortunately I will be taking all my family's cars elsewhere in the future. Very disappointing. read more

This is my first time here and Adam was the first one to approach my vehicle. From there the serivce was great. They showed me my options and showed me the report of all test that was ran including my filters. They kept me updated so I didnt feel forgotten. I chose the Jiffy Lube Signature, since I didn't feel like vacuuming my car myself. I stand by my original review but I always give props to businesses who contact people who have poor experiences, for that I am adding back a star, despite the sales pitch, the grease mark on the seat, and the wasted gas. I wasn't overcharged, but I hate my gas being wasted and the grease mark is just shoddy work. Here is the other thing. We are just trying to let you know about the manufacturer's recommendations and all that jazz is BS. If you were really trying to inform us give us a sheet with all that info and then tell us what really needs to be done (aka what you would do on your car). You lose all credibility when you try and get me to pay to have the air filters changed when we both know they are just fine and only need the leaf parts vacuumed out. In the quest for the quick filter buck now I can't trust any real recommendations that you might have that are actually important. The upselling disguised as information only makes customers stop really listening and makes it so we don't know what is puff and what is real and matters. Thus we, to avoid wasting money on stuff that isn't needed also miss out on the stuff that is because there is so much junk in the spiel that we can't or won't distinguish. Original Review: Typical jiffy jube. I hate the perpetual sales pitch. You need this you need that you aren't following the manufacturers recommendations blah blah blah. They took a while to ring me up and left the car running for the 10 minutes that took - wasting my gas and polluting for nothing. Then it discovered a new grease stain on my seat. Failure.
