We ordered bacon egg and cheese on bagels ($3.50) and I seriously believe that it's better than if I went to Starbucks. The bagel was perfect. Slightly crusty on the outside. We also got potato wedges ($3.99) They had a nice assortment of hot and cold prepared sandwiches, baked items, healthy snacks like cheeses, protein bars, pastries, and lots of other stuff. The aisles are stacked with snacks, drinks, candy, and necessities. Located just off the highway (I- 95) on Rt 32 it is easy off and easy on to get in and out quickly. There are no left turns out of here but you can brave a U-turn at the light if you are headed North towards Salem or I-395. They have freshly packed sandwiches, salads, coffee, and pastries to go. I was hoping to see some of the legendary fountain drinks but it looks like this location doesn't have those... yet? The staff was very nice and offered help more than once as I snapped some great shots of their selection in the aisles. The edges of the sandwich were almost devoid of turkey. The food selection is your basic convenience-store offerings: a few sandwiches, burritos, chips, candy, soda, and coffee. The attendant was friendly, and the store was clean. While I can't recommend the turkey sandwiches, we were glad that Henny Penny was so convenient. If there hadn't been hanky-panky with the turkey sandwiches, I would have given them four stars. To be fair, though, that's the first sandwich I have ever bought at a convenience store. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they make fresh bagel and roll breakfast sandwiches with egg, bacon, sausage, cheese varieties. The sandwich I purchased was freshly made; warm and toasty. Even through the sandwiches were packaged, they are made fresh on their griddle so they use real eggs, bacon, and sausage rather than any microwaved ingredients. It was a good quick stop.
