GAS STARTS @ $6.99 a gallon! My heart aches as I write this review because i remember how much I spent to fill my car up to half a tank (around &47.99 for an SUV). I was not very happy, but hey it's one of the few gas stations near the port and I was trying to get to Little Italy quickly. The stations are very tight, if you have someone in front of you, odds are you'll have to wait as someone is likely behind you too. Interestingly, I had two people waiting for me, one in front and one behind me. I had a girl waiting in front of me for my gas pump as her pump only had diesel available and this was her first time driving a vehicle that runs on gas! I had to explain to her which pump was gas and which was diesel, she was friendly but it held up the line. Next, I had some really pervy-looking guy in his car behind me. This man was yelling at his buddy who was working the car wash, they really needed to tone it down! Amongst the busy atmosphere, at least you can admire the ocean with a quick glance. That was nice! This is my regular gas station. And while they have the lowest prices in the immediate area, fully 8 of 10 times the receipt does NOT come out of the gas pump! So, the hassle of going into the cashiers booth and waiting on line to get a receipt continues despite repeated requests for them to remedy the situation. read more

This is our local Mobil station, it's a fine gas station and convenience store, but unclear why it doesn't work with the Exxon-Mobil app. You can enter your loyalty number at the pump so you don't miss out on loyalty program points, but for several months now, as of late August 2021, you can't use the app to pay or redeem points at this station. read more

I'm not terribly familiar with SD proper, but when I needed gasoline and I consulted the Yelp app, this was the closest and most convenient station that came up. It's right near the airport for you rental car folks, so it could be a good option if you miss one coming off the freeway. It was a Saturday morning and I fueled up. I paid waaaay more than I wanted to, but that's the price of convenience. Apparently they have a big car wash, but I opted not to get it. It's not a real shiny place, not real fancy, kinda pricey, but a mostly convenient (watch the enter only/exit only signs) place to fuel up. So dive in and get gassed and get back out to enjoy San Diego. There are certainly better things to do in this town than hang out at a gas station. read more

If you take the price of gas out of the equation here it's a pretty nice facility. The pumps are new and easy to use and they take credit card, which is more than I can say for some franchises...ahem... Arco. There's a full service drive thru car wash and a store with all sorts of cleaning supplies and accessories. You can really make this a one stop shop for all your auto needs if you want. They've also got a pretty large greeting card selection, which is kinda random, but I needed one for a friend last time I filled up so I'll throw 'em an extra star for that. read more

Carwash: The carwash here is just like any other automatic car wash place. It gets the job done but does not do an immaculate job. The workers do hand dry it after your car has been washed and also quickly detail the interior. The pricing isn't bad (around $12 for basic interior and exterior cleaning). If it rains within 2 days after getting your car washed here you can bring it back for another FREE clean. Also, attached to every receipt is a coupon for a discount on your next wash. Gas Station: The prices for gas seem reasonable in comparison with surrounding gas stations (I haven't noticed a huge difference). The area can get congested especially during the day when the car wash is open. The gas lanes are designed for 3 cars in a lane at 1 time and the lane is one way so once you pull up to the pump you have to wait for the cars in front of you to leave. The problem happens when there is also a line for the carwash and then you get stuck in your gas lane- I've had to reverse out of there more than once- Thank God for the backup camera! I've pumped gas here late at night and the pump is open, but there are always sketchy people who hang out on the sidewalk in front of the store portion- Ladies may want to bring a "body guard" with you. read more

Your standard gas station. Gets pretty busy because of it's location and you can end up stuck between two cars at the pump if someone goes inside. Price was higher then other locations a few minutes away, but location to airport for rental return is probably why. read more

They don't have price tags for none of their chips, candy, or soda. They don't scan the items either they just put a price in that they want. Hella weird. I've never been to a gas station that didn't scan items and that made their own prices. read more

This is a lousy car wash. I hate shelling out 11.95 for a car wash which moves dirt v removes dirt. Whatever, I'm glad I went for the cheap option. The good news about this out of town car wash was my car didn't smell worse as my last venture to Encino caused. So, 2 stars v 1. I would not go back. read more

Meh, they did an okay job. The service was very friendly but I paid the extra $6 for their "Super" wash and it wasn't very super at all. They left a puddle of water in my middle console, didn't do a great job of wiping the inside of my car and did a very poor job of vacuuming. It doesn't even look like they vacuumed my backseat. It's a gas station. Not the cheapest gas, not the most expensive. The car wash is the real value here. For $10, you are hard pressed to find a better car wash deal close to downtown. They do a good job vacuuming, waxing, drying, all in about 10 minutes. They have a big store, which strangely enough has a huge greeting card rack. So when I need to get my car washed and need a birthday card, I can really kill two birds with one stone. We need to see more weird combo stores out there - something like a dentist with a sporting goods store. read more

This is my go to gas station before returning my rental at the SD airport. It is more pricey but worth it for the convenience. The other nit is that it is hard to merge back when you want to leave because of the location. Get out your best smile and hopefully a nice person will let you in. read more

Stopped by this gas station before going to the USS Midway. Conveniently located between the city and the airport for everyone who has a rental and needs to fill up last minute. Average services and nothing to rave about, but I have 3 complaints: 1. Lanes are marked with arrows. This makes it hard for people coming in from other directions and requires extra turns if the only machine open doesn't match your direction and gas tank side. 2. Half of the squeegees are missing. I'm trying to be efficient with my window cleaning but I can't do that if the closest squeegee is on the other side. 3. Cracked glass on one of the displays. Makes you think what went down there to make it happen. Hard to see and not very safe. read more

I come to this gas station all the time to purchase gas or use their carwash service and I was never treated this way. I wanted to clean my car or rather have someone else do it so I drove up to Body Beautiful car wash area and chose the $17 wash, vacuum and interior wiped down. Let me just say this was the worst car wash service I have ever used and I've used many. I waited outside in a sitting area where the guys line up cars to dry off and clean interior. There are a few chairs in the shade and a bench in the sun for you to wait for your car. My car was done rather quickly which I appreciated but I didn't appreciate what I saw. I looked in the car and noticed the seats were not vacuumed, the console and dashboard were not wiped down, nothing was wiped down and the back of the seats weren't either. I opened the trunk to see that wasn't vacuumed either. I called a guy over and asked him to use his cloth to wipe the water off the trunk area. He did. I than asked him to use a cloth to wipe the dashboard, the leather on the back of seats, the seats, etc. He did but very quickly and still missing most of it while I'm standing there. I realized these guys clearly did not care about their work or the way people's car looked. They simply do not care and it shows. Don't waste your money and go somewhere else. read more

Where do I start with this sorry excuse they call a gas station?! Store is closed on Sunday but you don't know this until you get to the door and see the hand written sign. Want a drink? Go to the opposite side where they have two machines imprisoned. Apparently vending machine related crimes are at an all time high huh? Let's get to the gas. Great prices yeah? It's so great that they don't want to give it out. The pump refuses to keep pumping. So you end up doing hand exercises with the handle. You know what's also cool? Let's put 3 pumps in a row in the most cramped area ever so that the middle cars have to wait for the car in front or behind to leave. Worst customer service ever!!!! I have been sitting in the parking lot with a flat tire waiting for a tow truck. Remind you in am in my business clothes on my way to work (not looking like a bum or scummy person) I politely as to use their restroom while I was waiting for the tow truck and they told me, "no, we have struck rules here and you can go across the street to use the park restrooms." Everything was very tongue in cheek, I didn't know what to do or what was going to happen next when I went here. I got the managers special with wax, and pretty much was handed the bill and walked away from. I read a sign far away saying to leave keys in the car, and if I wasn't scanning everything in sight I wouldn't have known that. I waited 1 hour 15 minutes approximately for my car to be done, and I was watching them slowly rubbing the car with a rag over and over like they were killing time. I think they got bored because the car was left still for about 15 minutes then driven into a parking space. The guy got out and looked surprised that I walked towards him. "Oh, this is yours?" I got in my car, and while it was well done mostly, my coin pocket in the lower dash was cleaned out, and I could tell every opening was opened to see what was inside. Luckily everything of value, aside from the 1 or 2 in change, was not left in the vehicle by me. I also saw my AC was on the lowest setting. My car was on most of the time (lights were on which only happens when it's on) so they were rubbing my Ac for most of that hour. Luckily it's a hybrid but still. I highly recommend not going here. I was returning a rental car at the San Diego airport and needed to fill up the gas tank. I read another Yelp review that gas was a lot CHEAPER at this gas station. The review was correct. I saved a bunch of $s. The only issue I had was that the gas pump hoses are short. Your gas cap has to be on the same side as the gas pump. Otherwise I would have given this station 4 stars. Btw, I had no problem getting a receipt from the gas pump. read more

Awesome full service car wash for only $10.99!?!? Yup! And we waited less than 10 minutes!

I went to fill up and wash my windows. The water was soapy so I tried the other scrubbers and they both had little rocks in them! I don't know if maybe they filled them with a hose that was sitting on asphalt or something! I asked the clerk how much the car wash was and he said it was closed. I explained to him what was happening and he just shrugged. I went back to try and keep getting the soap off of my car and after not much luck I went to ask him if he had cleaner. No. Just clean water? No. It's a bit of a hazard to have soap all over your front window. A nice gentlemen gave me a water bottle to try to get it off and it worked just enough. Meanwhile, another guy began to clean and the same thing happened. While a guy trying to use the diesel pump realized it wasn't working. Okay if your gas station has some wear and tear, but at least throw a sign up or try to help while you're in the office. read more
