Should review them twice - that's how many windshields they've replaced for me. Over two years ago, my Scion xA got the old rock chip that spread to a large crack. Quote from the dealership - $900 JUST FOR THE GLASS. With labor and installation, it would have run around $1500. So I lived with it for a year. Then I decided to sell the car. Called around, this place gave me the lowest quote by at least $100. And they were mobile - said they'd come to me and have it done in a few hours. More like 40 minutes! They came, changed it, and left... and I sold the car 2 weeks later, sorry I hadn't done it sooner. Fast forward to this week. My friend's had the same problem for awhile, but wasn't sure she could afford to fix it. Moreover, she let me borrow her car for 2 weeks while I'm visiting from out of town. I thought, why not? So I called up Mobile Auto Glass. They even asked what shade of glass I wanted, and when I wasn't sure, he asked the car color and matched it. They wanted to come out the same day, but I didn't have time. So we made an appointment for 9 am the next day. By 8:40 he was here, setting up. I'm gonna say I'm a fan of this business. In many ways, the technician did a TERRIFIC job. He didn't carelessly slice everything up in the path to the seals of the old windshield. He was polite/friendly. He was very talented and knew exactly what he was doing. He did a spot-on job lining up the new windshield and the fitment was PERFECT. I can only think of two things that could have been improved on during my experience. 1. They were late 50 minutes for the appointment (estimated 11am-12pm, but arrived at 12:50pm). 2. The tech accidentally scratched off a good amount of paint at each of the front strut towers. This happened when he was using his tool to remove some clips at the base of the windshield (anyone could have made this mistake, including myself). It's not a big deal really, I touched it up with some paint and it's in the engine bay anyway - but I must mention it because it's damage nonetheless. However, because I mention that, I must also mention that he did put up a valiant effort to be extremely cautious throughout the entire process. He was careful not to forcefully pry off plastic clips and tear at plastic covers. A+++ compared to all automotive technicians I've ever come across. I can't remember his name though." I checked a few places in the area for quotes and the lowest I got was these guys. They provided a quote with no pressure at all, so I called them back a couple days later. Unfortunately, they informed me they did not have the glass in stock and were unable to order it. Bummer. So I gave up and started calling the other places. About 30 minutes later, they called me back to say they had located it at another warehouse and could install same day. I let them know 1) I can only pay with credit card and 2) I had to have my glass installed and vehicle drivable no later than 3p. He agreed that would be no problem at all. The technician showed up about 2 hours early, which was fine because I was imprisoned at work all day anyway. The tech informed me it would be about 30-40 mins. I left my car with him and returned 40 mins later. He was finishing up the job and cleaning both the outside and inside of the windshield as well as my dash. They didn't charge me all the addon costs for molding or supplies either. Great experience and would do business again with them (although hopefully, I don't have to.) read more
