When I first heard about being able to have someone come to my house and infuse me with hydration and vitamins, I was sold and couldn't wait to book my first appt. With the air being so dry leading into the winter months, my skin was very dry, and I really needed something like this. I opted for the hydration package and Ken threw in the vitamin B at no charge which was awesome. The reasons I'm giving only 3 stars, are because a few hours after the treatment, I was just laying on my bed relaxing when suddenly I felt like I was going to pass out! I've felt this before while over exerting myself after a workout or, if I was sick but never while laying down relaxing. When Ken text me asking how I was doing, I told him about this and he never responded. Also, my arm started hurting around the area the IV was placed. I kept trying to figure out where I must have bumped it or injured it somehow because it felt like a bad bruise, but there was nothing visible to show that. It's been 5 days since the treatment and my arm is still sore. The only thing I can think that caused this is the IV. I'm wondering if maybe getting a full bag of fluids in approx 20 minutes has anything to do with it. It was a very fast drip, and while I was happy it was done so quickly, I think it should have been a slower drip. I'm not a doctor nor do I have any training in the medical field but, I have been a patient and had several IVs over the years. This has never happened. I will try this again because I'm certain the benefits can be great. But I won't be using this company. I think it was rushed and that's what caused the faintness, and pain in my arm. I wish I could give 5 stars because Ken was awesome, and I was thrilled to be able to get an appt so quickly. read more

We are trying to keep my grandma out of the hospital since she's 93 years old. She was diagnosed with COVID around 3 weeks ago and she's experiencing a lot of nausea so it's been difficult for her to keep down food and water. Calling Mobile IV Medics was the best decision I could have made for her. It allowed me to keep her hydrated without having the trouble of moving her to an urgent care or ER. I was able to speak to Danny and scheduled something the next day for her. The nurse, Wendy, was so sweet and helpful. She had great bedside manner and made sure my grandma was comfortable during her IV. She was also a pleasure to speak to and was able to provide some advice for care on my other family members who are also suffering from COVID. She felt like a Guardian Angel to me that day. She was timely and professional and always kept a positive and calm demeanor, even with crazy weather (the windiest of days from the Santa Ana winds) and having to carry all her equipment up a flight of stairs. Yesterday, I was in excruciating pain from what seems to be the Nora Virus passed to me from my kids. after throwing up all night, I was not able to keep down any fluids with intense abdominal pain. Really disappointed in the communication with this company. Called to schedule for my dad. Was told they could do a Monday at 11:30, I said that won't work as he is at work. Afternoons are better. They said 3, I said that will be great. I was told I was going to get a confirmation email which I never did, but I got at text at 9 pm saying confirming for 11:30? I said no it was for 3... basically got called a liar but that they "worked it out". I was also told I was recorded and they played the recording back. I am so positive the words that came out of my mouth I asked for a copy of this recording. Last I checked also, if I am being recorded don't you have to let me know? So the conversation kind of ended in me stating that I just never said 11:30, then I get a text at 5 AM the next morning!! Who in their professional right mind texts someone at 9 pm and then 5 am??? Honestly, they should have just left it at "sorry for the confusion, we got you set up for 3". There are plenty of places in the Thousand Oaks/Camarillo area that do drips (that also aren't $400) they typically are around $200 for Meyers. Such a great service, especially right now. My dr recommended IV hydration to help me re-hydrate while dealing with hyperemesis (extreme morning sickness). The only option my dr could find was going to the hospital but being pregnant that seemed like a high risk. I decided to go the private route and found mobile IV medics.
