So happy to see other Yelp reviewers are as happy as I am about this place. Dropped my 4S on the concrete and cracked my screen (OMG really!!??) Called and said it would take about 30 minutes for $75 with no appointment needed (DONE-sounds good to me!) I come back about 45 minutes later and my phone is still in pieces and I only knew it was my phone because my case was also there (Oh no). Miguel says he has tried three other screens and couldn't get it to work. I'm bummed because now I'm thinking I'm going to have to spend $100 for a replacement phone (not to mention going to the Apple store-joy!) I give him my work number in hopes he can work on it and call me with some good news. Less then two hours later, he calls with the best news ever. It's working and he will only charge me $70 because I had to come back (DONE-again sounds good to me! Better than $100 if not more). I would highly recommend this place! So very lucky I found this place. I dropped my employer issued HTC EVO and shattered the screen. My company wasn't going to pay the $499 replacement fee, but instead, was going to give my a used Blackberry they had on hand. There's no way I wanted to go back to a Blackberry after having the EVO and I thought all was lost. I'm on 25th Ave. all the time but never noticed this place until someone told me about it. Rob rocks. My iphone's power button was jammed and needed to be replaced. Yes, it was a design defect. Apple refused to fix it. They gave me two lousy options: replace the phone by signing a two year commitment or upgrading to a Iphone 5 for $179. I called around-the prices were insane. $65. i lost my iphone 4s over the weekend. my friend had a iphone 4s with a cracked front screen that he wasn't using, so i offered to get it fixed if he'd loan it to me. i did some looking online for places that would fix this and came across Mobile Kangaroo's page. read through the reviews and saw they had a $10 for $25off yelp deal. i bought the deal and headed over. the guys were real nice and told me it'd take about 30min. i left the broken iphone with them, went to at&t to get a new sim card, ate lunch, went back to Mobile Kangaroo, and the iPhone 4s was fixed and ready to go! gave them my yelp deal coupon and that was that. simple, easy, and great service. doesn't get better than that! i also have a pc that needs to be looked at and they offered to diagnose the problem for free. i'll definitely be back :) read more

I had a great experience with Mobil Kangaroo in San Mateo. Robert was super helpful and courteous over the phone and just as helpful in the store. I had just had a less than stellar experience at We Fix Macs with having my iPad screen replaced so great service, explanation, and results at Mobile Kangaroo were even more appreciated. My iPhone 5 screen was fixed immediately (quote of 20-30 minutes but I ended up leaving and coming back about an hour later) and so far it's perfect. Dropped off my iPhone 3G to get a new digitizer and my LCD screen was also not working. Robert fixed it in no time. In March 2013, while visiting my son in San Mateo, I brought my iPhone 4S here to get a screen replaced. The staff was great & I watched as they took apart my phone & replaced the screen right in front of me. Great service. But wait, there's more! Back home in Vermont in December my screen stopped working after the phone fell on the floor. The screen didn't crack, it just stopped working. The AT&T store told me it wasn't worth looking at & I should just buy a new phone. Instead I remembered where I got it fixed before. I mailed the phone to my son. He brought it to the store & in just a few minutes he walked out with a new screen & the phone working fine. NO CHARGE. They covered it under warranty. You guys are the best. read more

Came here to get my mom's iPhone 4s screen replaced, customer service was good, very friendly and helpful. The screen replacement cost $75 but with the $25 off coupon I bought on Yelp for $10, it only cost me $50 + tax! This is the best place for IPhone repairs. The nicest guy, and seems to have a true concern for your dilemma. He already replace a broken IPhone screen, then a month later I dropped my phone again and it went black. I stopped there with panic in my voice. He said don't worry, just wait a minute and I can help you. And that he did. In 30 seconds had the phone apart, connected a loose wire and I was off.
