They were so flexible and kept us organized throughout the ups and downs of planning a wedding during the Pandemic! There were regular calls with Jibu the whole 1-1.5 year of planning, which was great to make sure we were on track. Our plans had to be modified and changed up until the week of the wedding, but they were both level headed and tried to keep us on track throughout the whole process. The morning of Jibu was with my husband while Sherin started off with me, which made them very accessible. Since our wedding reception was in our parent's backyard, we had multiple vendors coming at different times to set up the day of so it was great to have them both around to make sure everything went smoothly. They helped to make sure our backyard wedding didn't feel like a backyard. Also, they were both in charge of the timeline so this really allowed our families to take a breath and know that our wedding was in good hands! We were searching for someone religious yet tolerant who loves what they do and does it for the right reasons. Someone who would tailor the ceremony to be traditional yet our own, and who has personally been in a tried and true relationship. That was Pastor Mike. When we first came across his website, there was just something different about him. We watched the video and he seemed warm, personable, and kind. When I called him to ask a few questions and setup a meeting, he seemed truly excited to meet us. The gentle yet professional demeanor we'd first noticed continued throughout our phone conversation, and we were hopeful it would continue into our in person meeting as well. When we arrived at our first meeting, we had the pleasure of also meeting his wife who was heading out to do some shopping as we chatted. She came along for the ride as it was a bit of a drive from their home to our meeting spot in Chicago. This was fun for us as it served as a bit of an icebreaker - she was also lovely. We sat down and right off the bat noticed how organized he was. He was ready with questions and the information we'd already covered had been filled in so no time was wasted. He recorded the entire meeting so he could re-listen to our conversation as he constructed our ceremony later on. He was meticulous about the details but wasn't afraid to just let us talk. We laughed and joked and by the end of it we couldn't believe how fast time had flown. It was FUN and let me tell you, wedding planning is stressful! It was a good reminder of what it was all about. Pastor Mike also made the trip for our rehearsal to help organize everything to be sure we were ready for the next day. Throughout the process he was prompt in his replies whenever we reached out, his pricing was MORE than reasonable, was organized and sent drafts of the ceremony with updates if changes were made, asked if he was unsure about something, sent reminders and updates, was a calm and reassuring energy leading up to the day and the day of, the list goes on... There is a twinkle in his eye - he's lived life and been around the block a few times, and you can tell he is a happy man. He was unafraid to laugh or make suggestions but was respectful of who we are and what our vision was. With Pastor Mike, we really felt like we could be ourselves. We received many compliments about our service being unique and moving and there were many (happy) tears shed throughout by everyone in attendance. Though we invited him to both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception, he gracefully declined thanking us but saying he believed it was a time for us to be with family and friends. Class act. Alex Johnson is the reason it didn't go further than a quote, but then is upset when I review that? I never pretended, lied, nor implied that I booked this company. They shouldn't be upset or surprised that their customer service, communication, and lack of professionalism are scrutinized equally to their services. Reviews are public on Yelp. I will give one star reviews to any business that I'm unhappy with, just like this one. I've also given many 5 star, including for many of the businesses I ended up booking for my wedding.

However, the minute I saw the first piece of the floor being set up....I knew I made the right choice. This floor (and the uplighting) added a fun and unique aspect to our event. Our event WOULD NOT have been the same without this floor and the lighting. Lukas was a pleasure to work with and incredibly helpful. I like that you can adjust the settings on the floor as well (we didn't turn on the sound activation feature until our dance floor opened)....all with the simple push of a button. We were able to decorate and rehearse on a Friday. Have my wedding on Saturday and pick up everything and leave by Sunday. We rented out all 3 homes that are offered. The houses were beautiful and extremely homey. Had everything we needed. My family , bridal party and I were all able to get ready the day of the wedding. The photos are beautiful right by the pond. You can tell Concorde center takes great care of the land. I will say this venue would be best for weddings under 100-110 people max. It's the not biggest. We had 95 people and it was perfect with enough space for a dance floor and photobooth. A few downsides that could be worked on is you have to choose their preferred caterers. They give you only 3 options. First option never got back to me. I called and emailed them multiple times and never heard a word back. I would advise Concorde to take them completely off their list. Second place was pricey and out of our budget. The woman who owns it was very busy and seemed uninterested in our event. The last place I had no choice but to go with was 31 North. Which we were dissatisfied with their food. I also wish they would allow you to go into the homes a little earlier than 10 am. Considering it can take hours for a bridal party to get ready the day of. Other than that everything went very smoothly and I'm glad I choose this venue close to home.

I have to say the vendor list could be better- we ended up using The Caterist which was outside the vendor list without a fee. Overall a great location for a memorable wedding and flexible staff.
