Update: I decided to replace my screen myself and I learned that all of the internal screws are the wrong types of screws, and he stripped all the screw heads. Not only did I need to buy a replacement screen, I now need to buy replacement screws as well. I also noticed the sensor at the top of the screen was loose, which I assume is the reason for my screen randomly blacking out. Hopefully I can tighten it with the correct screws and avoid that issue... read more

Worst "Business Ever" this is my first review and I'm taking the time to warn everyone about his over prices on everything. I came in today to try to get my Verizon iPhone unlocked. Guy said it would $65 even though I had told him I'm a returning customer (third time) and that he has always charge me only $35. His response like always "who told you that" this guy gives you a price over the phone then when you show up in person he has the nerves to ask me "who told you that" come on I'm not stupid he is the only employee there and answers the phone. iPhone dropped on cement (no case), screen horribly cracked, googled iphone repair. Six places popped up, Mobile mart was the cheapest with availability to fix now. Stated it would take 30 minutes over the phone, but when I got there he was done in 20 minutes. I was even able to get a brand new Otter Box case for $15 plus tax. Thanks, Mobile Mart for your great response to my iPhone issue! It works better than ever (no dust, seal issues). Hopefully, I will not need to come again-- now that I have this fantastic case! So they said 15 minutes I decided to go to Asian delight check them out their food is really good . I got the call on my other phone they said it was ready I came in their another paper was waiting for me. I said ok . It was the recipe no refund no warranty ect. But they said the screen was high quality it will be like the regular iPhone screen . So I trusted them. THEY LIED!!!! 4 days later the display was getting really hot so I let it sit I came back to my phone and then the whole screen popped off. Cheep a** 7 dollar lcd display 50 bucks my a**. I went to them said you guys made my phone unusable they said no we check everything. Everything was good. I told them to explain this . They said you dropped it. This guy is a complete rip off!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR GAME SYSTEMS TO THIS PLACE. I had an Xbox 360 with a broken DVD drive and broken Power Button. I was desperate to get it fixed so I went based off of previous reviews here on yelp. The fee was $130.00 If he fixed my problems I DON'T KNOW! When I picked up my Xbox the first time, he had changed my case, and I was unable to check my system. I picked it up on a Friday, and didn't try to turn it on until Saturday night when my son returned home. When I called he said No problem come back I will fix it. I dropped it off he asked for a couple days. When I returned I picked it up again, on a Friday. Now when I get home we try and plug it up..RED RING OF DEATH. So I was not happy, When I contacted him at first he was willing to repair...but stating it was my fault for not checking the system when I left. (in other words he felt the Red Ring of death was a NEW problem) So I go back, he says I need a couple of days. I call 1 week later; he says He doesn't have to fix it to come pick it up...I wasn't happy we exchanged some bad words. I calmed down called him to try ONE MORE TIME to resolve this issue. He agreed but said it would take up to 30 days to get the part he needed. Feeling like I had no other choice I agreed. Finally after 1 month he still hadn't fix the problem. I told him I wanted a refund. He offered me $60 and my Xbox. I agreed. When I picked up my Xbox he asked I sign the settlement offer of $60. I NOTICED he has the Serial Number on the agreement. Because I never checked my Xbox for the s/n I had nothing to verify. I signed it so I could get PART of my money back. I found Twisted Consoles a REPUTABLE service. I took him my Xbox. He showed me two avatars that did not belong to me that were programmed to the Xbox I gave him. He then explained that Mobile Mart switched my Elite Xbox 360 for someones Broken one. The DVD drive was NOT NEW and was never replaced. THIS MOBILE MART ROBBED ME! ..Luckily Twisted Consoles only charged me $35.00 to fix the red ring and put the CORRECT case on my system. brought in my ps3 here for repair a while back. it would not power on (YLOD) and i had a game stuck in there which i told them right away. they told me it would take a few days to fix and it seemed like they knew exactly what they needed to do. ended up taking about 3 weeks to get back as the technician 'has it in oakland'.. i always had to call them for a status update and they never called me once. when they finally gave it back to me they said they couldnt fix it. so later when i got home, i figured why not take it apart to at least get my game back. i took it apart and my game was NOT there. later took it to a friend who actually was able to fix it. it powered on, but for some reason, it was not reading any discs... the blu ray lens was not working now... coincidence? i usually give places the benefit of the doubt but i feel totally scammed by this place. please dont keep them in business. read more
