    Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else. Took a phone for a new battery and screen. Prepaid in store for it and dropped it off. Told to come back at a particular time and there was a paper note on the door saying they are closed on Sundays until further notice and closed for the day. The man there never asked for an alternative number or that they closed at 3 when the door states 5 . When we showed to pick up the phone a little after three he claims he even went back and we never showed up. The only person you can complain to is the same person who was rude on drop off and pick up placing blame on everyone but him. This place is a scam, the screen we got back is damaged and was to not damage it more and he'll reorder one and have to bring the phone back to replace it yet again. Asked for a refund for the screen and was told to bring it back to get the original screen back on it. They deserve to have no stars. Very unprofessional and rude.

    First they took weeks to tell me the new screen for my laptop had been delivered(they forgot about me and I had to call them) Then when I finally took it in to get the screen replaced, after I paid hundreds of dollars to make my laptop look like new again...there's a little hair stuck under the screen where they put it back in and the speaker panel cover is PEELING OFF which it has never done before in the 3 years I've had this computer. And they must have banged up my Beats Audio speakers somehow because ever since I got it back my laptop can't do volume above 50% clearly anymore. All in all, it's impossible to find parking I paid hundreds of dollars it took them over a month and my laptop is actually worse off now than when I brought it in.

    Very fast and efficient phone repair. The service was excellent!! The guy who runs the place is very nice and will be straight up.

I stopped by the shop hoping for a quick assist. The owner who helped me (super nice and patient) jumped right in, got that screw out without any hassle, and made the whole process easy. He was genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to help me finish the job. It was such a positive experience exactly the kind of helpful, no-stress service that makes you want to support a local shop. He's a great person and clearly loves what he does. I'll definitely be back if I need anything electronics-related and will be recommending them to friends!

The…read moreemployee (who was a pleasant young man) working that day didn't know anything about an Apple laptop....so less that he had to look on REDDIT on HIS computer to find out how to look up much storage my laptop was using. He had no idea how to find it! Even after reading it he couldn't figure it out. I ended up finding it. I needed a new keyboard because many of my keys were sticking/broken from the laptop being dropped during moving. I picked up my laptop a week later, and unfortunately didn't test the keyboard in the store. I don't use it much and didn't test it right away. A couple weeks later when I used it, I noticed the keys were uneven and felt off. The lighted keyboard also didn't work (it worked when I dropped it off). I took it back in when Gordon was working (different guy than the one on Sunday). What a horrible, unprofessional and smartass employee!! WOW!!!!!! I've had have my own business for over 30 years.......I couldn't imagine treating a customer like he treated me. He insinuated and basically accused me of spilling something on my keyboard. Pressure on keys were still uneven and backlight on my keyboard didn't work. Whomever installed it obviously didn't reconnect.....so now I type with a dark keyboard at night. Yes, I became angry and was appalled at his narcissistic and accusatory attitude. Asked me what the "residue" was on my keyboard. I walked out with my computer so fast and so mad and insulted.......NOTHING WAS SPILLED ON MY COMPUTER, GORDON!! It was their shoddy work and incompetency to install a keyboard that still isn't right!! He was absolutely disgusting to deal with. What a horrible representation of this business. I did call the Austin stores to share the story. According to the Austin stores, they're not connected, but students at Texas State should be warned about the quality of the San Marcos store.

    This place is awful. I dropped off my laptop 3 months ago and they said they would pay me $50 for…read moreit, but when I went down to pick up my money, they "didn't have it." Then they were closed during business hours. Then the phone they give stopped working. Then, when I finally got ahold of someone, they promised to mail my money and call back with a tracking order. No call back. Ever. I've called to ask, beg, and complain about 10 times in the last 2 weeks, and finally got ahold of someone today. The manager said he'd personally drop off the money today, but I see no reason to believe that. If you want to get ripped off, go here. If you value your time and money, stay well away.

They said they would get through "testing" all the stuff to make sure it worked, and they would call me back. They first told me 3 days at most. After a week I called them, and Haley told me they were not done "processing" the paperwork. After 3 more days I emailed, and did not get a reply. I would call and they would give me the same story and promise to call me in 2 hours. They never called me back at all. They rarely answered or returned my emails. It took me 5 weeks to get a check for $620. When I cached the check it bounced and my bank took the money out of my account. Haley keeps promising to give me the money. Haley at one point blamed the problems on Clint the other owner. I was told Clint left the business one week, and that he was back the next. I was told that they simply forgot about the check or the money order they promised to pay, or that they were out of town. It is now 11.14.2011 and I am still out $620 + $12 return check fee. I have no choice at this point but to contact the Hays county district attorney and try to file criminal charges against them. Update: Today is 12.2.2011 and I still have not gotten paid by Bobcat Electronics. They have just signed a deal with someone else to provide financing and backing. I have turned them over to the San Marcos DA for writing hot checks. If they owe you money, you better go after them now before they blow all the new financing they just got. They do not deserve to be in business. Update: 12.16.11. "Haley Joe" also known as Christopher Michael Miska, DOB: 10/10/1979, has paid me in full via money order. I do not recommend that anyone do business with them. It has come to light that persons working there have an extensive criminal record for writing hot checks and other offenses. If you choose to do business with them, you do so at your own risk.

    I sent my 16 inch MacBook Pro to Rossman Repair Group in Mid December, 2025. My laptop had died,…read moreunable to reboot about a week after updating the OS. The Genius Bar at Apple told me it could not be repaired and I would need to replace the Logic Board for $850 or "just buy a new one." A local (Orange County) 3rd party repair shop, after having it for a week, told me it couldn't be repaired. I then went to Reddit for help and suggestions. There were several referrals to Rossmann Repair Group. I contacted them through their online contact form. They immediately messaged with a few more questions and then gave me the necessary details to send my device to them in Austin. I did so - of course, the holidays slowed things down a bit, but by the second week in January, I received word that my lap top had been successfully repaired, losing NONE of my data. Amazing! The cost? A mere $459 which includes shipping back (USPS) to me, signing at delivery. I did have go pay for shipping to get it to them. Totally worth it to me. To insure safe and speedy delivery, signing upon delivery, to them. I paid about $89 for UPS, not including double boxing and bubble wrap. So, in total, I paid $638, for shipping to, repair, shipping back. I didn't lose ANY of my data. I am sooo happy and thankful to Rossmann Repair Group. Thank you!!!

    I went in on a Friday midday in June. Was quickly greeted by a worker. I gave him a broken MacBook…read moreand he said it'll take 5-10 minutes for a free diagnosis. After about 5 minutes he came back stating the power rail was broken, but I did not proceed with the repair, as the cost of repair was more than the value of the laptop. The quote was half of Apple's quote and came with a guarantee if that I will not pay if they can't successfully fix it. This is miles better than the Apple store as they would make you wait over 15 minutes even though you had an appointment just for the "genius" to say you need to quote an $800 logic board replacement. Best of all there was a cool painting of Clinton the cat!
