I still don't know how I damaged my fifth wheel hitch and bent the king pin, but Alex took care of it all. I had Mobil RV repair, Chris, come out to fix the fridge on my Camper. He obviously didn't have a clue what he was doing and seemed completely lost trying to diagnose the electronics involved. I used Chris for a pre-purchased inspection. I'm sure he is good at RV repairs but inspections were challenging. If you're looking for someone professional with great customer service I would look elsewhere. He made me feel like he was doing me a major favor by being his customer, and that asking for due diligence was an abnormality. His tone was short and border line bullying. His inspection and paperwork was not complete. I asked for a refund and he went dark and never responded; not even an acknowledgment or consideration for partial refund. Chris showed up in a timely manner and got right to work on my electronic problem. This was a very difficult problem that even the manufacturer, Tiffin, couldn't help much. But Chris finally got my slide to work with a work around. He didn't charge as much as could have,he was here for almost 3 hours but only charged for one. I called Chris to see if he could come look at my travel trailers electrical system and he was able to come the very next day at 9:30 AM. He arrived promptly and got right to work. He was able to quickly diagnose the problems and made all of my repairs within one hour. He was very informative about what repairs he made and I was very grateful for his expertise. We bought the trailer a handful of weeks prior, and as it turns out it was not a good fit for our family. So we had to turn around and sell it right away. As luck would have it, things started not to work and it seemed like we would be stuck with it forever. However Chris gave it a full diagnostic review and gave it a clean bill of health after a few minor repairs and cleaning. He was extremely friendly and obviously knows his stuff. I will absolutely use him again in the future and will recommend him to all of my fellow travel trailer friends. His fee to come out is $75, which is actually considerably less than other mobile RV repair servicemen I had talked to. His hourly rate is $85 and I also found that to be extremely reasonable. We called Chris at Mobile RV Repair to fix a problem we had with a furnace and on-demand water heater. Chris came out promptly and spent some time diagnosing the problem. That's the good news. The bad news is that after diagnosing the problem and being told he would order parts, nothing. 6 days, 5 texts and 2 unanswered phone calls later he FINALLY replied to a text that the "new guy " in the warehouse didn't order the part. He told me to find somebody else as he's too busy to help us. So we have to spend another week boiling water for dishes and taking showers in the cold before we can get this fixed. We were having some problems with the water pressure in our travel trailer's kitchen faucet and didn't know if we needed to replace the faucet or not. As it turned out the problem resolved itself but Chris was very helpful in speaking to us on the phone and also coming to check everything out later. He checked several things for us which could have contributed to the issues we had and also checked out the battery charge and water pump. He made a suggestion regarding the functioning of the water pump which was correct and none of the dealers we'd talked to had ever mentioned it! I'm a newbie to the RV world, and Chris didn't make me feel unworthy for my business. We had a trip planned for the holidays and I wanted to be sure our trailer was in optimal condition to travel the roads and get us safely to our destinations. I told Chris my concerns and he knew what needed to be done and how to do it. Our brakes needed to be fully replaced (drums, shoes, and magnets) which made me feel good about the safety of towing. I also had Chris install a custom suspension kit in which he wasn't familiar with initially, but easily figured it out. Chris also serviced a leak we had in our grey water outlet, removed and re welded new stabilizing jacks, some minor electrical repairs in the battery compartment, replaced the water pump, serviced the refrigeration, and welded up a backup hitch assembly I wanted done. Last year Chris replaced my RV's AC unit a few days later I called Chris and we discussed the fact that the new AC was not cooling my RV...he complained about coming all the way back out to Valley Center (he mentioned that quite a few times). Chris said he would call the supplier and would get back. He never got back. This years (exactly 1 year later) a heat wave came around. I called Chris and said I would appreciate it if he would come out and look at my AC it's still not cooling the RV. He said, I moved to Arizona...can't help you. We argued responsibiliy and he finished with, I moved to Arizona, I'm not coming out to VC to check your AC. I told him I would hire someone else to check it but if it needs replacing, I would hold him responsible. My new AC guy found a, very obvious, 1 inch gap at the vent that should have been closed. The cold air was exiting the gap to the outside vent instead cooling the inside. I called to let him know and ask what size my AC is so that I can get a generator. He did not return my call. read more

I called 4 Mobile RV Repair Shops and after 2 Days, finally, somebody returned my Call. It was Chris and I was elated that I finally got a Reply from somebody. My AC and my Refrigerator were without Power, overnight, and I had no Idea what happened. And a Hot Weather spell was on the way ! I checked all Breakers and Fuses and could not find anything and was expecting the worse already. Now the good Part: Chris and I made an Appointment for the next Day early in the Morning and he was right on Time ! He came, checked out my Breakers and Fuses and actually found a bad Fuse (which I overlooked) - I did not expect the AC and Refrigerator relying on regular 110 Fuses, but 220 Breakers. He told me better ! So, his Job was finished after about 10 Minutes. I asked him, if he could look my AC Unit on the Roof and so he did and confirmed that I am ready for the Heat spell. I was so Happy, after 2 Day sweating and without a Fridge that I happily payed what he asked. Now the disappointing Part: with some distance, thinking about it. He charged me $170 for 25 Minutes. $75 for the Mobile Service (which is acceptable) but charging me $95 for putting in a Fuse and 20 Minutes of total Time being here - is disappointing. All he did was putting in a Fuse and stepped on my Roof to look at my AC Unit. He could have adjusted the Hourly Rate in Half. - I am not sure if I would call him again. If you charge for ONE Hour, you should work for ONE Hour and not pack up and leave after 25 Minutes. You could have done some more Maintenance Work ! read more

Our slideouts would not go out. After having a previous bad experience with a mobile rv person (who is not listed on yelp & no longer in business), we found Chris on Yelp. His business may be fairly new but his experience is not. He came out the next day, diagnosed the problem as being a faulty relay system and then fixed it quickly. He is very professional, courteous and reasonable. It appears that he can tackle just about any job related to an RV. It is so refreshing to meet someone of that caliber.
