Tim was out to our house the very next day, on time and with a small back up crew. Within an hour or so, he had our problem solved - turned out to be a failed circuit board and we were lucky that he had one available and on site, ready to switch out. Prior to the repairs he explained to me what was going on, what he was testing and what might need to be done. After they swapped out the circuit board, he showed me what he did, demonstrated the proper way to use a slide-out with a glitch in it, showed us the part he swapped out. He also did a complimentary roof inspection and told us that we could call him anytime, day or night, home or camping spot, and he would come out if we needed another repair down the road. Our payment went through Venmo and his prices are EXTREMELY reasonable, especially because of the quick turnaround. Then (yes, there is more) he sent us some instructional videos that we could use down the road. What impressed me the most was his friendliness, his courtesy and his kindness. The same goes for his staff, Ivan and... (forgive me... missed his name even though he told me but I blabbered away and forgot, didn't want to look inattentive by asking for it again. Was it... Vince?) But I can tell you, they were friendly and outgoing, which also speaks volumes for the company they work for. In today's climate where you ask for a quote and you never hear back, you leave a voice mail and you never hear back, or you finally hear back and the next available spot is 2 weeks away, having Tim and his crew come out the very next day reminded me of what actual customer service is. Tim saved our upcoming New Years Eve camping trip and he is going to be the one person that we call when we have any issues in the the future!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quick reply and their ability to help within days. And they worked on my trailer in my driveway. I didn't have to take it anywhere and drop it off. The owner Adam, clearly communicated his rates and provided a preliminary quote On the day of repairs, Adam arrived first, inspected the trailer, and ran out for parts. Shane arrived and got to work immediately. When Adam returned, he gave me a thorough tutorial on the important things to know and watch for the future. It was so detailed, I had to get my phone out to record it. Valuable information. Shane is a GREAT guy and spent the whole day diligently working. I was impressed by his easy demeanor, skill, and attention to detail. I will NOT hesitate to work with them again. It was a very pleasant experience. He very expertly traced every wire coming out of the alternator and a junction box and found the problem and corrected it. (Someone had hooked the alternator up to the house battery instead of the chassis battery!). He patiently explained everything to me and showed me the wires and where they all went. I went into the shop because my husband's car window had rolled all the way done. Due to some…read morewiring issue, it wouldn't roll back up. So, I went in there because they're the only shop that was open in Alpine, California. Bill the owner had advised me that to diagnose it alone is $115.00, then what ever the issue was.. they would go from there. About 45 minutes later, I was told that I needed to replace the glass window itself, it would have to be special order, and it would take a few days for it. First of all, I'm only in town for the weekend. How is that even possible, our resort will not valet it nor we can even park in the parking structure due to the window not closing... Just great! So, I spoke to the mechanic Chris, a very nice gentleman, who had explained everything in details. Also, he resolved this problem in the meantime. But, I would have to take care of it as soon as I get back home. I am forever GREATFUL for CHRIS, you are brought humanity back to my world. I thank you for your help. I would like to write up and share my personal experience working directly with Bob at Coachwerx…read morefor over 10 years. I've taken 3 of my vehicles to him over the years and received nothing but quality work, excellent communication, and amazing service every single time. In 2015 I took my black 2009 F150 to Bob for some dents in the door. This is when his shop was over in Lakeside/el cajon and he worked directly with my State Farm insurance, repaired it quickly and it looked brand new. He even fixed a few small dents in the rear fender that I didn't ask him to. More recently, last year (2025) I took my 5th wheel trailer to Bob, as the stickers on the front cap had been disintegrating and wouldn't come off, and they had ruined the paint. I asked him to remove the stickers and then repaint the front cap the original white color. His team did an excellent job, finishing the work quickly and it looked better than it did when brand new. Finally, I just recently (Jan 2026) took my 2016 F250 to Bob as I had accidentally backed into the hitch on my 5th wheel and put a dent in the tailgate. I brought it over for his team to look at, and they took the tailgate off and kept it to repair so I could keep my truck in the meantime. Within a week they had repaired it and asked me to come by so they could reinstall it and adjust everything. His team went above and beyond the already perfect repair to the metal and paint, and reassembled the handle, did some extra work to help me out with a tailgate soft close shock I had installed that had broken, and helped sort out some issues with my backup camera. In my experience working with Bob and Coachwerx for both vehicle and RV repair, as well as paying out of pocket and going through insurance, I have had nothing but great experiences and received excellent service. I would personally recommend this shop, and I'm happy to be a referral for anyone who is considering it.
