Our chair lift of 20 years had stopped working and we had called another repair company. That company came to the house, couldn't repair the chair, took it to their office, kept it there for 2 weeks, finally after half a dozen calls came back out and said they "fixed" the chair but it wouldn't work so they tried to replace it with the chair of another lift that we no longer use. Instead they broke pieces off that other chair so that it could not work either and, of course, had no replacement parts. I told them to leave. Teo came the day after he and I spoke on the phone, he was able to fix the chair within an hour including replacing the parts the others had broker and his charge was very reasonable. Teo is my hero. My lodge has an older Superglide 120 chair installed in what many have described as the steepest stairway they have ever been on. Over the last ten year I have called on Teo many times, during which he has practically rebuild our chair including a new circuit board,, armchair toggle switches, up/down switches, and even a new ignition switch. It was a very complicated process involving a city permit with all kinds of complications, and as I am four flights up all kind of electrical work had to be done too. I used the Acorn chair lifts provided by Teo for 4 years. My husband's failing health made it necessary to install two chair lifts. In a split level home we needed one to go the 9 steps upstairs and one to go the 5 steps to the downstairs. Teo measured in one day and brought out the stair lifts the week later. He installed them in about 2 or 3 hours. I asked for used seats to save a bit of money. These stair lifts worked to carry us, groceries and luggage in and out. Now that I am selling the house and moving out, Teo came back and removed the chair lifts and paid me $400 for them! They always worked well--the remote controls were sometimes flaky, but being as I never replaced the batteries that could have been the culprit. We called Mobility 4U around 1pm on a Saturday for repair on a acorn chair lift that was installed by acorn and Teo came out by 5pm that same day. This alone was impressive. When he got to the house he went to work immediately, replaced the battery with one he had in the truck, and repaired damage that I had actually caused by trying to fix the lift myself. He could have easily installed and charged us for the part that I broke, he had the part in his truck and showed it to me. Instead, he cleaned the unit up, applied a little adhesive and showed me how to reapply the adhesive if needed in the future. He also said that he could come back out and replace the part if it kept having problems. It's been 2 weeks and the lift is performing perfectly. For these reasons we give Teo a 5 star review. But I think it's worth mentioning that he only charged us for the trip fee and the battery, not for the labor or adhesive it took to repair the part I broke. read more

We were returning from living in Singapore with our daughter's wedding only weeks away and my 90 year old Mom planning to fly out for the wedding. Sanja and Teo were so helpful, came out early and measured and helped us find the perfect solution to get my mom upstairs even with her dementia.
