Excellent customer service, and products. They dropped off the 4 wheel scooter at our hotel lobby before we arrived, so we just had to pick it up as we checked in. I cannot say enough about Gino and his company. Rented a scooter for a week in San Diego and had zero problems. And his price is very fair and reasonable. Totally comfortable, worked as advertised and he even included a thing that allowed me to put my crutches on the back of the scooter so I could walk whenever I could. I was trying to rent a knee scooter for upcoming foot surgery from them and called on a Friday to see if I could come in and try one. Matt was out of town and said that I could come in on Monday and left at least 3 messages including my name and phone # and stated that I was beginning to panic because my surgery was that Wednesday , NO CALL BACK, I called on Tuesday and had to leave messages again and I have still not received a CALL BACK!!!!! read more

Have a had an excellent experience with this company. Payment, delivery, and customer service all 5 star. Rented a mobility scooter for a family trip and everything went swimmingly. Allowed my mom to enjoy a great vacation even though her personal scooter was not working. Have also used for scooter repair. Owner was honest and fair and definitely knew his way around a scooter. Got my mom's old, broken scooter up and running again even after we were told by another company that the entire motor needed to be replaced and it wasn't worth repairing. This company clearly cares about mobility and quality of life for individuals who rely on mobility devices to get around. Travelled over the Memorial Day weekend (six days) with my mother to San Diego to see my daughter, and then to the CA desert to see my brother and attend my nephew's graduation. Needed to have a wheelchair, but didn't really want to have to check one when flying. I found Mobility Source through a web search, and could not have been happier. So very helpful. I can't safe enough good about Gino and his staff. They were beyond helpful, courteous and professional. I called a week before leaving Missouri to San Diego and made arrangements over the phone. They had my scooter delivered to our hotel and it was waiting for us just to get there. The scooter was very clean, not beat up or trashed. His rates were the best I encountered over the phone and web. It saved me the hassle of bringing my scooter on the planes and back, so that in itself was worth its weight in gold. I never had any issues with the scooter, it was always ready to go when ever I was. The batteries held up very well for all day events. Great experience with this company! I have been using them for years when going to the Comic-Con in downtown San Diego. They've always been prompt, friendly, and reasonable. I don't know why prior reviewers were negative. Either they're competition or maybe mistaken on which company they called. I know in the past I've had to call multiple places, leave messages on voicemails, and lost track of who had the scooter I need or who had availability. At any rate, this is an honest review by someone who has used this company for at least 6 years, as recently as Sept, 2015, and I can recommend them without reservations. read more

Girlfriend sprained her ankle really bad the day before our three day trip to San Diego; once we arrived, we quickly scrambled to see if we could get a wheelchair rental. Never tried this before and didn't even know companies like this existed. Their office was open late and they worked with us to have a wheelchair delivered directly to our hotel. Price was very responsible and they offer free delivery and pick up. Glad, because one rental company wanted to charge us $50 for delivery and pick up. A 5 star hotel concierge in San Diego recommended Mobility Source to me for a scooter rental. The company delivered the scooter to the wrong hotel. I tried for 3 months to get a refund. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Mobility told BBB they couldn't find me in their records. I then asked the hotel concierge to call Mobility since she had recommended I use them. She made the call and I received my refund yesterday. When dealing with this company you should make sure you have some invoice from them to prove your claim. All I had was a credit card debit on my credit card account. Buyer Beware. read more

Rented a scooter for my 4 day trip in San Diego. Reached out to Geno last minute and he was very accommodating. Delivered it right to my Airbnb location. Everything went very smooth from delivery to payment. Mobility source has been one of the only rental places that carries Pride brand scooters (which is what I prefer) since I own a Pride scooter myself for the past 15yrs. Rented a scooter from Gino to navigate between Marriott Marquis, Convention Center, and Gas Lamp District as I walked this circuit numerous times during my 2-day stay last year & was so exhausted & miserable it really put a damper on my trip. Plus my family was always having to wait for me to catch up so It effected them as well. I'm so glad I made the decision to get a scooter this year as it made my trip so much more enjoyable! Excellent service and price. I had to have emergency surgery just prior to a preplanned trip to San Diego. The doctor said the only way he would let me go was if I traveled by wheelchair. Having no experience with renting a wheelchair, we called several places. Gino, at Mobility Source, was by far the most helpful. He offered to drop the chair at my hotel before we arrived and pick it up after we left. His quote was $100 less than anywhere else I called. The chair was there when we arrived, as promised. It was in excellent condition and got me to all my excursions. It folded easily and was easy to store on boats and trolleys. All in all, an EXCELLENT experience. read more
