I reached out to yelp for installation of a dog door. I knew there was some electrical that had to be moved and I wasn't comfortable doing that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Moca responded and they gave me an estimate and told me what they were going to do and issues that may come up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They showed up on time and told me there would be an increase in price before they started. They did the works quickly and cleaned up after themselves and were professional. Great work by them.

Once in a while, you meet super good contractors and Moca Electric is one of them. Carlos took care of our panel upgrade from permitting, installation, and inspection. He provided me with super competitive pricing. Through out the permitting and scheduling process he kept me well updated. On the day of installation, he came right on time and got to work right away. The panel upgrade and relocation took him and his buddy just one day and that's including a Ring doorbell installation as well. His work is clean and he is respectful of the property. They worked very hard hard and competed the job on the same day. During inspections, Carlos was present to answer any questions from the inspector (passed the first time, btw). All in all, I'm so happy I was able to work with Carlos and I look forward to reaching out to him for my future electrical work for my house. Thank you Carlos!!!

Moca Electric is awesome! Carlos is the best. So far they've done a couple of jobs for me. The first one was an easy one - putting up a light fixture in a stairwell. I could've done it myself, but was just to lazy to go to HD and get a multi-position ladder. Not only did they do a great job with this, they didn't blow it off as a too-easy to care about job. They went about it in a professional manner and it looked great when they were done! The second job was a little more involved. I bought an EV and needed a charger installed. Carlos and his helper again did an amazing job! So happy with their hard work and service!

No more HOT KITCHEN!!!! Do not know why I haven't did this years ago. Why because I found Carlos by chance. Beautiful work Fan right in the center of lights. Dump that stupid portable fan and electric cord always in my way. Cool down remotely before entering Kitchen. I did not ask for 2 gang switch and Carlos did it for me. It's so much nicer. Top notch he finished quick in 1hour 45 minutes excellent work. Very reasonable and fair price compare to some quote I had. Those Electricians are totally absurd with quoting 250% more than the actual labor price. They think we are idiots. Depend on the job my rule of thumb is parts total cost times 2. That is your labor labor cost plus or minus 12%. Save Carlos numbers for unknown coming project. Very ...very hard to fine a honest Electrician. By chance I found one!!!!!!!! Update 09-10-24: My favorite fan of the house!!!!!!!

What a breath of fresh air! Carlos was so easy to work with, his pricing was straightforward, amazing customer service, and completed everything exactly as expected. We recently moved to a new home and needed a Tesla wall charger installed as well as a few lights in the house installed into the prewired ceiling mounts. Carlos showed up on time and with a crew (amazing!). They were able to start the wall charger install and the lights install at the same time which was so convenient. The wall charger was straightforward, I didn't need anything special there. When it came to the lights, 2 of them had customizable lengths, and Carlos and his team were patient as my wife and I walked around as they held them up to make sure they would be installed to our desired heights. I've already started recommending Carlos to friends and family. I've had many vendors at our new home and he was one of only 2 that came in, handled the job, and had zero issues along the way!

I requested to have my old bathroom ceiling exhaust fan replaced. I bought a fan off of Amazon, and they were able to come within the next business day to install it. Carlos and his assistant installed it within an hour and a half. The installation went smooth, and they also cleaned up the area afterwards. The fan works great, it's so quiet! Overall, his price is great for the quality of work he provides. Carlos is very knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. I highly recommended him for all your electrical needs!

Once in a while, you meet super good contractors and Moca Electric is one of them. Carlos took care of our panel upgrade from permitting, installation, and inspection. Received a few quotes from electricians on Yelp. [[HIGHLIGHT]]His quote came quick so I called to set an appointment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We spoke and he said he would come Friday between 9-10am. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called the day before to verify and never heard back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He never showed up to appointment or returned any calls. He was saying he would do the job cheaper for cash like I'm sure lots do. So I told him sure thing to save a few dollars. Guy is unresponsive, unreliable and a crappy business man in my opinion. read more

Words cannot express how happy I was with Moca Electric, they're absolutely amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Carlos was super responsive and super informative.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They rewired my entire house, which had original wiring from the 1950s nothing was grounded, and our panel was so old when the electric company came prior to spot for the new panel the tech was perplexed by the old panel. Inspections and work were flawless first time around, their crew was respectful and hard working, they're tough to beat in my opinion. Their pricing is super competitive, and honestly I was hesitant to write this review because once the word is out, they might actually start charging what they're actually worth Lol. I do have some future projects to do, and I wouldn't dare use anyone else. read more

That literally was the fastest, most straightforward, and pain-free visit by any electrician I've ever dealt with. They already had the correct replacement electrical breakers in the truck, took literally 5 minutes to assess the problem, told me EXACTLY what was going on so I can understand it, fixed the problem and quoted me an absolutely reasonable price for parts and labor. I Zelled them the payment, and we now have power in the master bedroom! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, and this, I think, is almost as important, is how well they COMMUNICATE. Highly recommended!! I got bids from 6 different 5star Yelp reviewed electrical contractors in the area for: - a Tesla charger install - bringing the 200amp panel up to code (proper bracing, grounding, breaker replacement work, splitting out various items onto their own breakers, new wider conduit and flashing... and actually labelling with label maker vs. sharpie scribbles!) - replacing old wire and gear in the attic with new wire, to code. - installing 2 new outlets - installing a smart light switch Carlos was a pleasure to work with. He does high quality work, quickly and efficiently. His prices were very competitive, his client communication was on point (call and text, strong english), crew was professional and always on time (8am). Happy with our decision and will be calling him again for future projects. read more

I have over 16 years of experience as an electrician, working on projects ranging from large-scale construction developments to small residential remodels. My background includes wiring commercial buildings and custom homes from the ground up, as well as extensive experience in service calls, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. It's been more than a year since I got my EV charger installed, and I haven't noticed any problems since then. Price-wise, I feel it was pretty fair especially considering how they made everything so convenient. All in all, they did everything well. Double-check EVERYTHING works BEFORE they leave. We found a different outlet (not part of the…read moreoriginal problem) that didn't work, and when we contacted them a few hours after they had left, they told me that we would have to pay another full service fee for them to double-check their own work. Turns out a wire in the outlet they repaired wasn't reconnected so we lost current to the new separate outlet that was chained to the repaired one (luckily was able to find it and fix it myself). Pros: Quick response, good communication, pleasant interaction, repaired original problem. Cons: No warranty/guarantee of service, they didn't double check everything in the area they worked on before leaving (I should have too). When I found a problem after they left (even if it's the same day in the area that they were working on), I would have had to pay a full service fee again.

These guys did a great job on changing out some of our outdated sockets and changed out the ceiling fan/light in one of our bedrooms they even and put in a new switch and wiring in the bedroom.
