Let me clarify this is not for a one bedroom apartment, this is to move one literal bedroom of items from a roommate household to another roommate household so no common area items or large furniture like couches/dining tables etc. Frustrating I spent 30 minutes on the phone with them just to get an estimate that's nearly double my rent. So don't waste your time unless you're prepared to spend thousands of dollars. Would be one star, but I added a second star because the guy on the phone was very kind, and one extra star because this is about my dissatisfaction with a moving estimate, not the actual service. Again the employee who worked with me on the phone to provide my estimate was incredibly nice and helpful, I was just shocked to see the price they asked for.

Our move was sizeable 3bd apt in a house to a 2bd smaller townhouse. They disassembled, reassembled, and arranged furniture in the most effective configuration. They were real people who truly cared about the job they did. They also understood how stressful moving is. My move took 6 hours and they were moving the entire time. Within three days they packed up our entire apartment (3000 square feet), both small and large items, and presented us with a detailed list of what was in each of 50+ boxes, all of which were meticulously labeled and packed. If moving is a stressful event, these are the guys you want pulling into your driveway. HUGE smiles, greetings, friendly! All put me at ease immediately, and we began the process. Sam explained all the billing to me, and we headed into and around the house to tour all the furniture and boxes they were to load up and move away. From the first second (NOT an exaggeration), they dove in, and boxes were being moved in almost a seamless fashion. A bit over an hour later (maybe closer to an hour and a half), they were on their way. They arrived - again - all smiles, checking in with me: how was I doing? And we toured the new house and explained where everything would go. They hustled, delivering boxes and furniture to all the designated rooms. They asked questions if they were unsure. AND for me, probably one of the biggest, most helpful moments, we negotiated for them to assemble my youngest's bed. I could not have done it.
