Good coffee shop. Their specials can sometimes be way too sweet such as the strawberry mocha I tried a few days ago. But, I suppose some people like their coffee that sweet. The food is good as well, small selection brut yummy things. Service is always good c staff super nice. They have cute shirts and sweaters with their logo. Our favorite drink is the Firestarter coffee which has a little bit of honey and cayenne pepper. It's our go to usually. They have an espresso Negroni on their menu but in all the times I've been here they have never had the ingredients to make it. The brat kolache I had today was good, a little sweet from the bread, with a nice cheesy inside. Easy to eat. read more

I spend A LOT of time at Potawatomi Casino and have gotten snacks and lattes on numerous occasions there. The snacks and latte's are perfect! This is a counter service establishment, only. Many times I have had good to adequate service and responses to my orders. Other times, I have been disappointed. On occasion, the counter clerks act like taking an order was something they have to do unwillingly, and showed their contempt in various ways, including but not limited ignoring a greeting from me, talking to co-workers instead of providing service and making all of us wait in line while having a conversation. I have two product gripes. First, decaf drip coffee is not available here. One can order a decaf latte or espresso, but not just a cup of decaf coffee. (Hmmm?). My second product gripe is when I order bagels, I always ask for them to be toasted well done and/or "double toasted." I have yet to have a real toasted bagel here, though I have ordered them on at least five occasions. Additionally, though the bagel is cut in half, it is obvious that they do not toast the bagel while it is cut in half. Only the outside of the bagel halves are (very lightly) toasted. The glass enclosed pastry case looks very appetizing and everyone I have talked to that has eaten sweets/desert items have said they are excellent. That has also been my experience when I have eaten some cookies from here, as well. This 3-star rating can easily become a four or five star rating if management would make sure their customer service reps are aware that they are in "customer service" and to treat everyone of their customers with courtesy, attentiveness, and respect. read more

It has such a nice aesthetic and overall clean look you would think it wasn't in a casino. Honestly if they put doors/screens up I considered getting some work done here. Loved this coffee shop! It's tucked inside Potawatomi so unless you have plans to visit, it's not something to easily just come across. However, I'd probably make plans to return even just for a coffee/work sesh. The place is clean as ever. Very bright and open, looking out to the casino entry point on the second floor. Plenty of hustle and bustle and people watching. Also lots of seating in both booth-style and small couches. Oddly enough I wasn't there for coffee, but instead a quick bite to eat. To my surprise, they have a solid menu of sammies from english muffins and croissants to wraps and paninis. The Turkey Club Panini stuck out to me so I went for that and it was a good pick! Plentiful in the turkey, bacon, and melty smoked gouda cheese (YUM). Also loved the berry refresher drink. Cream City is a little cafe located within the Potawatomi Casino Hotel. Cream City offers coffee, tea, and non caffeine fruit spritzers. I ordered the blueberry spritzer and got a free mini muffin with it! Both were very good. The vanilla latte was made too sweet for me even after I added an additional espresso shot. I am not sure if it was due to the amount of vanilla syrup or if they just forgot my third shot. What I like the most about this shop is the boutique area. Normally I review a coffee place based on the coffee. However, the service was so poor here that I have to start with my appalling experience. First rule in customer service is that you greet your customer when they walk up to the register. With 4 employees and the manager standing there, I finally had one person tell me that someone would be with me. Once they acknowledged me, I couldn't feel that they were inconvenienced by my presence Second rule in customer service is that you tell the customer what additional charges would be prior to charging them. I asked for half and half in my coffee and apparently it was $1 extra due to labor cost. What?!? The coffee was good but there are better places to go with the same taste but much better customer service. Will I be back? Not unless they change their customer service quality 0 stars for the service, 3 stars for the coffee read more

Cream City Coffee is my go-to stop after a visit to the casino. I usually grab a slice of their banana or pumpkin bread, which never disappoints, but since it's spring, I decided to try the strawberry cheesecake Danish--and like everything else I've had here, it was absolutely delicious. Their coffees are also consistently flavorful and well-made. I've yet to try something I didn't enjoy. This place is definitely a hidden gem for sweet treats and great coffee! read more

Stopped by on a Saturday morning to enjoy coffee, a bite, and then do a little gambling. The coffee shop itself is squeaky clean and comfortable. There's both table and comfier seating options, The service is kind and efficient. I ordered their maple spiced latte. The espresso tasted bitter and low quality. There was no maple or spice flavor in the latte, which was overall ho-hum. My dining companion got their s'mores latte which did have a lovely s'mores flavor but still had the bitter espresso to contend with. For my breakfast, I got their spinach artichoke savory pastry. It was basically a white bun with a scoop of spinach artichoke dip added. It was blander than I expected. It was by no means bad, but just a solid ok. A bit of a swing and a miss for me but nice to have a coffee shop at the Potawatomi casino. read more
