I was in search for a cute little town with a coffee shop so I went to Greendale WI where I found this cafe. It was cute and clean in a nice location. There were tables outside where you could sit to sip your beverage! My coffee was the right temperature for me and very tasty ! It was a chocolate au lait which is chocolate coffee and steamed milk ! The scone was tasty but it would have tasted better if it was warmed a bit to take the edge off and it also would have given a fresher baked goods approach! My daughter liked her caramel latte also . Enjoy

Have been coming here for years as it transition through multiple owners. They serve great coffee and bakery.

I often work remotely from Broad Street Coffee when I'm waiting to pick my son up from school. This is a cute, quaint little coffee shop in the heart of downtown Greendale. During busy times it can be hard to find a seat. There's a fair number of regulars and coffee clutches. The employees do a great job of remembering and chatting with customers. Prices are quite reasonable. I typically order a mug of coffee with steamed soy and a muffin and it costs less than $4.50. The coffee is good. Pastries can be hit or miss. For example, I really like the muffins, but the scones can be rock hard. (I think they order their pastries from a company in Madison.) There's free wifi and you can sit outside on nice days. All and all, a great, locally-owned place to drop in or to hang out for a while.

Broad Street Coffee Company is a cute little coffee shop ideally situated amongst the nearby stores that cater to both locals and tourists. On a nice day there's seating outside that's always at a premium for those who want to read the paper, have a cup of coffee, and relax after walking the dog in the nearby park. The weekend mornings are the busiest as people stop here before they start their day. Although there are a few seats inside as well, on early mornings, or when the outside seating is full, it's hard to find a place to sit It's not the free wi-fi that has people coming in, though, it's the coffee. It's perfectly blended fair-trade coffee served by baristas who at least give the appearance of caring about the finished product. It's a local shop within walking distance of most of the small city of Greendale and hasn't lost that home-town feel.

Pretty cool little coffee shop. Has a very comfy vibe. Got my morning caffeine here one morning - a medium cup of their dark roast. They had all their Christmas decorations up - so the place felt very festive! They have a sign up in the coffee shop that states that "...in Historic Greendale, WI." I asked the lady at the counter what makes Greendale so historic? She gave me an interesting overview of the work that was done by the U.S. Federal Government during the Great Depression to provide jobs and housing to workers: http://www.greendale.org/our_community/historic_greendale/index.php Check 'em out if you are in the area!

Just a quick stop in today. Went to the farmers market and then grabbed a pumpkin spice latte to go. Pumpkin spice, mmmmm.

Turtle Latte, yummy pastry - all watched over by a cute lil deer!!

Found this little jewel thanks to yelp! After a doctor's appointment I really felt the need for something sweet! Yelp directed me here to the Historic Greenfield District a place I had never been to during the 1 year I have lived in Mke. The area is full of cute shops! I ordered a Turtle Latte (did I say I wanted something sweet?!). It was yum and not cloyingly sweet. Along with it I had an apple strudel - which was good. The assortment of cookies and pastries made it difficult to decide what I wanted! I brought home some excellent decorated Christmas cookies. The owner was in the process of putting up the decos and lights on the - Christmas music made me feel less of my bah humbug mood! I really enjoyed my time spent there and will def return!!

Coffee is now ubiquitous with daily life in America, which brings me to Qamaria Coffee. Hatem and Munif are two Yemeni entrepreneurs with a passion for Yemeni Coffee and the joint goal of wanting to share it with the world. They founded Qamaria Coffee in 2019 to accomplish this task and in January 2024, they opened a location near Milwaukee in Greenfield, WI. Qamaria offers a variety of dessert options, including a Chocolate Tres Leches, Pistachio Tres Leches, and Caramel Tres Leches cakes. I went with the caramel version, which is described by the cafe as "A decadent caramel treat inspired by tres leches cake, creamy, sweet, and irresistibly smooth". If you've never had Tres Leches Cake, it's a light sponge cake soaked in three types of milk (evaporated, condensed, and whole) that's popular in Latin America. The cake originated in Nicaragua during the 19th century, so on first glance it's not exactly a Yemeni dessert. Doing some research, Middle Eastern variations exist that feature cardamom or rose water and some Qamaria locations do have a Rose Tres Leches. It's fine that the Greenfield location did not have that variety as I honestly would have got the caramel version anyway. My slice was perfectly moist as there was plenty of milk soaked in, but not so much that it made a mess or compromised the structure of the cake. The bottom layer was soft and Tiramisu-like in texture, while the cream on top was rich and thick. Personally, I found the caramel flavor to be mild, but delicious. As it is served chilled, it paired nicely with a hot cup of coffee (which they have a plethora of options to choose from). Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews

The fans were going, the space was clean and the plants all around the cafe really help set the vibe. On top of a pretty wide selection of snacks and treats, they also sell a lot of really cute, Puerto Rican themed merchandise, from cups, to hoodies, painting, stickers, hats and more. The coffee flight was really good and I loved that they had so many sugar free options. We tried the empanadas, quesitos, and the avocado toast, which were all really good. The quesitos were super flaky and tasted yummy they just lacked some of the cream cheese filling that I love. The service was pretty good also. The staff was friendly and the space was very nice to spend a Saturday morning chillaxing. I got the Cubano Sandwich for my meal since I gravitate towards them anywhere they're available. There was plenty of ham and roast beef for a filling meal with nice thick slices of pickles for some added crunch. I love a pressed sandwich, and the compactness and crunch from toasting made it a very enjoyable! I love a tangy Cubano, but sadly didn't get much of a zing from the sauce and wish I got a nice hit of that. Overall a yummy sandwich! For my drink, I got an Iced Churro Latte. I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but this was a nice tasty drink. The dulce de leche added lots of sweetness, and cinnamon is always welcome in a drink! The lil churro bits were also fun and cute to finish it off. My lovely lady for her Avocado Toast as she gravitates towards those. The toast was toasted and I think this is the first time we've had a well-seasoned mash that doesn't need extra salt+pepper? Awesome! There was lots of bacon which was yummy for me, but maybe a bit too much for the average joe. Pretty solid avocado toast! M'lady got a Café con Leche for her drink. Hmmm a pretty nice and deep latte, but we're no connoisseurs, so not too much to say on it... still a nice cup of joe to start the day. We also got a Quesito to share since I am a big fan of cheese rolls. This roll was ok compared to ones I've had in the past, but those may have been different variations as well. I thought the syrup on-top was an interesting take from the sugar crystals I am used to. I also found that this roll did not have much of a cheese filling. A nice flaky pastry with lots of cream was what I was expecting, but I found the inside to be almost dry, or at least I didn't see much after I took a bite. A lovely place to start the day with fun drinks and yummy food! They also had some additional apparel items for sale and I think lil specialty markets like that are always awesome and a great way to introduce others into other cultures with specialty snacks and trinkets like that. I wish some of the items fit more into what I was expecting, but still very yummy. I would love to come back to try their other food options since ours were pretty good, and I'd also love to try their other pastry items as well! Still a happy visit and I am looking forward to next time.

Mismatched chairs and tables from the 70s, maybe older based on the prints. I feel like I'm the only one in here today that remembers seeing and using a LOT of this stuff when was younger! It's definitely unique and fun. There's a lot of little seating areas as well, like tiny conversation pits near the entrance. One in front of a fireplace looked particularly cozy. I noticed a couple shelves with items for sale, likely from local small businesses. It can get really loud in here, which is to be expected with the high ceiling and large open area. Unfortunately that also means it can be difficult to have a conversation with people at your table. I chose to visit for lunch since I was in the mood for something light and new to me. What I did not expect was to leave still hungry. I ordered the equivalent of a caprese sandwich, however the tomato slices were so thin, the cheese sparse, and the pesto was almost nonexistent - if not for the green stain on the bread, I'd have thought they forgot to even add it. Definitely not a sandwich worthy of the $13 price tag. No complaints on the drinks. I wouldn't mind stopping in again sometime for coffee, but if you're hungry for more than a bakery case item, you may wish to go elsewhere.
