My daughter and I both have celiac disease and have to eat gluten-free, so finding gluten-free donuts this good is extremely rare. They were soft, fresh, and full of flavor we loved every bite! I am not sure if it was the mixture. It was very disappointing. Also, theres a PIF fee, I am new to the area, so I didn't know what it was. Other places let you know that theres that charge, maybe there was a sign and I didn't see, but if I didn't ask for my receipt I wouldn't know. Dont really like the hidden fees. Overall, box of 3 donut was $9 which was a good price for mochi donuts and the drink was $7 which I found a little expensive. Would love to give this place another try!

I stopped in on a Saturday morning and bought a couple of treats for a friend with celiac and couldn't resist getting a black forest cupcake for myself to try too. I appreciated the conversation with the owner- she assured me that their baked goods are safe for people with celiac disease, because she said all of the people working there also have celiac disease! They have strict procedures they follow for everything they bring into their shop. Their website is great. They are open Thursday-Monday and closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. They are located in the back corner of the strip mall on Dublin and Union (I think where the pretzel place used to be). My friend inhaled the black forest cupcake I bought for her and was SO excited to have something yummy and safe for her to eat. I loved my cupcake too- wow- perfect flavors and texture. I look forward to trying more of their pastries soon. They have donuts, cinnamon rolls, scones, tarts, muffins, cupcakes and cakes, bread and even have fancy French pastries that are gluten free, and what they offer rotates each day and week. While it was busier than I usually find the place, it wasn't an unmanageable crowd, however the workers seemed to be very backed up. At one point a worker stopped preparing orders completely to walk another employee through something. I understand training is important but it seemed like something that could have waited until the rush was over. All the same I do not mind waiting a little longer for quality product. I'd rather have it good and correct than fast. Therein lies the second issue. The product was rushed as well and not decorated to look as intended, which I feel is part of the crumbl experience. You want a pretty looking cookie. I ordered two of the cotton candy cookies. It was not a pretty swirl of pink and white, it was pretty much just white, not too bad if the flavor is there. I would have liked more candy sprinkles as I found out later through seeing other reviews, that might be the only bit that possibly gave an essence of cotton candy. I thought, as the last customer more time could have been taken to properly decorate the cookie. I had already waited 20 min and the rush was over. You'd think at least the presentation would have been better thought about. Again, I thought if it still tastes like a cotton candy cookie I'm going to be happy, then the last disappointment came when I bit into not a single hint of cotton candy flavor. It was the basic sugar cookie, which is a good cookie. Great bake, great frosting flavor, great frosting to cookie ratio. Honestly a solid cookie had I not been expecting it to be a cotton candy flavored cookie. I try to give grace where grace is due and I understand rushes, but a little more organization from the workers and a little less panic might have helped things run smoother this day.
