Happy Hour Donuts is such an amazing donut shop! I've been following them on Instagram for about 2 years, so I was SO excited to finally try their donuts and coffee. Coming from SoCal, we have a lot of really good donut shops, so I'll admit... I'm a bit of a donut snob lol. I can definitely tell when oil is old, donuts aren't fresh, or when the texture of raised and cake donuts is off. Everything here was seriously so good. I got the breakfast flight, and it was AMAZING. The banana coffee was delicious, and I honestly didn't expect to love the everything bagel donut as much as I did! I also tried a few other donuts, and the lavender donut was the bomb.com -- perfectly balanced floral and sweet without being overpowering. The pretzel chocolate donut was incredible too. Not only was the food amazing, but the shop itself is so cute and has such a welcoming vibe. You can really tell how much love and care goes into everything. This adorable little couple-run donut shop is absolutely worth all the Instagram hype. I almost fan-girled and told them I'd been following them forever on IG lol, but didn't want to come off weird I'll probably be making another stop there on Wednesday before heading back to SoCal! read more

Was happy (pun intended) to finally try this place! I had went a couple times and ran into long lines and didn't want to wait! I finally decided to preorder for Father's Day weekend and was not disappointed! Donuts were so soft and fluffy! Unique flavors like capri sun and strawberry guava! I was in town for a work event (from Denver), and as soon as it was over, I raced to Happy Hour Donuts. They still had a few donuts left around 11:30pm, and I was SO happy, because I've been seeing them all over my social media. And I see that they frequently sell out. The owners were so kind, and made me the most delicious apple crisp latte-- highly recommend! I got the donuts to go, and ate one in the car-- I'm so glad I stopped, because it was delicious! Worth waking up early for! Happy Hour Donuts has officially ruined all other donut shops for me, these are easily the best donuts in town. I had the Oreo donut and it was out of this world phenomenal. You can also tell a lot about a donut shop by their classics, and their OG glazed is absolutely top tier. Beyond the amazing food, the shop itself is so cute and spotlessly clean. The customer service was the cherry on top; the two workers there were so sweet, welcoming, and easy to talk to. I think the owner doesn't understand that "fit" is the overpricing of a $4 or more for a piece of dough with buttercream frosting. I've made donuts, and this is much ado for not much. It's fun to look at and eat. My review simply warns consumers that if they're not willing to pay more than $4 a donut to save their gas, time and money and go to anywhere else. It's a small shop, so they do sell out quickly, but it's absolutely worth getting there early or pre-ordering a donut and coffee flight to make sure your favorites are waiting for you. Was so looking forward to a doughnut, got there at 10:25 am, the lady said oh we're sold out. No problem I had seen how much people love the lates. So can I have a late please.... They then stated ohhh all of our coffee machines have been shut down. They close at 11am I thought with more than 30 minutes left that would be plenty of time to make a coffee. Why even have a closing time if you can't serve a customer ANYTHING. This place is a must go! I've been going here for months now and it's got to be the best in town. The customer service is above all and Gabby and Ryan have built a very special place. While the vibes of the shop are very cute and the service was great, my husband and I didn't love the donut we got. We split the Key Lime Pie donut and quickly realized it didn't taste much like key lime at all. With key lime, we expected it to be very punchy, but if anything there was a very mild undercurrent of lime. The rest of the flavor just tasted like sugar. We were also thrown off by the texture of the donut. We couldn't decide whether it was a pretty dense yeasted donut or a light cake donut. We eat donuts quite a bit and that was a first. Just discovered that I have a GOURMET donut shop in my backyard and they have been there for 7 months!! My friend & I went for Gilmore girls day. We waited in line for an hour & a half (we were expecting a long wait, so this was not a problem.) When we finally got close to the front, they told the customer two groups ahead of us that they had made the decision to no longer let people order coffee because "it would be a 20 minute wait."
