I don't even like donuts but oh my gosh this was amazing. And I don't know if I'd call this a donut--more of a cronut because of the whole 109 layer thing. But either way, HEAVENLY. I've had so many people recommend Dad's Donuts and I'm so glad I decided to try it. I got the raspberry, vanilla bean, and cinnamon sugar. I think these were the perfect three to start because they aren't too adventurous so I could truly enjoy the donut. It was flakey yet soft and had a great texture. I loved pulling back the layers. I don't know if I'd try the crazy flavors because I just genuinely love the classic base! I took mine to go but you can sit down and eat them warm in the actual shop. I heated mine in the oven. And the selection was fantastic. I think the pricing was also really good! All in all, I loved this place and can't wait to come back. read more

The donuts are super delicious and they have fun flavors! I liked the caramel fluff one. They are a bit pricey, but large and fresh so definitely recommend trying them! Maple was also good. The donuts are pretty similar to cronuts (croissant donut) with a crisp outer edge and a bit layered. So good. read more

These are seriously the BEST donuts!! I am SUUUUPER picky about donuts, 99% of the time I do not care for them enough & when my father told me he brought some home with him I was not interested. He'd cut one of the donuts in half & I noticed it looks nothing like a regular donut at all? I've never seen a donut baked / fried in layers the way these are, which was compelling enough for me to try a bite... that turned into 2 whole donuts!! I'm not sure if all of their donuts are made like this, but even if not, these were the best donuts I've ever had! 100/10 recommend, even just this one variety!! The favorites were the lemon , the smaller squares and the monkey bread - some of the elaborate flavors and fillings are too much with all those laminated layers of dough and butter. Tried the Cinnamon Sugar croissant donut with all its flaky layers and it was very tasty. My husband tried the Monkey Bread. The one he got was kind of small and burnt around the edges but he still enjoyed it. Overall I found the price point high for what you get ($5-6 per item) so that's where I can only give 4 stars but a fun treat once in a while. read more

Pleasantly surprised by these! It's a quaint little spot that wasn't on my radar but we stopped in after seeing the line. Croissant donuts made in house and the employee explained they use no artificial ingredients or dyes, which is amazing! We got the caramel and lemon. The girl also forgot to put the chocolate and caramel sauce for our beignets, which is not a big deal but would've liked to know the taste with the sauces. Probably the most over priced and tasteless things ive ever eaten! $75 for a dozen of their special donuts and $60 for their regular ones??!! I opted for 6 and it was SUPPOSED TO BE buy one get one.... but the math wasn't mathing. My bill came to $32 then with tip, I walked out paying a whopping $39 for 6 donuts. OK I said, I got in my car and took a bite..... honestly, it was HORRIBLE. I thought this place HAS TO BE a money laundering business because these donuts aren't even good. The donuts are made with a flaky dough similar to a croissant. Very buttery mouthfeel and greasy in a good way. I don't want to know the calorie content but I imagine it is high. Great donuts. Some come a variety of "stuffings". I have had the berries jelly and it was delicious. The sugar cinnamon is another favorite and of course the chocolate with sprinkles. Very expensive donuts. Their rewards program gets you 5 dollars off after you buy a bunch of them. Friendly staff. They close when they run out of donuts. A couple of seats are available if you want to eat onsite. There is reserved free parking nearby for the Dad's donuts. I try to limit my purchases to 2-3 times a month. Definitely worth the calories! read more

I really enjoy donuts and intentionally look for new spots. Clean establishment Good customer service Dads donuts are expensive (4.50-5) and are priced per donut and not dozen or half a dozen I love cronuts, I had the Glazed vanilla bean and it was tender, flaky, downside and not overly sweet. They do basically fall apart while eating, which isn't typically how you want your eating experience to be. Also I got my donuts around 8am and the donuts don't taste fresh. The vanilla bean cake donut is dry, it's comparable to King Soopers (and they're less than half the price). Overall it's fun spot to try but These will be a one off for me read more

In the Springs for the day and my son took me to this nice little donut shop. They had a fun selection of donuts. They are not your ordinary donuts though. They are made out of croissants. The staff are friendly and the prices are fair for superb donuts. Boston Creme, Smo'res, Peanut butter, and mocha were all my favorite but they're pricier because they are filled. There are non premium options as well. They also give a discount to military affiliated so be sure to ask. I brought this to the attention of the cashier, and he told me that if I buy six I have to pay the half dozen price, not the actual price of the donut. This resulted in me being over charged by about $3 after tax. So, the best way to buy your donuts is likely one purchase of five donuts, and a second purchase of one donut instead of a half dozen if you plan to buy any of the $4 donuts.
