What a cute little spot. We love mochi donuts and happy to have found one closer to our house! They have lots of tummy flavors of Donuts. It also looked like they had a pretty extensive menu of other food and drink items. We will def be back.

Today I tried the Katsu k-dog which you can get still get half and half or all mozzarella and comes with furikake, bonito flakes and drizzled with oyster sauce. It is delicious! Slightly salty but with those toppings it's to be expected. My daughter got her usual hot Cheetos crusted half and half with spicy link and spicy mayo. She loved it as usual. Her mango smoothie with strawberry jelly and mango popping pearls was also delicious. We also tried a strawberry cheesecake mochi waffle. It came out hot, such a good texture, nice and chewy. I think the glaze was white chocolate but it was definitely strawberry flavored. It was sweet so perfect for sharing , I loved it. I also got my usual black iced tea. I didn't specify no sugar and it was slightly sweet. I'm always glad they are across town because we would be here way too often haha Service is also always good. Today they were super busy and the two workers kept everything running smoothly and orders coming out within 15 minutes or so.

Located in same shopping center as Vallarta Supermarket, next to Love and Thai. Wheelchair accessible. Nice ambiance! Finally got to try Iced Vietnamese Coffee. Never had it before. Lactose intolerant, so got it w/almond milk instead. Pretty good!

We are so happy and lucky to have this place in Southeast Fresno. I come here for mochi donuts, Korean corn dogs, and especially boba. All of their items are super great. Their donuts are always super fresh and delicately made. They have so many unique flavors and I've really enjoyed them all. Most recently, we've gotten cinnamon churro, strawberry shortcake, and a mango coconut mochi donut in honor of Cambodian New Year. The Korean corn dogs are big though sometimes it can lack flavor in the sense that there's a lot of batter or a lot of cheese in some parts. But the hot Cheetos and potatoes are delicious. I just advise you not to forget sauce if you are looking for some extra umph. We've also had the mochi waffle and chicken, which is pretty good, and the furakaki fries. I don't recommend getting the fries to go, since they don't sit well in the box, but I would recommend the staff here to air out the box so the fries don't get soggy. But still nice dish. The boba tea is also excellent. Friends I've come with enjoy the Vietnamese coffees and Thai teas here. The fruit teas are also delicious. I just don't recommend that you get less sweet, since it can taste closer to water than a nice drink. But the boba is always fresh and perfect. I've talked to the owner, Monique, and she is such a kind and genuine person who wants other small businesses to succeed. She opened this shop in honor of her late son, and you can tell how much she loves him. I'm happy to see this small business doing well and hope that it continues to do well.

The donuts were so yummyy my favorite being the caramel churro!! The workers seemed nice especially the girl that took my order, so I totally recommend!!

i always come here and get boba and food (i love their honey wings). the drinks are yummy and the staff are kind. the place is very colorful and fun, they even sell creative and cute items from artists which is fun. i really appreciate one of the baristas, monique. they had ran out of boba but she ensured i had a great experience and was very helpful and sweet. she definitely went out of her way to assist me. i would definitely recommend this place.

Glad to see that there's another mochi doughnut and Korean corn dog place open in Fresno! This place is pretty small, so I prefer taking your food to go! I ordered strawberry shortcake, cookie & cream & churro mochi doughnut. I also ordered full cheese with sugar, and a half & half corn dog with sugar and potatoes. The donuts were pretty good, but the winners were the Korean corn dogs! The sauces they provided wasn't that great, it had a weird aftertaste. I do recommend trying everything though, the only thing I didn't get was their drinks/boba. Service was pretty good, it does take a while for them to get the food out to you as they make it after you order. They were kind enough to fix an error on my order as well. Check this place out!

Arrived around noon and this place was packed. Mostly waiting customers. Beautiful interior with nice decoration and wall art. The menu for the mochi donuts were down. They had a display of the flavors they had. They also had a kiosk by the entrance for self ordering. They have a few tables and chairs and Wi-Fi available. My husband and I ordered 6 out of the 7 flavors that was available. We also got a k-corn dog half cheese and half hot dog with potatoes as the topping and also got a taro milk tea boba. Waited about 20mins for our order. The mochi donuts were about $2.95 per donut and $2.60 in half a dozen. They had their Christmas flavor/ decoration which included: chocolate hazelnut Nutella, Christmas churro, matcha wreath, ugly Xmas sweater cake batter, winter strawberry and eggnog nutmeg. I've had mochi donuts before and I've got to say these are better tasting. The texture is chewy and our donuts were fresh. Some of their flavors were a bit floral tasting which I wasn't a huge fan of but for the most part everything was delicious. The strawberry, matcha and churro and cake batter was a few of my favorites. The taro milk tea boba was on point. The flavor and the boba was nice and soft. The k-corn dog was made fresh to order. Passed the cheese pull test lol nice and crunchy outside. The staff was nice. The donuts, boba and k- corn dog was all very good and definitely better than others I've had. Highly recommend this place.

We took the kids in for a vacation Boba treat. We all tried different flavors of Boba , One daughter had the strawberry banana and the other had passion fruit with poppin strawberry boba . Everyone was ordering the K Dogs and the looked good so we order some too. The Korean hot dogs were delicious also. The girls loved it and we will definitely be back .

Ordered the Korean corn dog half mozzarella cheese and half all beef hot dog with potatoes (chopped up French fries) rolled in ligh sugar with an order of fries very interesting and filling. Would order here again. Cute shop and had other things on the menu that spike an interest. Service was good as well with a smile.

No beef brisket (thin slices). 10/10 soup broth and spice level. And yes, they do charge for rice bowl :) the Bibimbap is awesome as well. The food hits you in the right spot of home cooked meals. Need a good Korean food fix? It's definetly this place!…read more Tucked quietly behind a row of buildings is this little Korean hidden gem that truly feels like home. The resturant is owned by two of the sweetest couples, and you can genuinely feel the warmth and care the moment you walk in. The pop is the chef and the ma is the waitress. The wait time could be a bit longer than other places. Even though the shop is small and not always crowded, the food speaks for itself! It's absolutely amazing! SIDE DISHES :: They serve a selected menu of authentic Korean dishes, and every single seasoning feels perfectly balanced. You can tell everything is made with care and experience. Even the side dishes stood out to me. The fermentation and seasoning are on point! Fresh, flavorful, and not overly vinegary or sour like store bought one. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and comforting. The side dishes comes with fermented kimchi, fermented bean sprout, fish cakes, and sweet fermented potatoes. All of their side dishes are really good! RATE : 5/5 SHRIMP FRIED RICE ($15.99) :: This plate is so simple yet so comforting too. It's not blasted full of flavors but it's perfectly and lightly seasoned. I can taste the light MSG seasoning on this dish. I love it how this plate is not supper oily like any other chinese fried rice. Besides that, there's nothing something special on this dish. If you have young kids and need a quick fix, this plate is not bad. It's not that fatty or oily. RATE : 5/5 SPICY RICE CAKE ($11.99) :: You have to ge this dish! I love their sauce! It's perfectly seasoned! Sweet, salty and spicy. The sauce is thick like they puree pears in it. I'm not sure what is made out of but the text feels like puree pears/apples/potato. The rice cake are perfect cooked! It's soft amd chewy. Very spongy. It goes so well with the sauce. On a note though, the spice level creeps up and could be a bit too spicy. RATE : 5/5 BLACK BEAN SAUCE NOODLE ($13.99) : I originally was looking for Paiks Black Bean Noodles but they closed it down. Im glad that this location have it. The sauce is amazing but i think the noodles are a bit too wet. They couldn't grip onto the noodle much. The whole experience on this dish is a bit disappointing because there not enough sauce and the noodle couldn't grip the sauce so the noodle taste like wet starchy sweet noodles. Besides that, i love the black bean sauce! RATE : 4/5 INTERIOR :: Is a bit out dated with plenty of seatings. Chairs are clean. Tables are well kept but still sticky and smells musty old towels. The bathroom location is located back in the hallway. It's a bit dark and creepy. They do have a few claw machine for activities. RATE : 2/5 SERVICE :: What a sweet couple but be aware that they might miss you. My group and i walked in and seated our self. There's no greeting. We have to flagged someone out from the kitchen. Samething when paying too. That's the difficult part. Their service is horrible but these two couples are really sweet. RATE : 2/5 OVERALL :: There's something really special about finding a quiet little spot like this. It may not be the busiest restaurant in town, but the quality, authenticity, and heart behind the food make it such a memorable place to visit. Definetly one of those hidden gems worth supporting!

You know, coming from years of LA Korean food and then Bay Area Korean food, the Korean food you…read moreget from Korea Mart just doesn't hit. What I mean is that there is something about the Korean food made here that just tastes a bit different than what you'd otherwise get or expect from a more traditional and authentic Korean restaurant. That said, Korea Mart seemed to start off as a Korean mini market, with a small focus on prepared meals. That may have gained some popularity and the owner decided to shift their focus more towards the prepared food and less on the mini mart. The problem is that the prepared food, while focuses on traditional dishes, just doesn't taste traditional. There is something off about the dishes. For example, the Jajamyun's vegetables were very off. It lacked zucchini and the cabbage wasn't enough. The kicker is that the onions weren't even diced. The onions were in big chunks-which actually works sometimes, but made the dish feel lazily and hastily put together. Then, the tubboki was too saucy. Flavor wasn't too bad, but was too saucy. Finally, they refuse to give you an itemized receipt until you finalize payment with a tip? They charge $2 for rice when they don't advertise it anywhere and they ask how many you want without telling you, and rice isn't an extra charge in most Korean restaurants. Just overall pretty disappointed. But then again, Korean restaurant in Fresno was probably a "my bad" decision. Oh well. As for ambiance. It felt like you were eating in the back of a mini mart. Super dark from the outside gave it a weird vibe.

This place has been in my regular rotation since they opened and I have never had a bad meal here…read more The concept is a family style hot pot restaurant where you cook your own protein, vegetables or noodles in a flavored brother. You can pick between 1 and 4 different broths per pot. Each table has one cooking stove top, with the larger tables having two. The broths range from vegetarian to mild, to spicy to meat based. Everything is a la carte with the exception of some premade combinations bundling a variety of like items. There's various meat and veggie combos as well as a seafood combo. I always order the veggie combo which comes with a lot that's easily shareable between 4 people. It comes with various greens, mushrooms, cabbage, corn on the cob, cauliflower, and carrots. I don't eat red meat so I stick to their sliced chicken breast or the shrimp balls. My other favorite is the bean curd sticks which is a good meatless protein option. As for broths my two favorite are the Chinese Healthy Herb and the kimchi. I also like their salted crispy chicken appetizer (popcorn chicken). Steamed rice is also a must for me. They have a dipping sauce bar where you can make your own dipping sauce to accompany your hot pot. With the exception of the broth adding flavor, the meats and all the ingredients you add to your hot pot are unseasoned. It includes everything from soy sauce and fish sauce to garlic, fresh chilis, vinegar, and crushed peanuts. Whether you like to keep it simple, mild, or spicy there's a sauce you can create. The ambiance is pretty nice. It used to be a Chinese restaurant years ago and they did keep some of the things the same. They have 3 different TVs inside. The two larger ones on the walls each play a different Kdrama and the one above the register plays Kpop music videos. They do have one larger table that I think accommodates somewhere between 10-12 people (don't quote me on that) and another that can fit 6 or 7 people. Majority of the tables sit 4 and a couple sit 2. Depending what day and time you go, it can get pretty busy and you might have to wait a while. The staff is always friendly and helpful. At the end of the meal they give you orange slices and hard guava candy. Their orange slices are always so good too and a good palette cleanser at the end.

Huge shoutout to Joy for always remembering our orders and knowing we like to order right away and start eating right away too -- it's such a thoughtful touch that keeps us coming back. The portions are amazing and they definitely do not skimp on anything. Each pot comes with such a great variety, and I especially love the Fuzhou fish balls -- the meat filling inside is such a delicious surprise. We also love adding spam, fish cakes, and tempura to our pots. The unlimited sauce bar is another huge plus with so many options for every type of sauce lover. Outside of the hot pot, the popcorn chicken and spicy edamame are absolute favorites for our family too. We became elite members, which gives a free appetizer every time you dine in -- such a great deal! Overall: generous portions, quality food, reasonable prices, and consistently excellent service. Definitely one of our favorite spots!

Reminds me of boiling point in the PNW. Missus and I showed up after I logged onto their website…read moreusing Toast and joining the waitlist. When we arrived our table was ready but I heard that groups just joining the waitlist had to wait between 15-20 min. Given that this was the holiday weekend in May on a Saturday, make sure you use the online waitlist on their website! The restaurant itself is across from the entrance to Regal in the River Park mall - the missus wondered if this was the only mall in Fresno. It was certainly a bigger outdoor mall than what we usually had in Seattle. Anyway they have a complimentary sauce bar but it's somewhat sparse when you consider actual hotpot sauce bars. The vinegar / soy sauce are off on the side (hard to find). We ordered some appetizers, a classic Boba milk tea (50% off with hotpot purchase, a special until sometime later this year), and a hotpot for each of us. Given my peanut allergy we didn't risk anything from the deep fryer (only one, and they share it). That being said the hotspots themselves were fine. You pick the spiciness, your carb (vermicelli, white or brown rice), your meat/protein (beef, lamb, pork belly, chicken...), and your spice level. For the ones that the missus and I picked (jpot and the one next to it that says "founders favourite") the minimum spice is medium (which is way too high for me, happens to be very mild for the missus).. Service was great - the staff kept checking on us frequently. They don't give you chopsticks by default, so the wait staff asked if we wanted some (we did). The missus asked for an extra bowl and we received it promptly. The only "negative" was that we never got water refills... It was quite busy though, with a lot of folks waiting as we were leaving. That being said we were seated, ordered, served and paid fairly quickly. The parking sitch can be difficult - it's free but the mall parking in general near jpot is definitely sparse - we had to wait until someone left to take their spot.

Recommended to me by a friend who lives in the area, and I'd say it's super solid…read more All the options were pretty good, even the sides and tofu soup. My favorites were the bulgogi and spicy LA short rib. Rounds came in quick, and overall had a super good time with friends. I recommend it to anyone looking for KBBQ in Fresno.

I was unsure how to rate this place overall, so I decided on a middle of the road 3 stars…read more $35 per person, ayce, plus tax and tip. Discount for cash and 4% charge for credit (there is several signs at the entrance). Does not include alcohol or desert items. For 2 people, each with a soda (free refills), $83 cash or $86 credit (not sure if that included the 4% charge). We arrived little after 5 on a Sat. Was immediately seated with no reservation. There was multiple laminated menus on the table. Looked like each table seated 6, each with a grill and overhead exhaust vent. I could not hear any exhaust vent fans. Noise level was normal for a restaurant this size and a conversation could easily be had with other people at the table. With 2 people, able to order 3 meats at a time. Meats are brought out promptly and soda was refilled frequently. The grill tops were replaced frequently during the meal. The bad. It gets SMOKEY!!!! Not sure what's wrong with their exhaust, but it does not seem to work very well. The floor gets greasy slippery (I was wearing non stick shoes and was able to easily slide on the floor). The overhead exhaust fan... grease constantly dripped from the vent on the grill. They are obviously were not cleaned before that dinner service... we left smelling like we had sat in a bbq smoker. Because of that I would not recommend wearing nice clothes to this place unless you want them to smell like bbq for the next while. The bulguli was amazing!! I would skip on the ny steak. The chicken was surprisingly good. If you have never cooked seafood on a grill like that, you may want to skip the squid and octopus. The pork belly was basically thin sliced bacon. If I returned, I would stick with beef bulguli, spicy pork bulguli, and brisket or spicy bbq chicken. The spicy was not that spicy. Maybe a 2 out of 10. Like jalapeño spicy. The food and service was excellent. The smoke... this makes me rethinking on returning...
