Hey everyone, I just wanna say that I'm gonna give this place a 4 stars just because every time I visit I always have a problem placing an order and that is simply because they don't speak English very well and so that kind of ruins my experience a little bit, but it just takes a little bit of patience. I still managed to get my items in the end and it always turns out terrific. I recommend their corn cup served with hot Cheetos as that is 1 of their topping options and also I enjoy ordering their drinks like their homemade Agua Fresca's, which is very delightful and tasty. I recommend their rice drink or their cucumber and poppy seeds or is it basil seeds I don't quite remember, but it's really refreshing. Also, The drinks are pretty sweet so ask for extra ice so eventually it will melt down into ur cup. The fruit was pretty good even though we asked for less lime and chili, they put quite a bit in the cup. My son likes coming here for their Cookie Monster ice cream.. he mixes it with the fruit pebbles since u get two scoops for the small. My new favorite ice cream there odd the queso one!! Reminds me of salted cheese foam they put on the boba teas at the boba places... it's so good but man one paletas is like $3.99 I think. This place is amazing for "antojitos mexicanos"... Mexican cravings. I went earlier in the day, around 1pm, the place was super clean, quiet and not busy. I have been here before in the evening on a summer night and it was sooooo busy with the line going out the door! They have fresh drinks, including the limeade with chia seeds I posted. Yo no sabía que la encargada ya había salido, así que le pedí amablemente que llamara a la señora. Cuando por fin salió, le pedí que repitiera lo que había dicho, y me respondió de forma muy grosera: "Ten un poco de dignidad, quiérete un poco, este es un lugar decente y hay niños aquí", insinuando que yo era una persona sin respeto solo por haber mostrado cariño a mi pareja. Le dije que me respetara, que no habíamos hecho nada malo, pero ella se exaltó más y comenzó a insultarme. Le pedí hablar con su manager, y me respondió de forma burlona que "ella vota aquí", como si eso le diera más autoridad. Le recordé que era una empleada y exigí hablar con la encargada. Fue entonces cuando supe que la persona con la que ya hablaba era la manager, y le expliqué todo. Le pedí que revisara las cámaras para comprobar que no había ningún motivo para que me trataran así. Her tone and comments were extremely judgmental, implying I was being indecent just for showing a bit of affection to my partner. I told her to respect me because we weren't doing anything inappropriate, but she got even more aggressive, raised her voice, and continued insulting me. I asked to speak to the manager, and her response was, "I vote here," as if that gave her more power. I reminded her she was an employee and demanded to speak with the person in charge. That's when I realized I was already speaking to the manager, and I explained everything to her. I asked her to check the security cameras to confirm that nothing inappropriate had happened. The manager apologized and told me it would never happen again, but even as she said that, the woman was laughing in our faces, showing no respect--even to her own boss. I told the manager we wouldn't be staying because this used to be a place we visited often with friends, family, or just the two of us. This place was overwhelming but amazing. Excellent selection and superb customer service! First time here, walked right in and only two people ahead of me. Had to tell the girl I wasn't ready as I wanted to check out their entire selection which took up the entire length of their store. After I got to the end and turned around there was already twin people behind me and a line outside waiting to come in. When I got served the girl was super nice in accommodating my request as I wasn't sure what I ordering but she hit it out of the park. Got me my mango cup with chamoy and chile and Lemmon juice. I even got some paletas which she hooked me up with a bag of ice to take home since I was coming back to Hanford. If I had one complaint is that this place is overwhelming. Their selection is HUGE and it's easy to get passed up while poking around seeing what all they have. Otherwise they have every thing you can think of. The dude and I have gone to La Michoacána Premium, the first time in December 2019 and January 2020 as their ice cream is delicious and plus it is by my job. I have gotten the Mangoneada which I chose Watermelon and and Mango with the works as you can see in my pictures, so delicious! I also tried the chocolate banana ice cream which was so yummy! One of my favorite ice cream shops. They have pretty good hours however I am not gone back since January 2020 but I wanted to twice but missed it due to arriving too late. They are open pretty late. However now, I am not sure if they are open due to COVID-19. Prior, the staff was always friendly and nice. The dude and I always beat the rush as the line can sometimes be out the door. It is always clean inside and smells yummy. They have so many flavor offerings it's insane and the quality of the frozen treats are bomb! So delicious. They have several scoop sizes to choose from, which the dude likes to get baby scoops, that's what I call them. The prices are affordable. They also have RICH tasting Mexican drinks which always look so appetizing and I am tempted to get but I am watching my caloric intake of sugars so I can only pick one treat and ice cream always win! I highly recommend this ice cream shop as it will blow your mind, it's like walking into the most authentic tasting ice cream ever hands down! I wanted a place that serves antojitos and was super excited to try this place. Two of my girlfriends and I went in. As we walked in, the two cooks were really rude to us. As they took our order, the environment felt hostile. I ordered corn in a cup and chamoy candy. The corn had a very VERY small amount of cream/mayo and cheese. The corn was VERY watered down and tasted old. The chamoy candies were so old that it just felt apart when I would grab one. I waited a few days to write this review because I wanted to ask my friends if it was just me who felt the hostile environment and If maybe my taste buds were off, but they had also agreed about the rudeness and bad taste of their corn. I heard this place was pretty popular, so it was my first time visiting yesterday and I don't really understand why it is. The place is huge but there's only 5 tables and the place was stuffy and disgusting. The way they run their employees to help guests is confusing and waaaaay too hectic. You get one employee assisting you and they run back and forth between the ice cream to drinks to ice creams again. And none of the workers used GLOVES. They shows pictures of items on a tv throughout the store but do not say the name of it. The menu is quite ample so one is left scratching their head on which to choose from. I'm very basic (yes I just said that) so I usually just get a paleta or a scoop of ice cream, but once in a great while I'll get a store invention/creation. Also, I felt rushed. Since the lines were long I think they panic and try to hurry with everyone. I felt like I couldn't even ask questions. Well I walked out with a paleta I didn't even care for. I thought I would like it but the texture ruined it for me and it was overly sweet. I tasted 2 of other flavors Ronnie had in his cup, and one of them tasted straight like mayonnaise. The girl at the counter was friendlier with my brother than she was with me. But thats ok, she let me sample different kinds of flavors. There is ALWAYS a line when I come so be prepared for a wait. Anyways, the place is always clean and looks brand new (duh!). They have a lot of stuff available like fruit drinks, ice cream, corn, nachos, etc. I've tried the corn (mayo, cheese, pepper, butter) in a bag of Xtra Hot Cheetos. It cost around $7-8 I believe. It was good, but way too much for me. I've also gotten the corn in a cup. A small is around $3-4 and the large is like $6-7. That's really good and mostly why I come since I can never find the elote man in my neighborhood. I've tried the fruit pebbles ice cream too and that was really good, but half way into it started tasting weird lol. That was probably just me though. The customer service here is a hit or miss. Some workers are helpful and others look like they hate being there. Overall, I love to come here. It is pricey, but they're considering all their overhead costs so I can't really complain.
