Cute shop with mochi donuts, ramen cooking, boba, self serve Asian snacks and unusual drinks served in sealed poptops! Great, friendly service. Like a visit to Asia. Anime atmosphere.

I didn't realize there's a Mochinut in Gilbert until I suddenly craved it and searched it up. Unfortunately they don't have the dogs in this location. My favorite mochinut is Macha, then coffe and sesame, just the right amount of sweetness, not too much.

Food: Sweet and chewy mochinut with nice variety of flavors Service: Fast and friendly. They have the self-service kiosk so that was nice. Ambiance: Cozy and cute little shop.

The donuts/mochinuts here are always tasty and fun to eat. They have a very bouncy texture and are flavorful. They're also not over the top sweet which I like. The cashier was very friendly and nice. The ambiance is a relaxed vibe. Kind of what you would expect from a donut shop. They also have boba which I did not try but will be ordering next time I go back. Taste: 7.5/10 Ambiance: 7/10 Cleanliness: 9/10 Service: 9/10 Value: 4/10 (it's a bit expensive)

Stumbled upon this shop when I was dropping my car off for an oil change. It was really cute, with the service being quick and efficient. I tried a taro donut and the funnel cake. They were both SO yummy, I loved the chewy texture of the mochi donut. I also ordered an ube drink with mochi and a coffee drink. They were both really good, however they don't offer a different type of milk besides whole milk, which is a bit disappointing. I give it 4 stars for the donuts and 3 for the beverages due to the lack of options. Definitely worth a try and I'm curious to try their rice hot dogs in the future!

The donuts are consistent across mochinut locations and so i definitely had a huge belly laugh when i read the first person to review this location not because they've never had mochi donuts but because they think this is a small business. Close to 150 locations across the country doesn't sound like they are hurting for people's money especially at 9 dollars for 3 donuts. Personally id rather shop at a local mom and pop shop who don't have 149+ locations out here. Great examples are the local donut(Scottsdale) and mochi Roly in mesa. We came in today for a freebie donut we got off of instagram and tried the ube coated donut. It was cloyingly sweet. We also got the ube boba drink. It was so terrible that neither my son and i wanted to get past 2-3 sips each. The boba was over cooked and the ube drink was just off. My son who mind you LOVES homemade ube halaya so for him not to like it speaks volumes. He was so mad that the boba was bad that we had to go across the street to one of our staples. Pink panda boba at the gas station. Wasn't complaining there one bit. I drank mine too fast as usual. Can't say we will be back. It's fine but there are better options. Real local spots not chains.

Very delicious! Matcha is a must try!! The ube churro is also a favorite! We will definitely become regulars here because the kids love it so much. This is a nice addition to Gilbert. The service is great. Paying is easy.

Very friendly. We were greeted with a smile and given lots of time to look at products to make our decisions. If one likes mochi and donuts this is the perfect place to go. Yummy!

I've never tried mochi donuts before, but kept seeing this place on Facebook and wanted to try it. The shop is really cute and the staff was very friendly and helpful at explaining the menu. The donuts are really soft and delicious. Definitely worth trying. The funnel cake was very good. The chocolate was very rich and sweet.

Mochinut is AWESOME! The cinnamon churro mochinut is easily one of the best flavors and I highly recommend the peached ice tea. The coffee drink with boba is also reallly good! One of the cashiers on Friday evening was also super helpful and really nice and helped us make ramen

As I looked around, I couldn't help but think that if I lived there, I'd probably be stopping in daily. The combination of a bakery and coffee house makes it the perfect neighborhood spot. Although I skipped the coffee this visit--it was mid-afternoon on a Sunday, and I wasn't looking for a caffeine boost--I'll definitely be back to give it a try. For this visit, we focused on the baked goods and sampled four items: the chocolate croissant doughnut, maple croissant doughnut, vanilla doughnut, and a red velvwtcupcake. Every single one was delicious. The croissant doughnuts were wonderfully flaky with just the right amount of sweetness, the vanilla doughnut was soft and flavorful, and the red velvet cupcake was rich and satisfying. It's rare to find a bakery where every item you try is a winner, but this one delivered across the board. Whether you're stopping in for coffee, a sweet treat, or both, this charming bakery is well worth a visit. I'll definitely be back.

Perhaps dining in is a better experience, I can't remember if they warm up the pastry but we took our maple, cheesecake croissant, and cinnamon roll to go. It tasted a day old. The croissant/ bread didn't taste fresh, almost stale. I opted to warm it up a bit, it was a bit better but then it just started feeling too sweet so I wasn't interested anymore. the cinnamon roll breading lacked flavor, but the cream on top was good. But again the bread dough just felt stale. It was a Sunday in the AM that we went. Not busy at all. Since it's a part of an apartment, parking is a little awkward and can feel tight. You could easily not notice the place and mistake it for being closed. It's right off of the round about. (the wind had blew over the open sign and the open sign wasn't lit) Service is okay, nice enough. Not really warm. Seating is ample and is cozy to sit and read or catch up with a friend.

To be honest, I wasn't craving a donut at the time. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to try 19th Donut Hole since I'm very rarely in this area. I chose three donuts: glazed yeast, chocolate yeast, and a cronut, which is their specialty. Though the donuts were pretty tasty, I just wasn't blown away. I'd definitely give them another try, though, and perhaps order the custom letter donuts if the need arises!
