Uniform thickness of plastic fragments measured 2.5 mm

// Documented Food Safety Issue Met With No Response On May 10 my daughter was eating an acai bowl (her favorite) from the Gilbert Better Buzz when she noticed something in her mouth that didn't match the texture of the food. She took it out before swallowing, and when we looked through the rest of the bowl we found several more pieces. They turned out to be rigid plastic fragments. I kept them and photographed them with measurements. It was the Mother's Day rush and the staff was working hard, so I'm not knocking them for not catching it. We didn't go back that day for the same reason. I tried calling instead and got voicemail, which was understandable on a morning like that. I figured they'd call me back before Friday since it was a food safety issue, but no call came. Over the next nine days I submitted reports through Better Buzz corporate sent emails with these pictures and with my order sticker (not posted here for privacy reasons), and made more phone attempts. The only thing I got back was one automated acknowledgement from the first webform "Thank you so much for contacting us! Our team will get back to you within 2-3 business days." A quick acknowledgement that a human looked at it and it didn't just go into the corporate ether would have been enough for me, but nothing ever came. Foreign objects in food can happen at any restaurant, I get that. What concerned me is that Better Buzz is a chain and presumably uses the same prep equipment across stores. If a part is breaking down at one location it could be breaking down at others, and I figured they would want to know before something worse happens to another kid. Whatever system they have for handling this kind of thing doesn't seem to be working too well. Since nobody got back to me, I filed a report with Maricopa County Environmental Services and turned over the documentation and photos. We had been regular customers at both the Scottsdale and Gilbert locations for quite a while, which is part of why the complete lack of follow-up was so disappointing.

Buzz Coffee checked all the boxes for the perfect breakfast stop. We were on the hunt for a place that offered breakfast sandwiches, quality coffee, and açaí bowls--and Buzz delivered across the board. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the space itself is charming with a curated selection of merch. We opted to sit outside, which made for a really enjoyable, relaxed experience. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and easily a 5/5. This is definitely a spot I'd return to and recommend.

Heard that Better Buzz had the Banana Pudding Best Drink Ever so I just had to try it. I also ordered the Bacon Ciabatta but substituted the bacon with turkey instead. Was really wanting the Better Breakfast sandwich but they ran out of that one. Their coffee is good but I didn't really taste the banana pudding. The sandwich was alright. Nothing special. I feel like it's a bit over-priced tbh. I've had their Coconut Best Drink Ever and more recently, their Strawberry Rose Best Drink Ever. Out of all three drinks, I'd say the coconut one is my favorite! All locations are a bit out of the way for me so I'll probably only stop by if I'm in the area that's near one.

I've never been here before but so many people like it. It's so clean on the inside and really nice vibe. I got the blueberry blast energy drink... so good!!! Will definitely be back

Better Buzz Gilbert: Where parking is a nightmare but the staff and coffee are a dream. I found out that this location is decently close to the gym I go to. Popped in for a post-workout cup of caffeine and walked away ready to punch this day in the neck. Order on the app for convenience. Parking here is maddening so beware if you're coming during busy hours. Other than that, they're great Better Buzz location.

Pumpkin pie coffee 1/2 sweet extra shots is to die for

Truly one of my favorite coffees in the valley when I order it directly there (not from DoorDash). The vibes are very San Diego inside and the staff is more than bubbly. But ordering on DoorDash it just seems like I can't get the whole *I want four shots of espresso* and 1/4 sweet part right. I didn't knock off stars for this because seriously it is dang good coffee either way, but I'm warning you to try to help you get the coffee you're expecting bc their drinks run sweet. That hasn't stopped me from ordering it like 10 times, I am seriously obsessed with their pumpkin when they have it. It tastes so homemade and blows everywhere else out of the park. The snickerdoodle latte. Their caprese sandwich is SO FREAKING GOOD. But I don't recommend it on a croissant. As gluttonous and amazing as it sounds, it's not structured enough and too wet. Don't modify it. I wish they had gluten free bagels, an egg-which or protein bagels. Surprised since they're pretty up with the trends. Overall I highly recommend this place and I'm a coffee addict!

First time here and have been wanting to try it for a while! The best coffee ever was soooo good! Definitely worth coming back for. The chili crunch breakfast wrap was ok. The tortilla was kinda hard and over cooked and it wasn't that spicy. The employee at the counter who took our order was so friendly and helpful since it was our first visit. The young lady who gave us our drinks was a little short with us but it's fine. I absolutely loved the decor and the vibe of this place! So cute!! I'll be back

Always enjoying new coffee spots! So many good stuff on this menu hard to decide.

OMG! This place is so delicious! Menu is full of goodies! At times hard to choose which to try! So my son and I would always come back. Theres not a drink that I don't like all so tasty! The best drink ever Lavender coffee isn't so over powering either. Pistachio it's just a perfect amount of nuts in there not strong taste of pistachio in it. All yummy! Blue burstin energy drink is also tasty! I had an avocado toast last time, but unfortunately didn't take a picture, but it was so good as well! Definitely recommend this place ! TRY IT OUT U NEVER KNOW!

I've been to theBetter Buzz Coffee Tempe location and liked it so when they opened a location in Gilbert I just had to try! There's plenty of parking available, but can possibly be challenging during peak times since there are other businesses in the shopping strip. I've been here three times now and have never had an issue with the parking. The staff is wonderful; always friendly and helpful. The space is bright and inviting, with bee and honeycomb theme throughout. There's plenty of seating inside and out, and I always see customers working on their laptops. My favorite is whatever is the Best Drink Ever seasonal flavor. The original comes with classic americano and signature creamy vanilla, which is delightful, but the seasonal flavors are always on point. The foam is nice, too. They now carry Noble Bread pastries which is the perfect excuse for me to make another visit soon!

    Peppermint matcha

Finally got to try this place! I've been back a few times already to get a good idea of what I'd order again. First off, they use their signature vanilla powder in their drinks. They even offer the power for sale in stores! The powder taste wasn't for me though. I got the caramel vanilla latte, caramel latte, and peppermint matcha. All adjusted with half sweetness. Sadly, my lattes were more on the milky side and little coffee taste. If you're wanting more of that, I'd recommend getting an extra shot of espresso. However, I did enjoy the peppermint matcha! It was refreshing and not too sweet. I'll be getting that again. I've only been through the drive through. Service is fast and the staff is great!

Better Buzz Coffee at Val Vista & Williams Field in Gilbert is a standout local spot. They completely redid the interior, and it shows: sleek, modern, bright, and way sharper than you'd expect. Plenty of seating, great lighting, and a clean, welcoming vibe that makes it easy to linger. The coffee is moderately priced and honestly really good. My latte was smooth, perfectly pulled, and made with beans that taste fresh and thoughtfully sourced; definitely a clear cut above the big chains without feeling overpriced or pretentious. The chocolate muffin was just okay. It wasn't dry or stale, but it wasn't memorable either; slightly above average at best. I wouldn't go out of my way for the pastries. Service was friendly. Overall, this place has easily become a favorite coffee stop in south Gilbert. Great remodel, solid coffee, comfortable space; worth swinging by whenever you're near the intersection. Skip the muffin and you'll leave happy.

Raspberry Blondie Best Drink and Coconut Matcha Tea Latte.
    Joyce W.

If coffee is a fruit, it should be officially listed on the nutrition pyramid. Ah, life is better buzzed. It even says so on their cups! I've been a fan of their Tempe location so I assumed I'll love their Gilbert location just as much. I was right. I got a Coconut Matcha Tea Latte, 1/2 sweet with oat milk, here after Mike D. (go add him) earnestly convinced me to try their matcha. He said it was the best matcha in state. High regards! I got it and it was definitely a good matcha. Also to be had this trip was a Raspberry Blondie Best Drink Ever because I still love me some coffee. Better Buzz Coffee is an adorably yellow coffee chain that is San Diego, CA based with locations all around CA, AZ, and NV. Give them a try! You can get buzzed in Gilbert too.

    Katie C.

Always love their drinks. Tried the food today. Although it wasn't cheap, it was good! The place is always clean and friendly.

It's warm, magical, and the perfect place to get lost in a book. There is also a vintage-style Photo Booth that will print out two photo strips for $5! I also love the story behind this place starting online and growing into a physical bookstore that now carries such a fun variety of books, plus the cutest hip and trendy merch (hats, book pins, shirts, and more). The coffee is good, and their menu is surprisingly extensive. I ordered the cookie butter latte and was genuinely impressed by both the size and the taste. I stopped in around 6:00 pm to get some work done before a cycling class. The first thing the cashier told me was that the espresso machines were already shut down and that only hot tea was available. I asked what time the shop closed, and he said 7:00 pm. Since I still had time, I decided to stay and purchased tea. After sitting down, I was told--due to construction--that they would be "locking up soon." I assumed this still meant 7:00 pm. I received my tea around 6:10 pm, and by 6:20 pm I was told they would be locking the doors and turning off the lights. At that point, it felt passive-aggressive and misleading. If I had been told upfront that the shop was closing early, I would not have ordered anything. I specifically asked what time you were closing, and that information was not communicated clearly until after I had already paid. Additionally, if the shop is supposedly open until 7:00 pm, it's confusing why the espresso machines were already turned off at 6:00 pm. As for the tea -- 2/10. I didn't even finish it. I'm sure the coffee may be good, but this is the first time I've been to a coffee shop where the espresso machine was shut down an hour before closing. Lastly, as a study space, it's very limited: only two tables with about eight chairs total. There are outlets, but not nearly enough to support people working. Overall, the lack of clear communication and the rushed, uncomfortable atmosphere made this a disappointing experience.

In addition to the regular entrance, they have a huge garage door access so on nicer days they can open up the seating area for fresh air and more of an outside but inside vibe. Staff were friendly barista hippie types but took a while for them to acknowledge us standing there even though there was no line. Ordered one hot tea and a seasonal coffee drink. Neither were great and their pricing is misleading. For example the seasonal drink was supposed to be $5.89 but was charged $7.65 and the tea was nothing more than a basic tealeaves in hot water. We didn't add any items to justify the upcharge but when I brought it to the cashiers attention she was unsure how to adjust the price or offer a refund unless we wanted loose change. SMH. If a Customer pays by Apple pay, they should be refunded or credited in the same way. Their pastry selection is lacking however, this might be because we came a little later in the day but there was not a lot of options. The lemon scone was delicous but the raspberry key lime cupcake was far too sweet. However, this was an awesome shop and I would highly recommend it.

They did not have much to eat on a weekday other than a simple pastry or a top level of scone. It was easily one of the best scones I've had in the valley - most taste way too sweet and are not crumbly, but this was a perfect dry, crumbly, more of a traditional scone with addition of some small chocolate chips. You might find it a little bit hard to get to, but don't be discouraged, right off of William Dillard Drive... you're gonna see a church campus on the right hand side, there may or may not be a sign out there about the coffee shop, but go ahead and pull up to the campus and make a left-hand turn and follow it all the way to kind of the north... And you will see the coffee shop. It has huge windows, and garage windows. You can sit inside or outside. With summer coming I'm sure that those will be shut in the air conditioning will be running in my understanding is that they have more food on the weekends. If you have children that have some extra energy and you would love to enjoy your coffee why they kind of tumble around, outside, this is definitely the place to go. I have a friend with a one year-old and he wants to walk and move around, he's getting hard to contain for our weekly quiet coffee. I told her we drive over to the church campus to enjoy a high quality coffee prepared well

I love everything about it--from the friendly service and flavorful coffee to the spacious layout and relaxing atmosphere. This spot is perfect for meeting up with friends, hosting group discussions, brainstorming sessions, or simply enjoying some quiet time alone. It truly has something for everyone. I ordered a Caramel Macchiato, my absolute favorite, and as always, it was perfectly balanced and delicious. The shop is open from Sunday to Wednesday but closes Thursday to Saturday due to church events. It's also a popular venue for weddings and large gatherings. If you're looking for a cozy spot for a special occasion or just a peaceful coffee break, this place is definitely worth checking out. As for me, I know I'll be back again soon!

Everything about it just feels right -- the vibe, the people, and especially the food. You can tell they actually care. The staff is super welcoming and generous, not in a forced way, just genuinely good energy from the second you walk in. Food-wise, they don't miss. The honeycomb with cream cheese inside is insane -- sweet, rich, and something you don't really see anywhere else. The Dubai chocolate latte is a must-try too, super smooth and indulgent without being over the top. The beef samosas are perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, and the chocolate pistachio croissant is easily one of the best pastries I've had in a while. Honestly, every time I go I end up trying something new and it's always solid. You can tell they put real thought into everything they serve. Definitely one of those spots you keep coming back to.

I came across Moka & Co while searching for the best Dubai-style coffee in the area, and I'm so glad I gave it a try. Their Dubai iced coffee is really good--while it didn't quite top the one I had in New York, it definitely ranks as my second favorite. The only downside is the price. A 16 oz drink was $10, which feels a bit steep for a medium-sized coffee. Overall, though, it's a great option if you're craving a Dubai-style iced coffee without leaving Arizona.
