I'm a huge fan of Better Buzz! They have the best matcha lattes I've found anywhere. I always substitute almond milk and get it 75% sweet and it's absolutely perfect! One thing that I've noticed about Better Buzz is that they rarely make a mistake - their consistency is important... and appreciated! This Gilbert location has tons of available comfortable seats, which is great when you're looking for a place to sit and get some work done! Update 6/9. I want to add to this fairly, because credit where it's due, the response was fast at first. My review went up on 5/21 and by the very next day, 5/22, a regional manager named Jayson responded publicly as the business owner, and left his email. I emailed him that same day, and after I followed up on 5/27 he wrote back, copied the store manager, and asked me to send my phone number and a good time so we could talk it through directly. I did exactly that, same day. That was 5/27. It is now 6/9 and I have not heard a word back. No email, no call, no text. The original incident was 5/10, so we are at 30 days now. This wasn't a stray hair - that's relatively benign and sometimes happens in food prep, not great but harmless. This was a different category of foreign body in food: fragments that looked like they came off equipment, which means whatever produced them is presumably still in use, still capable of doing it again to the next person. This is what made the unresponsiveness frustrating. It's not about my daughter's one açaí bowl, it's about whether the thing that caused it ever got looked at. A simple "we looked at it, can't determine yet what happened, but we'll update you" would have been fine, but I got boilerplate "you deserve better" corporate slop. I didn't want my ego stroked, I wanted them to look into something serious. They are great at moving fast in public: their Yelp! reply was up within a day, right under my review, where everyone can see it. But the private follow-up, the part nobody else is watching, has now gone three weeks radio silent, after they were the ones who asked for my number, but never used it. Fast when it's visible, and crickets when it's not, tells you where the attention really goes. If you're reading this and trying to decide, take a little time with the reviews here, the detailed ones and the thin ones, the recent and the older, and decide for yourselves if there is a pattern or not. I'm done with them, they lost my trust. For the record, their açaí bowls when they don't contain bits of industrial machinery are pretty good, but we'll go to Swami's when we are in Oceanside and will try to find something else in the valley. read more

First time and Just okay...I had cold brew with vanilla cinnamon cold foam and it was so sweet. Usually cold brew is not sweet at all so the cold foam adds a touch of sweetness but this was almost too sweet I couldn't finish it. Heard that Better Buzz had the Banana Pudding Best Drink Ever so I just had to try it. I also ordered the Bacon Ciabatta but substituted the bacon with turkey instead. Was really wanting the Better Breakfast sandwich but they ran out of that one. Their coffee is good but I didn't really taste the banana pudding. The sandwich was alright. Nothing special. I feel like it's a bit over-priced tbh. I've had their Coconut Best Drink Ever and more recently, their Strawberry Rose Best Drink Ever. Out of all three drinks, I'd say the coconut one is my favorite! All locations are a bit out of the way for me so I'll probably only stop by if I'm in the area that's near one. read more

Better Buzz Gilbert: Where parking is a nightmare but the staff and coffee are a dream. I found out that this location is decently close to the gym I go to. Popped in for a post-workout cup of caffeine and walked away ready to punch this day in the neck. Order on the app for convenience. Truly one of my favorite coffees in the valley when I order it directly there (not from DoorDash). The vibes are very San Diego inside and the staff is more than bubbly. But ordering on DoorDash it just seems like I can't get the whole *I want four shots of espresso* and 1/4 sweet part right. I didn't knock off stars for this because seriously it is dang good coffee either way, but I'm warning you to try to help you get the coffee you're expecting bc their drinks run sweet. That hasn't stopped me from ordering it like 10 times, I am seriously obsessed with their pumpkin when they have it. It tastes so homemade and blows everywhere else out of the park. The snickerdoodle latte. Their caprese sandwich is SO FREAKING GOOD. But I don't recommend it on a croissant. As gluttonous and amazing as it sounds, it's not structured enough and too wet. Don't modify it. I wish they had gluten free bagels, an egg-which or protein bagels. Surprised since they're pretty up with the trends. I've been to theBetter Buzz Coffee Tempe location and liked it so when they opened a location in Gilbert I just had to try! There's plenty of parking available, but can possibly be challenging during peak times since there are other businesses in the shopping strip. I've been here three times now and have never had an issue with the parking. The staff is wonderful; always friendly and helpful. The space is bright and inviting, with bee and honeycomb theme throughout. There's plenty of seating inside and out, and I always see customers working on their laptops. My favorite is whatever is the Best Drink Ever seasonal flavor. The original comes with classic americano and signature creamy vanilla, which is delightful, but the seasonal flavors are always on point. The foam is nice, too. They now carry Noble Bread pastries which is the perfect excuse for me to make another visit soon! read more

Finally got to try this place! I've been back a few times already to get a good idea of what I'd order again. First off, they use their signature vanilla powder in their drinks. They even offer the power for sale in stores! The powder taste wasn't for me though. I got the caramel vanilla latte, caramel latte, and peppermint matcha. All adjusted with half sweetness. Sadly, my lattes were more on the milky side and little coffee taste. If you're wanting more of that, I'd recommend getting an extra shot of espresso. However, I did enjoy the peppermint matcha! Better Buzz Coffee at Val Vista & Williams Field in Gilbert is a standout local spot. They completely redid the interior, and it shows: sleek, modern, bright, and way sharper than you'd expect. Plenty of seating, great lighting, and a clean, welcoming vibe that makes it easy to linger. The coffee is moderately priced and honestly really good. My latte was smooth, perfectly pulled, and made with beans that taste fresh and thoughtfully sourced; definitely a clear cut above the big chains without feeling overpriced or pretentious. The chocolate muffin was just okay. It wasn't dry or stale, but it wasn't memorable either; slightly above average at best. I wouldn't go out of my way for the pastries. Service was friendly. Overall, this place has easily become a favorite coffee stop in south Gilbert. Great remodel, solid coffee, comfortable space; worth swinging by whenever you're near the intersection. OMG! This place is so delicious! Menu is full of goodies! At times hard to choose which to try! So my son and I would always come back. Theres not a drink that I don't like all so tasty! The best drink ever Lavender coffee isn't so over powering either. Pistachio it's just a perfect amount of nuts in there not strong taste of pistachio in it. All yummy! I've been a fan of their Tempe location so I assumed I'll love their Gilbert location just as much. I was right. I got a Coconut Matcha Tea Latte, 1/2 sweet with oat milk, here after Mike D. Finally, today I took the chance to try this location just a few weeks after the grand opening. Had to check out what all the buzz was about with this new coffee shop just down the street from my house. I know they have multiple locations now in the valley, but this was my first time trying this site out. I only ordered an iced coffee & chose to walk in as a posed to the drive thru as it was packed for a Monday at 10:30 AM. Got the seasonal Pumpkin Foam Cold Brew. It's Better Buzz's signature cold brew with a refreshing pumpkin foam & cinnamon sugar. Well round and refreshing. The shop itself is very trendy, with great merch featuring their logo and slogan, which adds a nice touch. They offer many signature bags of blends throughout the store too! The staff was friendly, and even though the drive thru was mobbed, they were moving & got my drink out without much of a wait and kept the energy brisk. The atmosphere is welcoming & service made it a great overall experience. Since my excellent experience at one of the SD Better Buzz Coffee, I knew I just had to come here. The coffee is amazing, the food is top notch. Customer service is fast, efficient and friendly. I've been hearing all the buzz about this place since it opened it's first one in Phoenix last year. I had San Diego friends REALLY go on about it. And - it's fine! I'd much rather have this than Starbucks, but compared to the local chains here, this was fair. I stopped in on Friday, the day after it's huge grand opening. It was so busy still the following day! The interior is SO pretty though, and they were very well staffed. There is a lot a drive thru, but the parking lot is small. If you are in the area., still stop in. Super cute coffee spot in Gilbert! They've got a few other locations that have popped up around the Valley too. I ordered the iced horchata latte and my boyfriend got the iced white mocha latte, and both were decent! I wouldn't say the coffee itself blew me away, but the vibe and service totally make up for it. The space is perfect for a coffee date or casual meet-up (probably not my go-to for a daily coffee run though). Giving two stars for the friendly employees there. Unfortunately, I ordered a chai latte, I did a little sip but it was too hot so I waited a bit to cool then I opened the cup and noticed a lot was missing as you can see in my photo. Also, their chai's are pre mix powdered and not a water based concentrated tea like some other coffee shops. I know because I can taste the powder still in my drink so it was not mix well. Lastly, it was wayyy to sweet. I think they need to use a different type of chai mix or change how they make their chais. read more

This location is very close to where I live, so I was excited to try it out. My daughter and I went this morning and ordered an iced pumpkin chai, a maple cold brew, avocado elote toast, a chili wrap(I forget the whole name) , and a pumpkin muffin. We loved all of our items. The chai had dark sediment on the bottom. I'm not sure what that was but it tasted good. The chili wrap didn't taste like there was chili ? I'd have liked more flavor... but again it was still good. Everything was hot! I love hot food! The iced drinks weren't hot!! Haha! There is a bit of a challenge in the parking lot. I absolutely love this place, so glad there is a Gilbert location now! Visited the drive thru...Got the matcha latte, a large has 1.5 scoops of matcha. I rounded it up to 4 scoops and it was perfect, in the future I would personally ask for half the sweetness as well. I also got the OG delux açaí bowl, it is my favorite açaí bowl I've ever had. I have a tree nut allergy so I greatly appreciate that they don't use cashew milk or anything similar. The hemp seeds are just such a nice touch too. Staff are super friendly also. read more

If you have never tried better buzz, think "speakeasy" of the coffee industry.. you know how you go to a speakeasy and they aren't just bartenders they are mixologists.. that's the best way to describe Better Buzz coffee.. so many natural flavors INFUSED in their coffee!! My absolute favorite is the Coconut Best Drink Ever -- if you love coconut, you HAVE to try this drink!! The coconut flavor is so fresh tasting, I swear they are in the back cracking open the coconuts and infusing fresh coconut. All of their flavors are this way!! I've also had the Matcha (amazing!), their Chai, & other best drink ever flavors! You really can't go wrong. OH!! And they have açaí bowls, smoothies & breakfast sandwiches!!! Egg & Cheese on a Croissant is my usual.. soooo goood!!! But I have also had their Caprese Sandwich, no clue how they get the bread THAT SOFT. It's sooo good. As a designer, I am also scoping out the design and decor of restaurants I go to, and they did an amazing job transforming this space (...if you had been to this location before it was an amazing coffee shop, you already know). This San Diego based coffee shop just opened yesterday and it was delicious!!!!! We absolutely loved the warm welcome we received from staff and the service was great, everyone was very knowledgeable and helped us to order our drinks since it was a new menu for us. They have tons of food options, avocado toast, sandwiches, and lots of pastries. I didn't see anything gluten free but I didn't ask them specifically for that bread but I didn't see anything gluten free GF pastries. They have a huge menu of coffees, teas and specialty drinks. The only sad thing was that I ordered my husband an Americano and he said the coffee tasted terrible, but we absolutely loved our pumpkin chai and our snickerdoodle latte. Stopped by the Better Buzz Coffee in Gilbert and had a great quick visit. When I walked in, the team was singing happy birthday to a customer in the lobby which immediately set a fun, welcoming vibe. It is always nice to see a place where the staff actually brings energy to the room. I grabbed an everything bagel and a Liquid Death. The bagel was fresh and toasted perfectly and it made for a simple, satisfying bite. Sometimes that straightforward combo just hits the spot. Service was fast, the team was upbeat, and the whole place had a great atmosphere. Definitely one of those stops that reminds you why Better Buzz has such a loyal following. read more
