This was my first visit to Mochinut, I really enjoyed the cute decor. They have cute murals and flashy neon lights inside. The service was quick and cashier was friendly. I ordered a matcha boba drink but I wish I could have controlled the sweetness level like many other boba cafes. It was wayyyy too sweet so I only drank half of it unfortunately. Not my favorite boba spot but the donuts are delicious and fun to look at! Parking was a breeze because they have a huge lot outside of the cafe. Hard to see the location from the road since Beach Blvd is a big road but they have a sign outside of their building to help with locating it.

Definitely unique and pleasing, appetizing mochi donuts . The inside is bright and colorful with inside and outside seating. There are so many flavors to choose from. The corn dogs are awesome. The staff is very helpful and friendly . They brought our orders out to the outside tables.

Delicious mochi donuts that are tangy and lightly sweet and fresh. Even though we went late in the evening, they still had a lot of donuts and still tasted fresh. The workers were very nice and helped explain the deals and flavors as well. The purple ube drinks was sweet and potatoey and tasted pretty rich. The boba was nice and chewy.

True to its name, it's really more than just a donut, it's a combination of your regular donut and Mochi. And unlike your typical donut, it's chewy and not that sweet which gave me a pass to order my favorite Brown Sugar Milk Tea served in a unique container. The ins and out of people are non-stop either for dine-in/outside seating or to go. They also offer a selection of flavoured hotdogs on stick and corn dogs, which is also something to look forward to on my next visit.

Today's flavors! Remember they change daily!

Really neat place! Bright colors, very happy setting. I know this is a random small detail buuut they have glitter on their walls and well I'm obsessed I've been seeing so many people talk about it so decided to try it! Very friendly staff, willing to answer any questions and patient while I looked over the menu. We ordered a box of three mochinuts - milk pebble, raspberry sprinkles and the churro. Their flavors change daily and I'm very excited to see what flavors they have next time! We also couldn't go without trying a crispy ramen mozzarella hotdog!!! It was as delicious as it sounds! Plenty of sauces to choose for dipping I went with the sweet chili! If I was a spicy girl I'd definitely try the blue takis mozzarella dog because it looks fun!

Donuts: Top row L to R: mango chocolate, ube with fruity pebbles, Nutella with m&m's Bottom row L to R: matcha almond, churro, strawberry funnel cake I've been wanting to go since they opened!! The line was popping the whole time I was there, but I got my order pretty quickly! Mochinut donuts have a chewy and light texture. They were all good, but my favorites were the Ube and mango. I also got a brown sugar boba, which was honestly not great -- not a ton of brown sugar and milk heavy. But I'd go back for the donuts!! I believe they have flavor rotations, so I want to try more the next time I'm in the area!

Ever since watching Jenny's Kitchen I've wanted to try the potato half and half. When my friends said the Mochinut was opening close by I had to try it. The potato half and half is half mozzarella, half hotdog and it's fried with potatoes on the outside. The menu calls it rice hotdog. I really like it! It's sweet(ish) and savory at the same time. I had to try a Mochi donut while there, people were walking out with boxes of the mochi donut. Honestly, it wasn't bad just different. I was raised on KK donuts so having a heavier donut was different. It was thicker but when I broke off the bubble bits and ate it that way it was good. A lot of people were getting the boba too but I already had a drink in my car, I'll try that next time. Mochinut just opened on Beach so it was receiving the new and fresh clientele, it was packed while I was there. I sat in to eat my rice dog. They have 4 tables and a long bar counter inside plus outdoor covered seating. As I sat in my car to finish the review people were still streaming in. It's definitely in my return to list.

We all enjoyed our first visit at Mochinut! The mochi-donuts were delicious! They were freshly made so they were soft. I love that the donuts are not too sweet. We ordered the blueberry l, matcha and guava. I enjoyed all the flavors. I just wish that they will add more flavor options as they only do 6 per day and it changes. The service was a bit slow, there was a long wait even thou there were a lot of staff inside. The place has limited chairs and tables inside but has few extra outdoor seating. I will still come back to this place and will definitely try out other mochinut flavors and their boba drinks and rice hotdog

Today was the grand opening! How exciting! They had two lion dancers and fire crackers it was quite the show. I got there at 11:30 and there was already a line! They did amazing on their advertising. Luckily they lived up to their ads. I ordered the half cheese half hotdog potato Korean dog, a matcha mochi donut, and a matcha tea. And I'll admit. That was too much food for me. Anyway the Korean cheese and hotdog was magnificent. I had a literal foot of cheese pull. The hotdog unlike normal Korean hot dogs are made of pork rather than fish, so if you're halal keep mind of this. They also have a nice selection of sauces to the side. Hotdog (5/5) Their teas are premixed so you can't ask for decreased sugar, but the cans you get them in are very trendy and perfectly Instagram able. It also already comes with boba. Boba is nice and chewy, but the tea was much too sweet for me. (3/5) Their mochi donuts were amazing! My friends and I got all different flavors so we could try a little of each. In total we got matcha, cookies and creme, churro, and raspberry funnel cake. My personal opinion: matcha is the best, then cookies and creme, churro, then funnel cake. I didn't get to try.the strawberry pocky or ube. But it was all wonderful none the less. You also see the employees making them fresh in the back. Both the hotdogs and the donuts. (5/5) It's a cute restaurant and they have photo ops everywhere in the store. I particularly love the LED lights in the flower wall. They have both indoor seats, bar seats, and outdoor seating, so there's quite the selection. Overall a wonderful experience and a shining grand opening!

First visit with my boys and my mom. Love how they have different flavors of doughnuts I think everyday or weekly. We ordered each a different doughnut flavor and 3 of the cheese dogs(I know not correct name lol). I can definitely say the doughnuts were my favorite. They are so fresh, light and beyond delicious. When you walk in they gave us an amazing greeting and the ambiance is so cute. Definitely had to get a picture of my boys at the side table under the sign.

Ok ok. Had to update my review because they're getting it together. We didn't get corn dogs but had donuts. Much better with the icing to donut ratio. Service friendly and super quick.

I was so lucky to have my first mochi doughnut years ago and became a huge mochi doughnut fan! I was so excited when they finally opened a Mochinut in Jax! (I've had Mochinut before and I'm pretty sure they have one in Orlando too.) We probably get at least a dozen every month. This Mochinut is located in the middle of a plaza on Beach Boulevard. It's easy to drive by if you aren't looking for it and it's surrounded by other Asian and Hispanic businesses. The store is fairly small inside but is nicely decorated for those IG photos and has a fair amount of seating and outside to accommodate dining customers. But, honestly, they are convenient for taking home or eating in the car! LOL! The line can be long but the staff moves through the line quickly. The mochi doughnuts, themselves are made pretty fresh and you can catch them making them behind the counter all the time. The are normally about 6 to 12 flavors to choose from and they "change them weekly" but it's really closer to bi-weekly so you don't have to feel as rushed to try all the flavors because I feel like they don't hold up well overnight. They also serve "Korean dogs" which is essentially corn dogs or mozzarella sticks served on a stick. I like the one that's crusted in ramen and I always do half dog half cheese but be warned that Mochinut does it top half and bottom half. There are a few condiments you can choose from to top your Korean dog. And, of course, they serve boba beverages... which are the pretty standard flavors and whatnot. Overall, like many things, this is a hit or miss for most... either you're into it or you're not. I love them and think it's a nice fun little treat.

Mochinut has officially been open one full week. I visited this location off beach Blvd this past Wednesday or Thursday. There was a small line upon entry just after lunch. The line moved kinda slow but I think like me, it was everyone's first time here so no one really knew what to order. It's to be expected. The menu was on two tv's the first part of me standing in line which was nice, I could look up and kinda decide what I want to order or at least have an idea by the time I get to the counter. Not long after, the manager or owner came out to the tv's and switched them to regular tv, so no more menu. When I get to the order counter, I think it was the girls first day behind the register. I had to repeat my order a few times as she's asking the manager how to ring said object in, still getting the items wrong (which display on your side so you can see) I get it, it's still new, totally okay. I ordered 3 donuts, = $10, and one boba tea which all range around $7-$8 dollars. Tipped $1. So total for 3 donuts and 1 boba drink was $19-$20. I feel like that's very high. I know prices these days are high but, for me not knowing the quality of these items yet, that's high. For parlor donuts further down on beach, I will gladly pay the high price knowing the donut I get in return is not only large, but delicious. Good bang for your buck. I asked if there is an option to adjust the sweetness on the tea - the manager replied no. He asked if boba or cheese cap was okay, I said yes as long as it is not an extra charge. From the picture below, you can see there is hardly any boba in the actual drink, and I don't see the cheese cap. This is also a picture of the drink unopened as well. The soda top lid on the boba drink was a cool feature, I did like that. The flavor of the ube and brown sugar drink was okay and not overly sweet. It was still too sweet for my liking but I did appreciate it's not overkill. The small amount of boba I got was alright. I don't know how fresh the boba was but if I came again, I'd skip ordering boba tea all together. Not my favorite. The donuts consistency was doughy and fresh. My favorite or the three was the matcha. Now the icing though... very thick, very sticky. It was not light and pillowy like the donut. Those two combinations didn't really add up to me. Soft fresh donut with paste like icing. The sweetness level was great for the donuts. Also not overkill with the sugar. I just was not a fan of the consistency of the icing. Would not order the caramel or cookies and cream flavor again. The original donut looks like the icing for that one could be thinner and less tacky, I might try that one if I decide to go back. The ambiance of this place was very normal. Bright colors, on brand with a lot of mochi donut places. I got Tsaocaa vibes with this whole design. The led lights, clock on the wall, drawings, everything definitely looked like someone within the store did this or made this. It's all sourced by someone here I'm sure. Nothing wrong with that at all. I liked all of the colors. I did notice as soon as I opened the door and stepped in, it felt like there was no ac on. It was stale and muggy in here. It's also early March, so no high temp heat yet as far as Fl goes. This immediately made me want to order and take everything outside. It was cramped with the line and people at the tables plus hot inside. Hopefully it was just something going on that day and not the shops norm to not have some kind of air circulation running. If I could sum this all up with a very cringey Gen Z term - it's Mid. The decor was done quick or cheap like, the donuts are pretty and so are the drinks, but they aren't special tasting, and the service and vibes in the shop could be better. I definitely think $20 for one drink and three donuts is far too much for the quality in return. Hopefully this is all just first week issues, and the store will work to improve on all of these topics. I do hope they last here once the hype of a new small business in Jax wears off. All issues are small but, issues in every dept it seems.

We had a gang meet up that included Goldie, Jimmy, Lea, Loan and myself. We get together each month to try a new restaurant, and of course, to enjoy each other's company. It's been a while since I had a Vietnamese meal and when I go, I'm always stuck on ordering something of the Vermicelli variety. Yep! That's what I did on this day. First off, I have to say that quality of the fresh veggies - lettuce, carrots, cucumber, etc., along with peanuts, were the best in freshness status I've ever seen in just about any restaurant. Between the appearance and the taste, they stand alone in this category. I wasn't worried about having the rolls with this meal, so I chose the B1a - grilled shrimp and pork. As a full bowl, the appearance and quality of the toppings over the noodles was stellar. The pork was chewy, but not in the range of the impossible to deal with. Just something that people who have difficulty chewing might wish to be aware of. There were three large pieces of shrimp that were tasty but a tad overcooked - not enough in any way to drop my score. With the fish sauce mixed, along with the bowl, it turned out to be a fantastic meal! Loan recommended we visit Q-Cup Boba Tea and it was totally worth visit! I will say that Loan's, Goldie's, jimmy's and Lea's offerings looked pretty amazing as well. The sub sandwich and beef cuts on Jimmy's meal looked superb! May have to try that one someday. My wife told me to ask for a plate, and I got one, so we learned something useful for the future. They did forget the pie for our order, but gave us one no problem when I went up and asked for it. My wife reports that the ladies' room faucet no longer slashes all over the place. However both bathrooms still serve only one person at a time. Install some stalls! There was a wait for the men's bathroom. I didn't manage to get any loyalty points for this visit: I couldn't find a 23-digit code to enter on the web site. It wasn't on the receipt; I read that it's on a small slip of paper printed after your receipt, but I don't believe we got one. Next time I'll have to order from the web or app, provide my phone number when I order, or scan the QR code in the app at the register to make sure I get points.
