I heard of this place on IG and I just had to try it. They had a pretty decent sized menu of food and drinks. I ended up getting the chicken bowl and coconut smoothie with boba. The chicken bowl had popcorn chicken, rice, slices of avocado, salad, and a few pickles. I thought it was really good and the chicken paired well with the pickles. I did like the amount of rice and salad as well. The coconut smoothie had the perfect amount of sweetness for my tastes. The staff was pleasant and my order was cooked on the spot and took just under 10 minutes. I didn't notice in the logo that it had the monkey king, which the restaurant was sparingly decorated with him and a set of wings you can pose with which was fun. I definitely will be coming back to try there other food.
I have been to OMG cafe and tea a few times now. I come whenever I am wanting a crepe bc the omg crepe is so good. The amount of fruit you get for the price is unbelievableI normally get a taro milk tea but decided to get a dirty milk tea today which is their version of a brown sugar milk tea and it was amazing. Place is clearly owned by a family bc the same people are always working and they are always so nice. It's impressive to have only three people working for a place and staying open every day! I just want them to know they are doing a great job. The smell in the store would be the only downfall but it's honestly not horrible (I'm just pregnant with heightened smell)
My daughter and I were in the area and she wanted tea. I located this place on the Yelp app. We checked out the menu and reviews and decided to come here. Super easy to find using the directions from the app. When we arrived I almost left though due to the odor , I am not sure what the smell was but there but only seemed to be present when you were inside the tea house. My daughter wanted to stay so we ordered to go. I had the fruit tea, it had good flavor but I would have preferred later pieces of fruit as the smaller pieces were getting stuck in the straw. My daughter had a crepe and milk tea with boba. She wasn't a fan of the tea, she said it was bland. She enjoyed her crepe with the bananas and strawberries.
Look at this cute little guy. Really zoom in and check out the details. Believe it or not, this is ice cream. This is the OMG Puppy from OMG Cafe on Beach Blvd. Its chocolate flavored ice cream molded into the shape of this cute little bulldog/shar pei shape. Almost too cute to eat...Almost.
Got the Omg Puppy!! The ice cream mold of this cute puppy looked professionally done! I felt bad eating the lil doggo but the chocolate ice cream was really delicious! There were even some white chocolate chips inside! Tip: The puppy is a little solid at first and isn't easy to eat with a plastic spoon, so waiting a little will help the ice cream soften up! Enjoy :)
Disappointing. Dirty Milk Tea was made more of milk than black tea based so it tastes like watered down sugary milk with hard bobas. Green Apple slush was overly sweet. My friend and I ended up l driving to a different boba cafe instead /: waste of $15 Workers were nice tho!
OMG just good to describe them. This is about 3.75 stars dessert place because of the unique of the ice cream. Other than than that, it is just normal dessert place. We were attracted because of the ice cream shaped. We got the puppy ice cream. I think is too cute to eat them. For the quantity is not really worth the price but for the look, it definitely a great experience. I wish the fish come with some fruit or dressing. We got the white chocolate peach flavor. The ice cream is delicious. The mold of the puppy dog is exquisite.
A cute a little place. Their location is not very good. The takoyaki is...also not very good. To me, the ideal takoyaki had a slight crisp to it, followed by warm umami. This is just doughy and slightly chewy. Both the texture and flavor are kinda different from your standard takoyaki, in a bad way. It doesn't seem to use your typical takoyaki sauce? But has some sort of white sauce? Don't see any green onion nor taste any ginger, which might be warranted in this case since the flavor is weak. It's hard to even taste or feel the octopus in this. I wonder if it actually has any... Okay, I'm sorry. I'm done dunking on the takoyaki. I still gave them 4 stars because they're mostly trying to sell bubble tea, and the one I got was pretty good. Although, I think I'm pretty easy to please here. It's a blueberry bubble tea, with a nice consistency and not too sweet. As far as fruits go, I do tend to like a lot of blueberry things. They're not as cloyingly sweet as some other fruits and have a bit of a....can I call it a darker taste? It's like the dark chocolate of sweet fruits. Hehe.
I went to this boba spot for years, moved further away and now I've been ordering from them for years. It is ALWAYS on point. The quality is consistent and they always listen to my special requests! I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for tasty boba. Let me not forget the indoor seating area is absolutely adorable!
Quirky but cute little cafe with the cutest drinks and crepes. Feel Lille your in Japan with the cute drink smoothies and cutest sculpted yummy desserts. Location - 12192 Beach Blvd Unit 2 Jacksonville, FL 32246 Interior- since the situation with social distancing and covid we were only able to see the entrance of the cafe. Cute and simple with a Sakura tree painting on the wall and greenery on the walls. Also they have a funny weird statue of a monkey king. Lol you would actually have to see it to understand. Vibe- cute for a small group get together Drinks and food- I got the pink lover creative mix with delicious strawberry and milky cream with a touch of strawberry jelly cubes. It was delicious and the thermal cup they put it in was super cute. We also had the banana and strawberry filled crepes which were so delicious and smooth with every bite. Not too sweet just perfect. Service - helpful, informative and kind. This place has it all!
OMG is the perfect name for this place! I had other errands to run, so I could not get the Puppy Ice Cream, but it looked amazing. Their strawberry soda with lychee jelly added was very refreshing. The Japanese dumplings were nicely steamed, soft and not dried out, with a drizzle of sauce.
Been here a few times now and am finally ready to post a review. Someone said this place was "hit or miss" and I would agree. When there aren't many folks in the lobby, everything is pretty good. When there are a lot of folks, that's when you start getting some inconsistent products and the wait time starts getting extremely long. But come on a quiet, slow time and you're likely to be pretty happy with your order. Out of all the boba places in Jax, this place for sure has the best tasting (and best textured!) boba hands down. The owners are super friendly and were happy to talk to us about the various boba "grades". They have game board options for you while you wait too... super helpful when your wait is extended for sure.

Wowza! I finally made it back here. Been trying to get here forever & a day! The sweet owner and maybe her Mom were there to make my drink. I chose the Mango milk tea with Boba. I also have always admired the cute little ice cream puppies. They have different ice cream flavors. I have the chocolate flavored one. She also has appetizers and meals available. Cooked fresh to order. She is also expecting a baby girl, so please go give her some love and support. I will try an appetizer and meals available next time I go, which will be soon. I love the cute and cozy decorations. Pros: the tea was perfect for a chilly day, clean bathroom, the cutest little ice cream puppy, fast and friendly service. Cons:none. Went to Japanese store and saw this bubble tea shop next to it. It was a nice little shop with snacks, gyoza (they called it japanese dumpling), bubble teas, and ice cream. I ordered ING puppy strawberry ice cream. My daughter was hysterical when I cut it into pieces. Lol. The ice cream was very hard to cut into, a 5 yr old won't be able to cut it lol will need adult intervention. The drinks was ok, wish they give option of how much sugar/ice cause it's too sweet. We ordered strawberry milk tea and taro milk tea. Lastly the tax they charged kinda high. They have a sign by the register that there will be 4% fee if under $15. Our order came up to $18 something but we ended paying over $22 read more

I really wanted to love this place. It's undeniably cute -- there's a Monkey King statue in the back and a wing mural that makes for a fun photo op (though the area was mostly covered by a kids' play area when I visited). It's clearly a true local Asian family-run spot, and I always want to support that. That said, the food and drinks just didn't hit the mark for me. We tried the ice cream dog, takoyaki, fruit iced tea, and Thai coffee. The ice cream was oddly hard, not easy to eat. The takoyaki was bland and didn't taste traditional -- more like doughy balls without much flavor. The fruit tea was watered down, and the Thai coffee was way too sweet without much depth. What keeps this from being rated lower is the service. The people running it are incredibly kind and welcoming -- they clearly care and want to create a cozy, community-driven space. That warmth really shines and makes you want to root for them. If you're going just for food or drinks, it might not wow you. But if you're here to support a sweet local business and hang out in a playful, creative space, it still has value. read more

Took my son here today for the first time. Delicious drinks and great service. They took the time to help me decide what to get and explain the menu. The OMG drink is brown sugar flavored and so delicious. Also the Dreamer is so good. We definitely want to come back here again. read more

First of all, I loved it when one of the staff members said to me that he really wanted me to try something new and if I didn't like it, they would make me something else. He went on to explain that the owner wants customers to be satisfied so that they'll return and if they get something they don't love, they won't be back. I fully agree. Needless to say, we started out on the right foot here. The employees working on a Friday night took their time to review the menu with me and then they suggested I get the Golden Lover after I inquired about it. They described it as a mango drink topped with cheese that would remind me of yogurt. The drink was beautiful, nearly golden indeed in color as the name suggests. I added boba and they added mango fruit jelly. They told me to stir it up and while I tried, the density of the cheese kept it rising to the top. Nonetheless, it was good - not too sweet or icy. It was a very light and easy sip. For $3.75, I thought the price was reasonable. In addition to their drink menu, OMG offers several food options such as takoyaki and crepes, and they have milkshakes and ice cream, including the puppy. The interior is very simple with ample seating and they offer board games for customers to enjoy as well as customer-selected music through an Amazon echo. read more
My new favorite spot for bubble tea in Jacksonville. My go to drink is the OMG tea brothers but the Taiwan milk tea is a close second too. The pearls here are pretty consistent in terms of taste and texture and I love that the OMG tea brothers drink has other jellies in the drink as well. In terms of the tea, it's just how I like it: milky with a hint of sweetness. The drinks here a reasonable priced and they have other options on the menu such as ice cream and crepes. I have not yet tried the food but I'm a frequent visitor for the bubble tea. They have a punch card system that gives you discounts the more visits you have. Jacksonville is popping up with numerous boba places around & OMG Cafe doesn't disappoint. OMG Cafe proudly serves their boba with pride and quality ingredients. The boba is well made! I have debates about the perfect boba texture and my description is as follows: when you sink your teeth in, it MUST have a jello texture, followed by soft mush but NOT too sticky to where the boba sticks to your molars for more than .5 seconds . THAT'S My type of boba. And I must say, they executed this texture brilliantly during my second visit. Will they be consistent? Who knows? We love this little cafe. The owners are super sweet. My daughters asked for a boba tea after their swim lessons so we stopped by. Not only do they have a variety of boba teas and smoothies, but they also have savory food, crepes, and ice cream. I ordered the taro tea, my youngest had a strawberry and banana smoothie, husband ordered the rainforest drink and my oldest ordered the golden lover mango drink. My oldest also asked to order a snack and went with their fried chicken. Just like the name of their cafe, OMG, the fried chicken was amazing! Cooked and seasoned perfectly! It was served in a to go box with toothpicks. Convenient way to take it to go. It was also served with a delicious plum sauce to dip it in. We highly recommend! read more

I've forgotten about this place and was feeling for their OMG chicken. I decided to try the OMG crepe as well. The crepe is filled with strawberries and bananas but decided to go with Nutella instead of cream as a filler. Glad I did! Food is great! I'm only missing rice lol! read more

This place was so awesome! I ordered the Purple Majesty ice cream--and although it wasn't on the menu, I asked them if they could substitute the cream with almond milk (they were happy to do so)! My daughter ordered the OMG puppy (sooo cute)! My son ordered the strawberry ice cream and loved it! The price range for items was between $3.75 - $10. The atmosphere was relaxed & very family friendly. There were a variety of board games, a baby play area and they gave customers the option to tell Alexis what music to play! The kids sang & danced while eating their ice cream! This was a great place. Oh, and they are open until 11:15--awesome for a late night snack!! read more
After a long day of shopping with my daughter. We wanted Boba! Found this on Yelp under Hot and new. I got the Red Bean Milk Tea . My daughter ordered the Taro. They were very helpful answering our questions in the menu. The milk tea is really good and we also ordered the crepe. This is a great place to stop by for a nice snack and treat ! You're welcomed in with a Monkey dressed in a red suit . You can also asks Alexa to play what ever music you want to hear. This place is amazing !!! read more

Match milk tea and takoyaki! Delicious! Normally takoyaki has a smooth potato-like filling but these are more of a breading, and they add corn into theirs. Topped with kewpie mayo and Bonito flakes! The matcha flavor of the milk tea is lovely! read more

I was very luck to stumbled across the OMG Cafe. Primary a dessert spot with milk tea, milkshake and ice cream. However, I enjoyed both the crepe and the Takoyaki, as I was looking for more of a lunch. Both where very unique and enjoyable. Takoyaki is a delicious corn and seafood dumpling that is unlike anything I have seen in Jacksonville, I would highly recommend this for snack. I also had the Golden Lover mixed beverage which was out s Well priced, great service. I will be back to try the rest of the menu. read more

First time here, I found this little gem hiding in a plaza. I love boba tea, the inside was cute and cozy I loved the colors and ambience of the place. I ordered a taro milk tea which was amazingly yummy and there are a bunch of super cute treats and yummy drinks. This cafe's decor is really nice and clean. The tables light up and there's a really cute photo place. They also have Alexa and let the customers have free rein over the music. My friend really had fun with choosing the music. My friends and I came and each got a different drink: Blue Sky, Taro Milk Tea, Banana Milkshake, and OMG Tea Brothers. I really love how they do their tapioca pearls. It's sweet and chewy and went really well with my Taro Milk Tea. The Taro was not too sweet and really captured that original Taro flavor. My favorite drink was actually the Blue Sky. It reminded me of a Korean childhood drink: Milkis. The OMG Tea Brothers has a really healthy taste and the Banana Milkshake is what you'd expect it to be. The staff is also really nice and attentive. They truly care about the drinks they make and answered all the questions we had for them. read more

Came in on a sunday, it was just me and my husband at first then came another couple. We ordered the oreo milk tea and the fruit crepe. My husband got his drink 10 mins later and I got my crepe approx 30 mins later. The drink is tasty and boba has a good consistency. My crepe was chewy I thought I was eating Naan. The ambiance is interesting but fun (just felt creeped out by that monkey statue). Will we drive 35 mins just to come here again? definitely not. The service was friendly it just took forever. If it was close by us I would get the milk tea but leave that crepe alone for sure. read more

The inside was very cute. The menu was a little overwhelming and confusing. I had the taro boba tea, it was pretty decent. Not the beat boba I've ever had but it satisfied my boba craving. The puppy ice cream was a lot smaller than expected. Mine came in a plastic Tupperware. I saw other reviews that came with fruits and popping boba, but maybe I ordered the wrong one. I felt wrong eating a dog lol! read more

This place is OMG Amazing! From the rolled ice cream to the more savory dishes, like the Japanese dumplings, there is something for everyone! I've had the dirty milk tea and I've also had Fruit Tea!! Both were so light and refreshing!! Not many places were open New Years Day, so we took our sweet girly here for her birthday and it was a blast!!! read more

First time visiting OMG Cafe & Tea. The employees here are very helpful and kind. The place is very nice and clean. I got myself a Taro Boba and Milk Tea Boba. They both taste incredibly good! Right now, they have a special of Buy 1, Get 1 Free for their Back to School Celebration Special that ends this Sunday (Aug.11). With the special you need to go their social media on Facebook or Instagram, follow the directions given, in order redeem the offer. Would definitely come back again! :) read more
