Under new management, and it definitely shows! I absolutely love this place. The mochi donuts are always soft, chewy, and fresh, and they have a huge variety of flavors and drinks to choose from. My personal favorites are the Glaze and Churro--they never disappoint! The door delivery option makes it super convenient when I'm craving a sweet treat, and it's just a few taps away. I was very disappointed with my expirerence here. The first thing I noticed was how the atmosphere is not welcoming at all. It just didn't feel welcoming and kind of felt cluttered and unfinished, like a space that wasn't really meant for customers to hang out in. Also went to use the restroom and there was tons of inventory in the restroom I don't know how sanitary that is. Everything also felt overpriced for what you get. The drinks were a big letdown. They tatsed artificial and like they just mixed it with water. Ube drink is also inconsistent one time it tasted good but this time it just tasted like tap water. They are located in Loma Linda at a shopping center in the corner of Redlands Blvd and Anderson St. When we get there I could see inside the mochi donuts on display and could smell that they were made fresh. Ordered: churro flavor and matcha pistachio mochi donuts. The churro flavor was really good and tasted like a churro. The Matcha Pistachio was another good one and could taste the pistachio. The both donuts were soft and chewy and enjoyed both textures. My overall was good and definitely would come back to try other different flavors. It's really nice to know that they are so much aware of all kinds of allergens that might affect consumers! Nothing really special about the taste of cheese completely coated with potato pieces but I found myself liking to keep taking more and more bites (texture maybe?) Adding catsup changes the combo flavor (not bad ). Dip it with garlic Parmesan sauce and taste transform into like eating a pizza (amazing! - my opinion) Mango/peach boba drink to wash the pallet not a bad idea. I've been here about three times over the last couple of months, and every time I go to bb.q Chicken next door, I make sure to stop here too. The mochi donuts are delicious with that chewy texture that makes them so good, and we usually also get a couple Korean hot dogs, always half cheese and half sausage. We usually pair them with the chicken and rosé tteokbokki from next door and dip the hot dogs in the tteokbokki sauce, which is an amazing combo. We've gone back several times because everything together is just so good. We've had it for dinner and even brought it to a party, and it has always been a hit. The food is the reason to come. It is consistently good and always satisfying. Service has been mixed but generally fine. Most of the staff are teenagers, so it feels pretty standard and casual. One of our earlier visits was a little uncomfortable because the employee helping us seemed distracted and it was hard to get his attention while ordering. Other than that, service has been okay overall. Sometimes it is minimal, sometimes more friendly, but the food always comes out good. The store itself is just okay. It feels a little dingy, and the furniture/layout seems awkward, almost like more of a pickup spot than a place to sit and stay for a while. Still, the food keeps us coming back. read more

DO-NUT SLEEP ON THIS! Mochinut has a flavorful selection of Mochi Donut options that are a pleasure on the palate. I tried the Ube/coconut and original glazed donuts this visit. I liked both but, but the clear winner was the glazed (I could've had five more) haha. I also tried their grapefruit orange refresher and it was fine, i felt hydrated at least. A mochi donut is essentially little lumps of mochi (Japanese rice cakes) formed into a donut shape and fried. The texture is chewy but tasty. I saw cool flavors like cookies and cream, almond, and more. I definitely want to return and try the rest. Oh and I guess they serve mochi corn dogs too!! The place is a tad gimicky as the prices are bit overboard. For two donuts and a refresher it was almost $15 and that was just for me! I guess you're paying for a specialty item? Their hot dogs are so good! They are fully cooked and piping hot. The variety is also great. We got the half and half and it was a great combination of flavors. They offer several different sauces to help give it that extra boost, but honestly we were happy with just the ketchup. The mozzarella cheese pull is lovely as well. I docked a star because their mochinut is just not good. We tried 4 different flavors and they lacked in all categories. The flavors were bland and it was incredibly chewy. If you're a fan of this type of donut where it's more on the chewy side than you might like it, but our family did not. I guess we just prefer the traditional donut. We got 3 dark chocolate nuts , 3 ube coconut, 3 plain glazed, and 3 Nutella with sprinkles. The drinks were a hit not too sweet good flavor and the boba was cooked correctly. The Mochinut doughnuts were good but not worth 2.50 each definitely not $ 30 dollars good. The hot Cheeto mozzarella sticks and hot Cheeto half n half mozzarella corn dog sticks...We're a big miss! My kids ate them but said they'd definitely pass on these. They accidentally gave us an extra one I'm assuming or maybe hooked it up because when we opened up the package there were 6 instead of 5.
