Overall good experience. I haven't been in since the remodel has been done, increasing the seating area. I really appreciate all of the extra space! We went at a perfect time, before the line went almost out the door. Our food was just okay. We kept it simple with a bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich (which was fine) and a sausage, egg, & cheese sandwich. The sausage seems to have just been warmed. We wish it would have been cooked on a flat top or something similar. We both tried new iced coffees. Caramel Coconut Latte and the Billy Buster. The latte was lightly flavored with actual coconut pieces inside. We weren't sure whether to get the Billy Buster hot or iced; the cashier recommended iced. When sipping the coffee through the straw, chunks of peanut butter were coming up and separating in my mouth, leaving an odd texture. I attempted to stir the drink as much as possible, but was only able to finish a 1/4 of it. I'm wondering if hot would have been better for the blending of the peanut butter into the drink?! I usually love this spot! But unfortunately today we had to wait 30+ minutes for our food despite the short line to order. Once my friend and I went back up to the cashier I was then given my cold sandwich and my friend's iced tea order was skipped over. Another couple in our group had something wrong with their order as well. Despite the longer wait times the food tastes and quality is still amazing which is all that matters in the end. Definitely Coming Back! My first time here, and I already know it won't be my last! A friend recommended this spot after our hike, and I'm so glad she did. Bri greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcome right away. She took the time to make some recommendations, and honestly, she didn't miss! I tried a little of everything, from the coffee and sandwiches to the banana bread, and everything was delicious. The place was busy, but it still had that warm, inviting Redlands feel. There's seating both inside and outside, along with games if you want to hang out and make it a whole vibe. We dropped by right before closing this Valentine's Day Saturday for a post-dinner treat. The hot Vanilla and Lavender lattes were exceptional; perfectly balanced espresso and steamed milk. I appreciated the extra care in the latte art; it was perfect for today. We also loved the Jam Thumbprint Shortbread and Biscotti; both were fresh and hit the right level of sweetness. I ordered an iced Matcha with Lavender syrup, a turkey and sun-dried tomato panini and a peanut butter, chocolate chip, cookie. The Matcha with lavender was wonderful and their syrups are freshly made. They have some very unique syrup flavors as well. The drink was delicious and I would ask for more syrup next time to make it a bit sweeter. The turkey sandwich was amazing and loved the sun-dried tomato cream cheese. You also get a side, your choice of bread, and how you'd like it made for your sandwiches (toasted, natural, panini etc) . Love me some options! The chocolate cookie was large, fresh, and delicious with no weird chemical aftertaste. Food and drink were on point! As for the overall atmosphere, the shop could use some cleaning. The bathrooms needed some cleaning attention, and one of the paper dispensers nearly fell off the wall trying to get a paper towel. Tables needed wiping down and when we got there, one table (inside) was extremely dirty and had sunflower seed shells all over the floor, so we opted to sit outside. This place is almost always packed and bit loud inside, but if you linger for a bit someone is usually getting up as you get there so you'll get a seat fairly soon. I like to sit outside where it's a bit more spread out and not as noisy. Service is always friendly, and even though there's a long line most of the time, it goes by pretty fast. They have a good chai tea latte (not the best, but good - a bit too sweet for my taste), but my go to has been a blood orange kombucha with a ginger molasses cookie. The kombucha is really tasty, but I warn you that it's 8% alcohol, so a bit potent to have too many of. The ginger molasses cookie is super yummy, just the right amount of sweet and spice. Their wine selection is extremely limited, having only a canned pinot noir and a chardonnay, which is why I get the kombucha. But they have a pretty good selection of draft beers if you like beer. I think for cons, this place is just consistently too packed and loud, they don't have wine, and they don't have wi-fi, so it's a good spot to read with your dog, but def not a work spot. read more

Stell is located in a flex business park complex. It's kind of an unusual location however, on the Sunday that we came it was busy. The line was out the door. The coffee was good, the atmosphere was great, and the breakfast menu was also pretty good. I order my usual latte and it's a medium roast and shared a breakfast sandwich. I committed epic Yelp fail by not taking pictures of any of it because we were just so busy chatting. The food is pretty standard in terms of early cafe. I was kind of expecting more of a brunch menu. Instead, it is mostly breakfast sandwiches and other cold cuts. I did order the namesake of the store, the Stell Club. For me, the food was average. I think the best part of the meal was the bread. It was crunchy and moist enough. The sandwich meats were definitely on the dry and salty side. I wonder if they were fresh cut. Similarly, there was some sauce but I did not notice it very much between the mayonnaise and other condiments inside the sandwich. I don't know if the idea is to make the sandwich extra salty so I'll buy more drinks. I would rate this place in the category of come here if you're starving, wait for a different place to open if possible. read more

This is my favorite spot in Redlands to meet friends, grab a drink, pastry, and food. They have such a variety in all that they have, that there is always something for everyone. I especially love their sandwiches (get them hot pressed with the rosemary garlic bread, you won't regret it) and their salad with their lemon vinaigrette. Surprisingly good! First time at Stell Coffee and I wasn't sure what to order, but the kind gentleman at the counter recommended their popular espresso with honey and cinnamon. It was tasty a solid 7/10 the iced green tea we ordered was definitely a 9/10! The sandwiches were great, the bread was soft inside with a nice crunch on the outside, really fresh. But the standout? That gluten free chocolate chip cookie. I've never had a GF cookie that fluffy and flavorful it didn't taste gluten free at all. Even my husband, who usually hates anything gluten free, was impressed. Guy just made my drink today with an open wound on his hand. No gloves on, and my ice touched his wound before going into my dDisgusting. Is the food handler's card for safe food handling not required anymore???? Today was another instance, asked for my drink to be remade, so they did. But then waited so long to give me the drink. I came in to order two coffees. The young girl at the register called me up but her friend was there to drop off an application. That appeared. The supervisor took the application and gave her a thumbs up. Then the girl waiting on me. Yeah, smiles and waves at her friend and talks to her. Then she takes my order. She gets two cups and sticks her hands inside the cups. Then she walks over and gives her friend a hug with her hands inside my coffee cups. I had to tell her excuse me but can I have two new cups without the hands in it? She complied but she wasn't very friendly about it. It's a nice location and they are actually currently expanding to the building next door, so it'll be great to have more space in here because it is popular and can get crowded! I usually end up having to wait 5-10 minutes in line before I order. Although today was about a 20-minute wait for food once you order. It can get a little pricey if you get a drink and food, but it won't disappoint! I do wish that their punch cards were a little bit better of a deal (free 16 oz drip coffee or $2 off any drink after 10 drink purchases). By the time you've bought 10 drinks (and I usually get food too, so each time I'm here I'm buying for 2-3 people which ends up being close to $60 each time), you've already spent close to $100, so if you don't drink coffee like me, then you're only getting $2 off of your drink once you finish the punch card. It seems to me like it should apply to any beverage and be a little better of an incentive for being a loyal customer. Their staff are super friendly and efficient. They have a great selection on their menu and I love how many options they have for teas! I usually get an iced matcha latte with oat milk and it is delicious. I love their sandwiches too.
