I had high hopes for these Korean corn dogs but the flavor was disappointing. Lacked flavor and tasted like grease with cheese. The staff was friendly and the coffee boba was delicious!!

This place is just ok :/ Honestly the corn dog had no flavor and kind of greasy, which is disappointing! Sonic mozzarella sticks have more flavor. It was made fresh and I enjoyed the sauces they provide, but I would not come back. My friends got the mochi donuts and they thought they were good, but overpriced. Coffee boba was 10/10 though

Update: Still my fave spot & of course still obsessed! The place is always amazing. The service is always outstanding. I love their cheddar bacon ranch kdog & fries as well... so good! My fave are their wings... the best! Love my mochi donuts too. My family loves Mochinut so much! Coming here is my happy place.

I love this spot. So cute and the food is delicious. We got a glazed, s'mores and ube mochinut trio as well as a strawberry boba float (literally amazing) and cheese fries with combo.

Y'ALL, drop what you're doing and head over to Mochinut in Metairie! I swear this is the best little afternoon pick me up/post shopping-errands/after dinner spot! There was such a diverse crowd on my visit and I am happy to see everyone loving Mochinut as much as I did! Despite the long lines, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They maintained their composure under stressful times and everyone's drinks/food came out in a timely manner. MOCHI DONUT: If you've never had a mochi donut before, then now is the time to do so!!! (You might not even want a regular donut again haha!) It's not too crispy on the outside and slightly chewy on the inside. The mochi donut shape is similar to a baby's teething toy, and is easy to break apart and share. I thoroughly enjoyed all the flavors but coconut pandan was my most fave. Variety is the spice of life - Mochinut changes donut flavors Thursdays & Sundays. You'll never be disappointed because of the weekly flavor SURPRISES! MOCHIBALL: I can't even describe how good these were! It's an elevated cream puff - definitely next level with the crispy exterior and light cream fillings. Cafe au lait & ube coconut were my faves. Korean corn dogs: Grab a sheet at the door to customize your corn dog order (my current faves: cheddar jalapeño with ramen & half mozz -half hot dog with potato). Yes, it takes time to get them out the kitchen but please be patient. I promise you they are well worth the wait and you will be spoiled silly from all the fried/hot/crunchy/deliciousness/goodness of this coveted corn dog. (You can forget about those old days of Sonic corn dogs). They even have a small selection of boba tea drinks in a cool looking transparent soda can. I didn't get a chance to try them yet but look forward to it on my next visit. The colorful storefront is open and inviting. The dining area can fill up pretty quickly on a busy night, but people did not seem to mind having to eat outside with limited seating. There is also a wall of Gachapon machines (coin operated toy/trinket vending machines- originating from Japan), which have the cutest little items (keychains/bracelets/etc). Overall, my first visit was a great one and I seriously cannot wait to come back and try more flavors! You will love it here and keep coming back for more! I heart Mochinut!!!

Visited this place twice so far and both times we just had the doughnuts. Although, the corndogs do look good. We usually just sit there and eat because the place has ample seating and is pretty clean. They offer bubble tea and all other forms of drinks ( lemonade. Coffee, tea, etc) . Even the box the doughnuts come in is adorable. We love going with the kids because of the toy dispensers they have across the side of the facility. While there are many, I didn't notice about 4 of them didn't work. The tokens to use these machines cost $2 for 1 token. The games range between 1 token to 4 tokens a play. So be prepared to have cash on you. I usually convert big notes but the cashier for smaller notes for the machine. I think that's that they have more of my cash in those machines than on their food .... Lol. The doughnuts itself is very flavorful and light. They have different flavors every time I have been. A few that I've tried were a cherry flavored one, churro flavor, cookies and cream , blueberry and strawberry. Do give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Hello there Mochinut! Conveniently located close to lakeside mall and everything else, this is on my list to drop by when in NOLA! The store is welcoming and super clean, puts you in a great mood for donuts as soon as you step inside! We got a dozen this time around and my favorite flavor was the Ube! I like mochi donuts as they are not as sweet as regular donuts and these taste, just right. Our drinks were good also and couldn't help to notice the super cute container they came in! I'll be back next time to try the hotdogs for sure!

The donuts have a bouncy texture, gluten-free, and are made with tapioca or rice flour. The treat is riding a wave of popularity across the nation. I had my first-ever Mochi donut at Mochinut Nola. They have a ton of options to choose from and a rotating menu. They also have Mochinut balls, an assortment of Korean-style corn dogs, a variety of milk teas and fruit lemonades in cute cans, soft-serve ice cream, french fries with creative seasonings, and a line of Japanese-style toy machines to occupy you while you wait. The store itself is bright and fun, with exciting designs throughout. The Ramen dog with cheese and sausage is a great treat if you want something heavier. They have rotational flavors often, so be sure to follow them on social media: https://instagram.com/mochinut_nola?igshid=YTQwZjQ0NmI0OA==.

This place is great I brought my fiancé around Valentine's Day and they had some cute Mochinuts. The vibe of this place is cute and colorful was missing a little bit more sound to make it more vibey, but very open and big. The service was amazing and it was quick and very helpful. And finally what we all come for which is the Korean Dogs and the Mochi donuts. They were all delicious it's a perfect mixture of being a donut and mochi. I've been to a few different places in NYC and I felt like some were jus the shape and others had too much mochi mix so we're really chewy. This had the perfect balance of a Krispy Kreme cloud Donut and Mochi with simple not overloading toppings. I love all the toppings you can put on the Korean dog too. It's amazing. I'll be back. Wait... I been back twice already. I'll be back again even though it's out my way.

I came here with my nieces and when we walked in there was a crowd but the service was still good. The staff was friendly. The spot is so cute. Definitely a place you can get a good ig pic. We tried so much stuff. We got 4 different mochinut donuts churro, king cake, original and strawberry funnel. We all had a different favorite donut. My favorite was the original. My oldest niece loved the king cake and my youngest niece loved the churro. They were sooo good!! I can still taste it. We also tried the hot dogs. We had the potato, ramen , and flaming hot Cheetos. We got half cheese half meat for all 3. My unexpected favorite was the potato one. It was so crispy and soft. So delicious. I also really like the flaming hot Cheetos one. For drinks we had Thai tea and ube. We enjoyed both. Overall this was a really great experience!

This place is so cute! It's got a nice clean, modern, open-spaced vibe that doesn't feel cramped. Ordering the boba drinks was a simple process with just 6 flavors to choose from. The mochinut donuts were beautifully decorated. Everything was displayed in a clean orderly fashion. We were pleasantly surprised to see that they had gashapon machines too! This may be our new go to spot whenever we're visiting New Orleans.

Chicken was good. Fries were good, too salty. Love that it wasn't processed breaded junk. The Mochinuts were good. Cookies and crème taste like the white chocolate bar. Panko crusted mozz stick was good. Wouldn't go again.

Really good donuts that are super chewy! I love how the flavors are constantly switched out so that we can always try new flavors. We got this on Fourth of July weekend so the flavors were themed around the holiday. We got the flavors chip ahoy, petit four, raspberry funnel, glazed, and cherry bomb. My personal favorite is the raspberry funnel and the glazed! Those aren't too sweet which is a plus. I didn't care that much for the chip ahoy donut because the icing was a bit too sweet and it stuck to the top of my mouth as it was also very thick. But overall all of the donuts were had a great texture of being super chewy! I would say this is a great place to pick up a bite to bring to any party! We love sharing the donuts are they are easy to pull apart. Great and fast service!

The decor inside is just as vibrant and colorful as it is outdoors. Fun paintings on the wall. There's a bar on the left hand side and booth seating on the right. You walk to the back to order and seat yourself. Cute drawing of a dog lying in a bun on the side of the napkin holder. The menu is above the counter, and it's a bit overwhelming. Who knew there were so many options for sausages. I decided on the Vegan Chipotle Sausage ($12.50). The list of toppings is even more extensive, which you can leave up to the chef, so you can guess, I decided to leave it up to the chef. I also purchased a fountain drink ($3.15). You give them your name when you pay, and they deliver your order to your table. While I was waiting, I also got a non-alcoholic drink at the bar, a Pacific Breeze ($5). It consisted of pineapple, passion fruit puree, and soda water. A deliciousness cold drink on a hot day. Staff called out my name and delivered my food. Wow! It was one loaded dog. Delicious. I approved of the toppings. If I had chosen, I may have over done it. Staff are super friendly. They were patient when ordering. I enjoyed the relaxed, chill environment. There's also a free standing ATM machine for your convenience.

Basically, you go into it, walk to the back of the shop, order up what you want, and go to your table and they'll bring it to you. Simple as that. They have a truly unique section of food orientated items. My favorite is there alligator sausage dog. But, they have all sizes and shapes of food offerings, including some designed for the vegans out there. Of course, have other items as well. So, even though this place, at least by my understanding, is focused on dogs, you can't find other fun items to eat here, as well. This location also has a self standing bar. From there, you can grab a great selection of beers, cocktails, and mocktails if that's your preference. At the bar, you order separately from ordering your food. Thus, you can have a great experience if you just want to come in and just have a drink and sit back at the bar. You can even talk to the bartender if you want to. Very nice. In terms of layout, they have interior seating, some booths along the one wall, plus a very expensive outdoor patio. So, weather permitting, if you're interested in breathing in some fresh air while you enjoy whatever it is you're eating and drinking at this establishment, it's a great place to do it. Overall, this is a really fun restaurant. I recommend you go there.
