Instead of leaving Mint, I decided to give Garland a try. Very clean! Staff were wonderful, at both locations. I've experienced 2 cleanings, 1 whitening, 1 cavity and now a crown and I have paid less than $500 for all of the procedures combined (I have insurance) but, also, Mint is competitively priced. I want to start off by saying I had an appointment this morning and the lady whoever took my appointment over the phone had me scheduled in for 24 December instead of today so that was mistake number one however the front desk lady said that they could take me. Now, moving alone, she had to reverify my insurance, which I had no problems with it before I could go back. Once she verified my insurance, she told me that on the 27th my insurance starts all over because I have had a cleaning already within the six months and if I decide to get it done today, she said it would be somewhere around $155. Well, I figured since the 27th was only a few days away I would wait so I didn't have to pay the $155. I only scheduled today because I just got my braces off this morning. I asked if I can come on Friday, which would be the 28th and she said that they were closed. So then I asked her. What days are they open late because I get off work at 4:30 or do they open up on Saturdays. The lady at the front was explaining to that they generally they take their last appointments between 4 and 430pm. Then I asked her how many minutes do they allow you to be late and they could still see me and then the lady said normally 15 minutes but it is no late grace if your appointment is at 4:30. I asked her why not and she said that they be wanting to go home because they're closing. I paused and thought about what she said and the manager Surely quickly jumped in the conversation and said we don't have anything after 4:30 and the mesquite office may be open on Dec 13th because they are closed for the Christmas Holiday. Basically to sum it up the Manager told me if I came at 4:45 which would be 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment that was at 4:30 they may or may not get to all of what I came for which is a Cleaning. She told me that they may only get to just take an x-ray and not do the cleaning and I will have to come back to do the cleaning so I'm like "What" that doesn't make sense to me so that means I'll be coming all the way over here And depending on how much time you have if you can do my Cleaning what I originally made my appointments for And she said yes. I said well that's unfair. I need your corporate number because that's totally wrong. She just kept butting in while I was asking questions asking me "how do I want to proceed". I mean she was very rude. Cut me off in between while I was talking so Are you gonna get this service done or not? I mean this lady was super Duper rude so I asked for a corporate number and I got the corporate number left him a message. I have not heard back from them. I know it's very soon, but hopefully they'll call me back and I can let them know. This was the worst experience I've ever experienced here and I will never go back. I mean this lady gave me a look that was horrible. Definitely showed me that. I don't belong here and that she did not want me to be here never again Mint Dentistry. I hope I have her name right "Surely" the skinny white lady with the large lips. And she was talking about me as I was leaving out the door. They smile in your face and try to put on a front to get your money and talk about you when you leave like they did me. This is just the first Review I did on them.
