Cauliflower crust - make your own pizza!
    Michele C.

Something about being able to choose your own toppings and not have to compromise on the pizza YOU want to eat! LOL I love a good sweet and spicy combo on my pizza and unfortunately most people I know do not care for it... so Mod Pizza is just the right lunch spot. Taking this picture, it was all I could not to grab it eat it on the way back to the office...but it had me thinking... hmmm... maybe I can get a pizza named after me! Ha! Try this combo and let me know what you think! Cauliflower crust (chewy and crispy texture) Garlic rub (might try a white sauce next time) Spinach Mozzarella (ask for extra) Spicy chicken sausage Pineapple Banana peppers To top it off... Balsamic Fig Glaze (sweetness) Tip: sign up for an account if you like to order online. I got a free No Name Cake! It's like a yummier, tastier, chocolatier Hostess Dingdong!!

Not a very long wait even with a long line. Pizza came out about 15 minutes later crispy and perfect!

This pizza place still has a unique experience for pizza lovers. We always order a custom pizza as then we can get whatever ingredients we want on the pizza. There is no limit and no charge for extra ingredients. Pizza is cooked in a gas/brick oven while you wait/watch. Their sauces taste good and the options are many. When the pie is ready there are other items you can add to it still. The newly designed dining area leaves a bit to be desired as it has blinding spotlights that shine in your eyes while trying to eat. My conclusions about MOD are that its a great pizza place with a good selection and great tasting food. Be sure to try it!

Update: Came here for lunch and the staff was amazing and they are fast. They cooked all of our pizzas just right!!! Well done MOD! Happy holidays!

My custom creation: pepperoni, bacon, black olives, jalapenos, and sriracha drizzle. 'Twas delicious!

THE CZARS OF 'ZA A fast-fired personal pie at this chain is tasty sure enough, but the real victory is thanks to their drink array. Coming here for lunch on a day when I shadowed Nichole C to school, I was delighted to use a pair of pizza coupons I received at a Yelp event many moons ago. Though I had some concerns they'd balk in accepting both freebie vouchers at once, the staff didn't bat an eye when redeeming them (phew!) MOD specializes in custom pizza creations, but they've also got plenty of other ideas on a board near where the queue line forms. The "mad dog", "calexico", and "caspian" are favorites if you can't decide on a build-your-own pie. NC got a seasonal option with artichokes and white sauce, while I chose a spicy variant with pepperoni and jalapenos with a sriracha drizzle. The topping selection here is wonderful; you can get everything from greek olives to gorgonzola, rosemary to roasted red peppers. And they don't charge extra! Both our pizzas were outstanding. Sometimes thin crusts stay too floppy or get burnt in the oven (barf), but MOD manages to walk the thin line between these. In a span of 2 weeks I've had 'za from 3 different places, and this was easily the best yet. They also feature garlicky sticks and cinnamon bread for those who feel like overdosing on carbs. Beer -- and wine! -- are offered, wicked props for that. Employees were pretty nice and our food came out in a jiffy. Where MOD really breaks the mold is with their unparalleled collection of homebrewed drinks. In addition to a normal black tea and tart lemonade, this location has a blackberry beverage and a simply sublime caramelized pear iced tea. It's truly the best I've ever tasted, that stuff was crazy addictive. * TL;DR * At some point in the last few years, the market became oversaturated with places that do quick assembly line build-your-own-sh*t, and we saw places like Blaze, Pie Five, and Bricks spring up like rampant weeds. Eventually the bubble burst and many of them closed their doors. This MOD in Bloomindgale is still standing, thankfully, as their pizzas come hot out of the oven with as many insane toppings as you'd like (carrots and honey, anyone?) The awesome teas & refreshing lemonades push them over the top, well into 5-star territory. Definitely recommend, and I hope to return at some point in the future. Well done, chaps!

For the staff that clearly doesn't know eggs aren't dairy! BTW the cauliflower crust has cheese in it. Staff didn't know this...

Scratch my last review. Super pissed right now. There is no training on allergies!!! Now that I see there is dairy in the cauliflower crust, I am truly disappointed with the staff not knowing that. I asked for a cauliflower crust pizza with vegan cheese and they didn't blink an eye. They made it and I took it home to my mother who has dietary restrictions. Had my mom been truly allergic and not for a cancer diet (which to me is still serious) someone could have had a horrible reaction. WHY DON'T THEY KNOW THIS?  I call and tell this kid there is dairy in the cauliflower, and he said "let me look, oh yeah I didn't know it had eggs" EGGS! REALLY! They don't even know what dairy is! I've lost all hope. I did have a hard time getting the PRIDE discount. It was Monday, wore rainbow, told them they had a sign by the register, and they still were asking each other if they were doing that deal. Really? I let it go because I was excited for a menu I thought my mom could eat, but now that I know they weren't trained to tell people there is cheese in the cauliflower, I'm super frustrated.  They also threw my pizza on the dirty counter instead of in a box because a newbie was in the way. Disappointed all around

First time here with my son and we liked the food. Customer service was great despite how busy they were. Our pizza got burnt so they had to remake it. A little disappointed for our first time but what can you do. I like the concept of putting whatever we want on the pizza. My son added whatever he wants on his side and I added whatever I want on my side. The garlic cheese bread was ok. I may skip that next time and get a bigger pizza instead . The vanilla milkshake was delicious. It was so creamy and wasn't too sweet for me. Will be back !

The owner helped us with moving tables around and her, the team, the chef, and the servers were very nice and thoughtful. Also, the ambiance of the location was so clean. It definitely felt like home. As a Filipino American, missing home, all the decor was cool and the photos with close up details was super cool. Now the food? Holy $h!!! It was soo good! I wouldn't have known fusion wings with Filipino flavors was so good! Also, with our half of the group, we shared the 100 family plan with 8 people. It was super worth the price to divide that with 8! 100 wings, 5 flavors of wings, 4 flavors of fries, 2 rice, 2 veggie sticks, and ranch? If I could give them a 20/5 I would! I thought both flavors were pretty good - Honey Thai Chili and Soy Garlic. There was extra sauce in the recess of the container for each flavor that I used a spoon to pour over the chicken which was necessary, especially for the Soy Garlic since the pieces were on the dry side otherwise. I didn't care much for the fried rice because there was too much sesame oil. The eggrolls were good and the included dipping sauce container was huge! The parmesan garlic fried corn was good too. Overall would try again but would avoid the rice plates and get the chicken by itself. Visit date: 3/13/26

The staff was friendly and welcoming which made a good first impression. We kept it simple and ordered half regular, half spicy chicken with a side of their savory gravy. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time especially since we arrived before the dinner rush and the restaurant wasn't too busy. Everything was hot and prepared as expected. Overall it was an ok experience. I'd happily come back and explore more of the menu next time.

I sent my husband inside to grab the food and according to him it was chaotic and messy in there. He did not care for the vibe. The fried chicken was bland, plus all dark meat in the two-piece combo, so I won't be getting that again. It came with a side of gravy which is ok if you like gravy (I usually do not and didn't like this one either). Fries are nothing special. The chicken sandwich is really lacking in seasoning and they skimped on the mayo. Popeye's does it better and for cheaper too. Their angus cheeseburger reminds me very much of a Wendy's burger, although the patty is thicker here. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here for the burger, but it's a solid option if ordering other food. The star of the show was the Jolly spaghetti. What a unique flavor from the sweetness of the sauce to the cheese and hot dog pieces! I wish there had been just a little more cheese, however. Also, it only tastes good when hot and starts to lose its luster when it cools down. I do like that they serve fountain Pepsi since it's pretty hard to come by these days other than at Taco Bell (and it's less watered down than Taco Bell's version). Overall, I think this place is just ok and if not for the spaghetti I'd probably never eat here again. I will come back occasionally for that spaghetti. It's Sheldon approved. IYKYK
