Ordered from Joseph's Pizza last week, and overall it just wasn't a great experience. The delivery took over the estimated time that counter attendant set out. The food was very bland, the oil with the fry items tasted like it hadn't been changed in a while and everything else was under whelming and in general from a restaurant depot and something poorly reheated. They advertise scratched made dishes, however the prices and food did not reflect what was expected. Do better Joseph's, we tore up your menu today and don't plan on returning unless there are some monumental changes that are to come. read more

The pizza is great. You can get it by the slice and they are pretty good sized slices that are perfect for lunch. I like the crest here more than other places. I have ordered a medium four meat pizza here and it was delicous! read more

We have lived in Glendale Heights for about six years now but tonight was the first time we tried this place. It is located right next to Select Nail Salon on Bloomingdale Rd. Hubby got the cheesy bread and a slice of pepperoni pizza (ginormous). I ordered the ribeye steak sandwich. The order of garlic bread was huge and the Alice of pizza could easily have fed two adults and there was plenty of pepperoni on the slice. My sandwich was the 5 oz and I ordered it with fries (substantial amount). The steak sandwich was quite good and it came with Mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onion. A former colleague of mine had recommended this place to me a while ago and I'm a little sad that it took us this long to try it. Portions were large, tasted good, and service was quick. I've honestly had the worst luck w/trying new pizza places lately. *** SUPER SAD FACE*** I have had this place on my radar in my collections for a few years now. I was near here and ordered my food thru YELP. The shopping center is packed with cars/patrons during lunch so good luck w/a park! The wait was typical for a pick up 30mins. When I went in the service was very pleasant from an older female who assisted me. I picked up my pie & left. The pizza was PERFECT... I really enjoyed my pie. Stopped in today after a hike and grabbed the 2 cheese slices and soda deal for $6. It's a cute little place with cheese, pepperoni, and sausage slices ready to go. It smells good inside, so assuming whatever else they were cooking up is tasty as well. The slices have a thicker crust, and their menu says you have to specifically request thin crust, so keep that in mind if ordering a whole pizza ahead of time. The slices were good. Great flavor and not too doughy. Would definitely stop for a quick lunch in the future, although I couldn't imagine eating two of them in one sitting. They're huge. The prices were reasonable, service was friendly. It is a convenient place to stop on the way home, so will definitely be back to check out more of the menu. Good food , great service , me and my little family are glad we found this business around where we live we come here atleast once a week.

In May they sent us a menu and coupons so we decided to order a 16" sausage (regular crust) and a 10" with ham and pineapple (fully understanding they would deduct the base price of the 10" via the coupon and we'd pay for the extra toppings). Imagine my surprise when the quoted total was higher than I had calculated. When I asked about it, I was given prices that were higher than shown in the menu. When I asked for clarification, I was told the menu was recently updated. So you sent people an old menu? Why would you send out a menu in May and change all the prices in June? It felt like a bait and switch. In addition, they automatically quote a total for credit cards, which includes a 3.99% cc fee, so pay with cash. Pricing issues aside, I hadn't noticed how flavorless their pizza is until trying it with ham and pineapple. There's no seasoning in the sauce at all. I tried the sausage pizza which was much better because the spices in the sausage compensate. Even though their pizza is more expensive by about $2-$3, I would much rather get Rosati's because even the plain cheese has lots of flavor. read more

I'm so very disappointed!!!! This WAS my favorite Pizza, the new owners have wrecked the pizza. I have been a regular customer of Joseph's for around 30 years, including the 10 years I lived 45 minutes away. Yes I use to drive 45 minutes just for the pizza. I hope the new owners read the reviews and bring back the original recipe. I have talked to friends and family in the area, and everyone agrees the new pizza is very disappointing. Josephs has recently changed ownership and there are several obvious changes. Service: 4/5 Pizza was delivered in 45 mins on a Friday with friendly delivery. Quality: -1/5 Yes. Negative (-1). I have eaten here for over 25 years. The dough was extremely tough, crust was anorexic and thin. I had asked for original crust. Cheese missing on 10% of the pizza. One piece of pepperoni per slice! Price: 0/5 Not worth crap pizza trying to cut corners. Overall: -1/5 To the new owners: You have ruined a perfect pizza. If it's not broken. Don't screw it up. But you screwed this pizza in every way! Instead, you have tried to cut corners and now, I will not eat this dog bone pizza. How disappointing. Joseph's pizza is a solid pizza spot in the Dupage county area. The regular crust is great, not cracker thin and not too thick. They have great fresh toppings and load it up with cheese. The new owners deliver further than the original, but still serve up the same great pizza! read more

They are open on Wednesday, despite what they have on their hours listed here on yelp. They have funky hours so call first before coming. Ordering ahead is a great idea too because it takes almost half hour to bake an 18" pizza. I've been coming here for years... They're very famous and busy during the football season. Their thin crust is the best. Get the Italian beef and giardinera on thin crust. An 18" with 2 toppings is only $21.60 They sell pizza by the slice for $3. Crust: Had it been a little more crispy, it would have been the best crust I'd ever had. It has potential/ Toppings: Wow, this sounds crazy but there were way too many for my liking. So much so that it was not possible to eat a slice without your hand becoming full of grease. However, that said -- the sausage had a great, fresh flavor. The cheese was really good. But I felt like the pizza sauce was missing some spice. Atmosphere: It really is a carry out/delivery place so it's not great. Price: A baby cheese pizza, large sausage and pepperoni pizza, two cans of pop = $32.04. Way overpriced. So yeah, it was "ok". Nothing I'd rave over. I won't likely try it again at that price either. We drive from Lombard specifically for their pizza. And not just for their pizza, we over order every time...their salads, and appetizers....you name it. When ordering out, this is the place. It is on our short list and doesn't matter that it is a bit of a drive. Consistently great food, great service, great people! Even in times of Covid-19, we over ordered (as usual) and I was nominated to go pick it up. The parking lot was packed, so I was prepared to make many trips back and forth but there was no need - one of their staff offered to help!! Even in these strange times when most people are shunning each other - this employee politely offered me a cold drink (even though I forgot my damn coupon again!!) and then offered to help me carry everything!! Best pizza in dupage. Their cheese and good crust go a long way. The crust has some substance for a non deep dish pizza. The bottom is firm and the rolled crust has some airiness to it. This is my favorite since it's not crackly thin like some of these other places. It's not overly puffy like the chain restaurants. You can go crazy on the toppings and it's still a good slice, but my favorite is their bacon pizza. Joseph's has the best bacon pizza of any place I've ever been to. That's my go to topping when testing out a new place. This is one of the few places where fresh vs cold vs reheated is an ongoing debate on which is best. It's all good. read more

I am very disappointed with my recent order. I have been coming to this place for 30 years and had never had a complaint, until now. I live an hour and 10min away and always came here to order the Chicken Parmigiana dinner and was willing to make the drive because of how good it was. But now it no longer tastes the same there has been some changes. They no longer give you the choice of bread or salad anymore. And on top of that I only got one chicken in mine instead of two, like it used to be. If the taste was still the same it would have been fine but the fact that it doesn't have the same flavor is the disappointing part. I will no longer be ordering from here. read more

Joseph's Pizza is a small pizzeria located off of Bloomingdale Road in Glendale Heights. This is a delivery and take out only joint that offers surprisingly generous amounts of toppings on everything at very reasonable prices. The first thing to notice about Joseph's is the value. While it might not be the cheapest pizza around, they certainly give you your moneys worth. Whether stuffed pizza or thin crust they absolutely do not skimp on toppings or any other ingredients. Their stuffed pizza is a thick stuffed (sauce on top, re-enforced crust) pizza with a very thick and flavorful sauce, the quality of the sauce, cheese and any toppings you get are fantastic. With that said I'm not the biggest fan of the taste of their crust as it is a distinctive yet, to me somewhat bitter flavor. The thin crust pizza here is actually a bit better, their thin crust pizza is thin, crispy, the cheese and sauce used are spot on, and they pile on the toppings. One other thing to note about Joseph's is that with any order greater than 9.00 you get a yellow menu. If you collect twenty yellow menu's you get a free sausage pizza. They also have "Play the Pizza Maker" scratch off cards. If you collect a cheese, sauce and dough card you get a free pizza. Unfortunately, the dough card appears to be the Joseph's pizza equivalent of the Boardwalk game piece for McDonald's Monopoly. In my workplace Josephs has been ordered a great many times and I've not seen one dough card out of over 30. Overall Joseph's is an excellent quality take out/ delivery pizza joint and I'd recommend it if you happen to be in the area. read more

I am a pizza whore...I love any kind of pizza, thin crust, pan, deep, stuffed (my favorite is wood burning oven) and Joseph's pizza definitely has a unique regular crust pizza which is not the same as their pan (which I've tried from here, and was delicious as well) but just that pillowy, soft, sink into your teeth kindof crust. More like a combo of a thin & pan, but not as doughy as pan. The sauce is tasty and not overwhelming...and the right amount of cheese and ingredients. I've only ordered delivery from here and just recently ordered a med reg pizza, combo beef sandwich, sub sandwich and baked clams. I'm giving 3 stars based on my recent order and on the rest of the food and service. Pizza was delicious, no complaints. baked clams also great, with large pieces of clam you could actually bite into and not all filling. Not so great: friend said beef sandwich was dry and tasted like it had been sitting for awhile..odd taste. His sub sandwich consisted of a couple pieces of meat, with the remaining ingredients being all lettuce and tomato. Delivery time? was told 45 minutes and order did not arrive until over an hour and we were STARVING. I gave them 4 stars for unique, reg crust pizza (it is a pizza joint after all) but they need to work on delivery times and not tell everyone 45 min. Pizza & baked clams are keepers here! read more

Absolutely amazed with terrible customer service, I am going to state that the girl on the phone sounds like she hates her life and job, I will accept that. We arrive to pick up the food to be faced with some schmuck behind the counter coughing up attitude for no reason, obviously he's angry and he's taking it out on people. Gives up pizza with no thank you, have a good evening, enjoy the pizza, nothing. Will not consider the place again and will share this info with all relatives and friends. Experienced level of customer service IMO is a sign of poor management and leads me to think if service is bad how terrible the food production must be.... read more

Nomz: thin crust with sausage and mushrooms. Other reviewers mention that Joseph (and staff) are heavy handed with the toppings, but I personally enjoy that. The thin crust is a little thin to hold up the weight of all that deliciousness, but you just gotta eat it fast (and then toaster oven it back to desired crispiness if you have leftovers) and expect it to be a bit messy. I also love the bread sticks (5 per order) which come with an amazing tomato sauce. those two items--the thin crust pizza & the cheese filled breadsticks--are basically the only things we order. I think we always consider ordering something different, but just like our old standbys too much to deviate from the usual. Joseph's pizza has some coupons on their website for free liters of soda (like RC and all that... come on now, when's the last time you had RC?) and a few bucks off your order, but prices are reasonable.
