Wish I could wright a positive review; however the online and phone orders are killing this business. My party of seven spent just under an hour waiting in line, while others came in an picked up their pie and the phone continued to ring. The staff was busting their tail; but these are two completely different business models. The walk-in business and dinning room business will not survive much longer at this rate. As always the food was good and the staff worked very hard to over come the issue; but the phone in orders were addressed while the walk-in customers could do nothing but stand and wait. From the moment we entered this pizza place we were greeted by the most friendly staff I ever had in any restaurant. Then we came to order our pizza and were explained the sizes and the unlimited toppings you can choose from. I felt like a kid in a candy store. Great food. Fresh selection. Great price. I'm the weirdo whom wants white sauce, pesto, artichokes and anchovies. The staff is friendly, with the exception of one young lady. I forgot to tell her anchovies before she got to the veggies. She decided to give me a pretty serious look, and tell me anchovies are considered "meat, ma'am". On another visit, a guy heard me tell my husband I don't like pineapple on my pizza. He then dips his hand in the pineapple and touches my pizza (thinking that we did not see him). It's comical. Love this place - customize your personal pizza and I like to get lighter red sauce so it's not a soggy mess. You can even order online. Sometimes the lines can get long in this place and on a rare occasion your pizza may be a little dark for your taste. But, we've come here a lot and it's one of our favorites for pizza. If you're not happy, they'll redo it. Reasonably priced and they have beer and wine too. Never tried the desert pizza or mini chocolate cakes...maybe one day. Friendly staff, good selection, the pizza and the ding dong (their cake) were delish. If you're dining in, bring a jacket- I was afraid they were storing dead bodies somewhere- it's cold. First of all, this is not your typical pizza place. It is like a cafeteria style for pizza. You pick your crust and your toppings. I will say they have a pretty good selection of toppings. When i got there there was only one person in front of me. Although it was my first time they gave a basic run through of how it works. From there they rush you. I am hard of hearing, so when i expressed numerous times that i could not hear well what was being said, the lady seemed to get annoyed with me and really did not speak up or clearly for me to understand. It did not make for a pleasant experience. They market that you can get any number of toppings for the same price. Not a bad thing, but the only issue i had was the cheese. They seem to be skimpy on the cheese no matter what you say or how many times you ask. It was a small pinch of cheese each time. I ordered three pizzas in total. It is really quick as it is a very thin crust and a really hot oven. I ordered one pizza with 1/2 sausage and it really was on a third, and when they sliced it, they had one slice with sausage and a partial cover on the other. I went there for my 8 and 10 year olds. Would i go back? Only for them. I am not a fan of how they operate, and i am not a fan of their product. I love a nice thin crust, i just did not xare for it. The kids enjoy the experience as it is a different way of doing pizza. Due to my hearing, i had a really hard time. I am not deaf, just hard of hearing and the surrounding noise makes it difficult. I would have liked a better experience on my first time. Would i go back? If i am alone or with adults, no. If i have my kids, only for them and then hopefully they have a salad, as my intention and focus was pizza. read more

Tried for lunch during the week. It was a bit overwhelming for my first visit. Loud and quite crowded. The guy at the beginning of the line was very friendly and did a great job explaining how to start. You basically pick one of the two sizes and any topping you want for one price. Neat idea. The lady at the cash register was not so friendly and seemed to be agitated with the other employees. Along with the atmosphere. She was the reason for the three stars instead of 4. This is my very favorite Mod pizza store... I love their pizza and their little no-name cakes are so chocolatey and delicious. So many toppings to choose from and always fresh and delicious. I have never had a bad pizza here and the staff is awesome awesome awesome! I love the way they make the crust so thin ....And their sauce is just the right flavor... not to sour and not too sweet! They will make it the way you order it and have special little sauces that you can get on the side... no extra charge... Keep up the good work guys! First time coming to this restaurant. Swung by here for a quick lunch. Pretty much a "Subway" for pizzas and the staff even described it as such. They have a bunch of toppings and there is no up-charge for adding toppings - one flat price. The place was fairy busy but we got our pizzas reasonably quick. The pizza is super thin and has a great crunch. A little thinner than I prefer but that is how they get the pizzas out so quickly. Overall, a great pizza at a decent price. I love MOD Pizza, but not this location. I normally don't write negative reviews, but hopefully they take this as constructive criticism. They got my order wrong (like WAY wrong), so I had to go back to get a new pizza. Then, I waited 25-30 minutes extra for them to make a single pizza. I thought they forgot about me so I went up to ask if the pizza was ready and it had been done and was just sitting at the pick up area. They didn't even bother to bring it to me. I was even sitting right in front of the check out. I didn't get a "sorry for the inconvenience" or anything. Very disappointing. The whole time I was sitting in the restaurant they were more busy talking amongst themselves about personal matters than actually focusing on their work. Well, I can say that I've been to a restaurant during their opening month. I am one that likes to have the restaurant work out all the kinks before going, but I had to make a quick decision about dinner and thought it would be a nice place to try. Downside: It gets super crowded during rush hour anything (lunch/dinner). Keep that in mind if you are needing to get a quick bite to eat. The way to order and pay for your pizza seemed a little chaotic. No one really knows what to do and no one was helping. I feel like they should have an area for to-go orders, only. With having both orders in the mix, you have a bunch of people waiting to get their pizzas, blocking the ebb and flow of the process (minus the star) The Good: The food! Man was this pizza pretty good for a quick bite to eat. Unlimited toppings for the same price. How can you complain. Now, I will say, there should be a disclaimer where if you add too many toppings, your pizza will be soggy and will not cook properly, as one patron found out after they had to remake his pizza 2 times because the first time was way under-cooked and the 2nd time was charred to a crisp on the bottom. Will we be back. Um, yes! Loved the concept and so glad Conroe is finally getting with the times and getting good restaurants in the area that are not tex-mex. read more

There's MOLD in the napkin dispensers by the fountain drink bar and not to mention it doesn't look like anything has been whipped down in age's.
