Ordered a thin crust half Hawaiian / Marini special to go. Both were good and ready when I got there.

I was at the restaurant as a customer and overheard the owner talking to a young female employee it was really disturbing. He was using insulting language. it was completely unprofessional and hard to hear especially coming from a grown man in charge . The way he spoke to her made it clear that employees aren't treated with respect, and it was uncomfortable just listening to it. It made me question how the staff are treated on a regular basis and left a bad impression of the place overall. No employees deserves to be talked to that way no matter the circumstances Because of that,I honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone based on that experience alone. read more

Why 5 stars? Because the meal, as a whole, was exactly what I was hoping for. --- --- --- Despite the fact that I had stuffed my face for lunch and vowed never to eat again, I started feeling those hunger temptations around 6pm. I had wanted to check out Marini's for quite some time, and it seemed like it would really hit the spot at a moment like this. I couldn't resist the opportunity to try out the blanco pizza. It looked the best according to the menu and the photos on Yelp. I really enjoyed it, but I will say, it was pretty rich, so I felt like I couldn't eat that much of it. When I checked in on Yelp upon arriving, an offer popped up for free garlic knots. Since they were free and I had considered ordering them anyway, I couldn't resist. This ended up being a great decision because the marinara dipping sauce was a way to nicely mix it up with the white pizza. My wife ordered a supreme submarini, which I only tried two bites of, but I thought it was awesome, as did the wife. Lastly, we grabbed a chocolate cake and a turtle cheesecake. I didn't try the chocolate, but the wife enjoyed it. The turtle cheesecake was fine, but I was regretting not ordering the limoncello. Rounding up from 4.5 stars to 5 here to support a nice, family business. I will definitely come back in the future! read more

I don't think all the crusts were listed on the app. I chose the "gluten free" (which was good) because it didn't want thin crust. However the hand tossed wasn't available to order. Pizza was good, just wish I had that as a choice. read more

We have been really wanting to try this place and finally did and I can say it was delicious. We ordered pizza and pepperoni rolls and both were superb! If you are staying in the Walden / Margaritaville area I highly recommend this place! read more

We just moved to Walden so this was the first time we had ordered from Marino Pizza. The pizza was average at best. For $20 pizza that was small would be better than most this one wasn't. Sad I really had high hopes. Service was so just ok to below average. The staff was too busy kidding around other than interacting with customers. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting only if staff were present it may have been better. We probably wouldn't go back didn't feel we got our money's worth. read more

Perfect place to get pizza if you've been out on the lake all day or just need a dinner in. The classic pepperoni pizza was delicious. I would pass on the chicken wings, they looked good with good flavor but unfortunately they were not cooked well. They needed to be more crispy. Small little place with love /hate reviews. It seems when they do good, they are great, but same applies when they do bad. Reviews can be brutal. We just stopped here off a drive by sighting that piqued our interest. Lots of traffic, looks like delivery is busy, they have their own drivers as well as door dash. We are in here on a Tuesday evening, close to 7pm. Prices seem good so far, will totally be dependent on quality. We like to support locally owned businesses, so hopefully we will have reason to come back. We ordered a Philly cheese steak, and a supreme submarine. Also some garlic knots. I'm going to say the two young ladies helping us were not very knowledgeable about the menu, and the menu isn't detailed on some items. In this case the philly cheese steak. Neither girl knew what toppings were on the sandwich or what kind of cheese, but we managed. We ordered our food to go because it's cold in the building and not enough light (IMHO), but definitely too cold. Unfortunately this leaves us capable of hearing the conversation going on in the kitchen. They are laughing about a 90 minute delivery time. I would recommend picking up your own food based on this conversation. Of course the longer we sit here waiting for sandwiches will lend itself to a probable negative comment, so I will finish after we get our food home. We got our food and I will say, it smells really good, and they apologized for the wait. So our food was indeed good, surprisingly. The price is really fair too. I would have liked to see more meat on the Philly, and definitely enough cheese to legitimately call it a cheese steak. Looking at the pics, you don't even see any cheese, too little to even determine what kind, but I think provolone. The supreme submarine was good but it was dry. They serve it with both ranch and marinara, I preferred the ranch. Definitely don't leave unless you confirm you have the sauce to go with it. Again the only negative is the poor conduct of the employees, and overhearing their conversations. read more

Family and i were at the lake and we did not want to do dinner at Margaritaville where we where staying. Just too many kids there, we found this local pizza place and actually ate there which not many do. Great pizza and super nice staff, they are used to take out more serving the neighborhood there so be patient.I would order from here regularly if I lived near by. read more

Some of the best pizza in the Houston area! This is coming from a pizza connoisseur that was raised in New England. Marini's has very unique signature taste. A tad heavy on the garlic in the sauce but everything melts together perfectly. Beautiful, thin, New York style crust. Their formula is so good that I often don't like to spoil it with toppings. Menu selections for us included a medium hand tossed supreme pizza, medium hand tossed blanco pizza, and a large Greek salad. Great Pizzas! Topping had the perfect blend on the Marinis Supreme... Placed my order fueled up and it was ready by the time I was seated.

This evening I ordered a pizza and sub .there was a mishap with my order. I called they immediately. Remade my order and delivered it again I wish I would've got the young man's name on the phone and the delivery guy. They both were awesome and very professional. I'd say overall I was underwhelmed. We just moved to the area and were looking for a nice Italion Resturant to visit. We drove 25 minutes after calling ahead to see if they had a wait and tables available and they said they were accepting dine in. Everything posted on yelp also made me believe they would have good gluten free options since I have celiac. They have one option on the menu that is gluten-free... a 10 inch pizza. I asked if they could make bread knots or calzones gluten free and was told no because it was a frozen gluten free crust. All of the yelp info made me think this was a nice dine-in Resturant. I am attaching a photo of the inside so you can see. The regular pizza was very good my husband and kids loved the food. However we won't be back simply because it's not what we were looking for. I'm leaving the review simply to help others avoid what we experienced. -restrooms were disgusting -gluten free option did not taste good and there is only one gluten free option. -the only options for drinks are bottled water and soda -only 4 tables and it seemed awkward to wait in but after driving 30 minutes we couldn't wait for food and then drive all the way home. Also for those who are worried about covid... -none of the staff were wearing masks. Overall I just feel like the listing is misleading. The only pro was the regular pizza and bread knots were great according to my husband and kids. We would considering ordering takeout but they only deliver within 3 miles. read more

Always really liked the pizza but had a pepperoni pizza and cheese pizza recently that was burned and about 10 pepperoni total on the large burnt pizza. Could have gone to Little Caesars for much better and much cheaper. The pizza should have never been delivered it should have been put in the trash and a new one made with more pepperoni and not burnt. read more
