They have a great rewards program and they're very quick the coolest thing about this place aside from the awesome seating all the different healthy options. They have with the cauliflower crust, but today I had to do the 11 inch build drone and I had spicy sausage, pepperoni and jalapeños that extra bite. The pizza was delicious. I had to make sure I got a medium sized one because that's we all know there's always room for another slice and I have to watch out lol the staff was really friendly. The 3rd time, we made the mistake of choosing the "Extra Crispy" option for the crust, and they gave us 5 pizzas that were completely black on the bottom. First thing's first. I noticed a trend regarding other reviews about hostile management, and I can easily confirm today that it's all true. Been coming weekly for months and I work in the same plaza, but nobody gives a crud here. Staff has made multiple mistakes where I had to take pie back for remakes. First incident occurred when chicken wasn't added on my online order. Second incident occurred when they mistakenly added red bell peppers and burnt the crust. And today June 7th, somebody forgot the olives and burnt the broccoli to a blackened crisp. See the photo for yourself. See those black spots all over the pizza? It's burnt broccoli! A complete pain and a waste of time having these errors because it takes another 12 to 15 minutes to remake another. So, waiting for my original bad pizza and the remake is a combined total of half an hour which is my entire lunch break down the drain. THREE times total now! Many places in food and beverage who operate on a professional level will offer or ask if you wish to keep the original pie to compensate for the mistake while they redo another one. Otherwise, it's a complete waste of food to toss it in the trash and a complete waste of customer's time. If 1st pie made in error isn't offered to consumers for compensating lost time, we will have to wait double the time limit for just one pizza that should've been easily made right the 1st time! Manager Amanda never offered the first incident and appeared a bit bothered by my return. After she handed me the remake, I assumed she forgot to ask if I also wanted the original as well, so I asked if I can just take that to compensate my time. She appeared displeased and reluctantly handed it over. 2nd incident was due to them adding ingredients I never ordered. Red bell peppers were added, and crust was all burnt. They offered a redo and upon leaving, I asked if I could just take the original anyways if they were planning to toss it out. Makes no sense to waste food and my time all at once. Employee appeared reluctant as well but did provide it as requested. So far, I didn't make any issues out of these two incidents back-to-back because they did provide complete compensation for my time. By offering the redo which is mandatory due to their mistakes is one thing. But I was also allowed to keep the original one I returned for the additional time I had to wait for the redo. This made perfect sense, so no harm was done. Such courtesy is obviously expected unless you feel it's normal to waste customers time for your continuous mistakes. For today's incident which is now the THIRD time, they forgot the olives and burnt all the broccoli to a blackened crisp. The same routine where a redo was now being made but a bit frustrating now. Saw new girl put my returned pie on a top counter in the back room. I asked if she's planning to throw away my returned item, could I just keep it as compensation. She had to ask Amanda for permission, and it was apparently unacceptable now. Amanda appeared bothered and asked if they could just throw olives onto the existing pie to my disbelief. I replied that the broccoli is also burnt unlike all my previous pies. She argued that they're toasted to begin with and showed me all the rest. The rest of the broccoli appeared stale and rotten. She never apologized for any inconvenience and acted like this was perfectly normal. I asked Amanda directly now if I could just keep the return as well for this inconvenience and she lied by saying, "Oh it's probably tossed in the trash already." I told her it's placed on the top counter in the back. She proceeds to ignore me and never replied. It wasn't a shocker because I always suspected she was covertly hostile. I asked again if I can have the original as well to make up for my time and she decided to play me stupid. Walks back to "check" and says, "YUP. It's in the trash." Lies to me in my face when I clearly saw where the other employee placed it. I left the restaurant momentarily to gather my thoughts and later complained about such repetitive service of always getting my orders wrong. I asked Amanda if she's the manager and informed her it's really unfair for me to wait an additional 12 to 15 minutes for your mistakes with no compensation whatsoever. I asked is there anything else you're willing to do for this mistake? She replied, "We already remade the pizza." Gave me this complete cold stare and shrugged. She asked, "You still want the original? OK sure." She goes to back and brings out a garbage can. Amanda says, "I'll give it to you but it's in the trash. You can take it NOW if you want." Refused it at first but wants me to eat out the trash? Unbelievable. Hostile, deceptive, conniving and brilliantly concludes that pizza in trash is far more appropriate than offering it to customers as an apology. Guess my complaint in store didn't do the trick so here's MY redo. Enjoy. read more

I don't know what all the hate is about for this location. We live right down the street and visit the center and this MOD at least every other week. My kid loves their mega crust pepperoni pizza. The staff is always nice, no matter how busy, or what time of day we come in. They have a nice patio and the music choice is always great. I've been there on a Friday when the place is crawling with teenagers, and never witnessed the staff being hostile. They have had to ask kids to leave because they were destroying property or throwing ice at each other, but that feels more like a reflection of their parenting than the fault of the MOD employees. I love my city, but some of the people in it are just down right rude to service people. They have messed up my order one time in the hundreds of times I've been there over the years. When I explained the issue to them, they remade my pizza on the spot and gave me a free one for my next visit. MOD has some of the best prices on unlimited topping pizzas in town. Any time I have gone here recently ( last year or so) the staff pretty much ignores the customers. They will finish what they are doing before they acknowledge your presence. They never greet you or say they will be with you in a minute and then after a brief interaction they're back to their phones or talking amongst themselves. We used to love this place, it was our go to to get personalized pizzas, and the quality was always great. I sent my sister there a week ago when she was housesitting for us and said was craving pizza and she said she threw most of it away. So we just ordered two pizzas from this location and to put it mildly, it was welcome to the bathroom night for us. Severe stomach pains and the runs all night! We contact the manager the next morning and all she had to say was you're the first health concern and since we placed the order through DoorDash there's nothing she can do. First of all, yes there is. Take it more seriously is what you should do. Second, maybe extend some courtesy by at least comping us our trouble with it. I went to MOD Pizza earlier this evening. While the pizza was average as always. I was more concerned with how the Manger was treating her emmplee. (The Employee who has blondish hair and was wearing a white hat.) The manager was being verbally aggressive and borderline abusive towards this employee over grabbing water. Super fast, tasty, delicious. I love these build your own pizza places but they're not all created equal. I came in at 6 on a Wednesday evening and it was not very busy. I was greeted and helped by a very pleasant young man who took my order and my pizza went in the oven and was out so quickly and came out perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed my pizza and the price was totally reasonable too, as I have some leftover! 5 stars to this location for the quality of the food, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the efficiency and speed of my order, and the cleanliness of the restaurant. i wanted to love this place but today i got food poisoning from my pizza. i ordered ahead and when i picked up my food, it was cold. the orders get left on a wire rack with nothing to keep them warm, and the guy working was busy making other pizzas so i figured i would just reheat my pizza when i got back to my work, and then threw up an hour and half later. i realize now that my food must have fallen into "the danger zone". on top of that, i noticed the few times i ate there prior that the ingredients are not the freshest or best quality. i was trying to give the benefit of the doubt the first couple of times but consistently the meat is very fatty and grey looking, and the veggies are yellowing and mushy. please learn about food safety before going into food service! my $25 pizza may now cost me a couple hundred dollars in lost wages if i have to miss work due to this. read more

We tried this pizza place MOD pizza in Huntington Beach and you get to create your own pizza and put as many toppings on top as you like. They have lots of toppings to choose from that other pizza places dont have starting with spicy hot tomato sauce or just plain sauce and spicy or mild chicken, ham, different sausages and many spices. So they use a thin crust here but it swells up a bit surprisingly and our pizza cooked very fast. I came here on a Monday night and it was empty which was great because I didn't want to stand in line. I created my own pizza and got the results size which was more than enough.
