Harriet W. doesn't have an accurate description about mod pizza. The company itself doesn't deliver food door dash does it so it being late and to the wrong hotel has nothing to do with mod. As for the "regular" size pizza being to thin the regular mod is an 11 inch THIN crust pizza. Mod specializes in thin crust artisan styled pizza. The only thick dough mod has is a mega dough. Also when ordering a Lucy Sunshine which comes with a garlic rub base, mozzarella, parmesan, and artichokes it gets red sauce dollops at the end BUT if you want to add red sauce as the base you can do that because mod doesn't charge for toppings. This place is amazing! Not only do they not charge for extra toppings, but the team here is just so on top of things. I've managed restaurants my whole life and i rarely have had such consistently great experiences every time at a restaurant. Like, this staff is above and beyond. They treat you like you're you're first and only customer that has walked through that door all night. Great choice when your in the mood for pizza and want it custom to not only you, but to everyone in your group! You pick a size, then pick and choose as many toppings as you would like! More toppings doesn't mean more cost either! Gotta love that! Since they are small pizzas and have thinner crust, they bake pretty fast. You can also do a double crust with mozzarella between them! This was my first visit to MOD, and besides the long wait, it was a very good experience. We had been to the Salem location last year and are so excited to have one closer. I came in on a Monday at 8:00pm and there was a long line. I think it took about 25 mins before I finally got to the line up. I ordered the gluten free crust and it was very tasty. I love that you can create your own pizza without a bunch of up charges. I could tell that the staff was stressed out because of all the people, so I understand why the cooks weren't being super over the top friendly. However, I do want to say there was a man named Mike that was going around cleaning tables and helping people out. He was incredibly helpful and went out of his way multiple times to help me. He even through in a cool sticker (: another friendly team member was named Tito. He was so friendly and had a big smile on his face. He grabbed me a bag when the girl handing out pizzas was too busy to help me. I would have given a 4 star rating for the other customer service, but Tito and Mike got you guys the 5th star. The beer is excellent too. It's worth the wait and the drive from grants pass. Update: came back and received amazing service from June and Zay. They were really really nice!! read more

I love pizza, but this pizza goes beyond love, because you can pick and choose what you want from the sizes to the toppings. I also got a Cesar salad that was amazing. I love the drink choices as well. I'll never order out again. This was inexpensive and tasted great. I pay double normally just ordering delivery for not the same quality. I've seen Mod Pizza around for a while, but this week was the first time we checked it out. We really liked being able to choose all the toppings we wanted without jacking up the price. One thing I did notice though, is when you ask for more of a certain topping, they kind of pretend that they're putting it on. They make it look like they're grabbing another handful, but if you're not paying attention they'll only put on a smidge of it. This happened on two separate visits. Pretty good for a fast-food pizza chain. I'm not into all the corn and BBQ sauce on chicken, but the salad and pizza I had was good. Everyone can get their own pizza which was nice. The crust was fresh and well cooked - crunchy around the edges. Nice to get. $2 beer with the pizza too. Not sure if that's the normal price, but beats the $4+ I have to pay some places. read more

To the two young black men that work here. Please quit! You obviously both hate your job. Your both extremely rude every time I've been in, and NO this is not a race thing. You rush everyone through the line, are very un-personable never make eye contact and last time we were in 20 mins before close and they were dragging tables across a concrete floor, (sounds just like nails on a chalkboard for example.) The pizza was good but the service, atmosphere, and staff were deeply subpar. At least two of the "pizza makers" have yet to discover the belt, and their pants were falling a disturbing amount. I felt like she must have had a long and busy day, but I don't think that we should have got the rude customer service we did because of that. update: i usually love this staff and store until today. when i came in today hoping to get the usual service.... but i was super disappointed. instead i was not greeted and then i see a guy named david i believe in a red shirt and black bandana... first he was rude to the girl who was trying to help me and pushed her off from taking my order.(like he could do it better) and was then rude and unprofessional to me i felt rushed and very uncared for.... i mean what's the point of gloves if the whole time your pulling up your pants and touching your shirt or head.. i don't know what's going on with the staff but management should definitely handle how rude this david was to me and his coworkers.... i will not be returning to this location especially if i see him there. read more

The concept of this place is great but every time we come in the service is awful! Most of the employees chat with each other the entire time anyone's in line even when theyre busy thus making the wait even longer. Some of the workers are just plain rude, and on top of the bad service we've found hair in our pizza. I just don't understand the draw to this place. The pizza is a decent enough price, but it takes forever and it really isn't that great. I always have to ask for more toppings about three times. They try to rush, but they don't listen to what you say, and the crust tastes like they over knead the dough. I waited for almost 30 minutes for my pizza today and the line wasn't even to the door when I went in (from the time I walked in the door until I actually had my pizza). The line was short but the first impressions were bad. This is the first time I have ever been to MOD and it took me a while to order. The individual taking my order had no patience and the music was so loud that I could t understand him and he couldn't understand me. There was no order in ordering and you just waited not knowing where to go. When I get to the cashier she looked at me like I shouldn't be there yet. In preparation to eating I went to the restroom to wash my hands and the toilet leaking and water was all over the floor behind the toilet. Let me start off by saying, we love your pizza and everything about this business idea. Which makes this all the more frustrating. We have been in to eat here many times since the opening. The first two visits in, our pizza's had to be remade due to the employees adding the wrong sauces and cheeses. Both times, the employee's were very apologetic and nice. No biggie. We soon figured out that we can order online and how convenient that would be for us. We order online, tells us we can pick our food up in an hour. We think that would be perfect, that would give us time to eat before I had to go to work. We show up about 15 minutes after our time given to us and they completely forgot to start our pizza's. It was not busy when we showed up to get our food and wasn't busy when we left. We waited almost 25 minutes for our pizza's and they were WRONG again. REALLY?! Not only did I not get to eat my meal before work but I wasn't even excited to eat when I got home. I ordered online last night, thinking it would give me time to finish up at work and make a quick stop on my way home for dinner. I show up around the time my order said it would be ready, there are no customers waiting in line, my food is surprisingly ready. Sweet! I double check the pizza's and they were wrong. AGAIN! So I tell the gentlemen cutting my other pizza that the first pizza is the wrong size and doesn't have any sauce on it. He looks confused and was like oh, uh, I guess we can make you another one. While he is asking the line prep people to make another one, the manager offers to give me the messed up pizza and then the correct one. I accept and I sit down to wait for the extra pizza. I wait for about 10 minutes and the original guy who was handing me the pizzas asked why I was still waiting. So I replied, I am still waiting on the correct pizza. He looks down and goes, well it's sitting here. Was I suppose to go behind the counter and grab it myself? He begins to box it and I ask for the Sri-Ranch, he repeats what I say and then proceeds to pour the wrong sauce on there. During this time, the employees were shouting about who would be willing to cover what shift and I mean, actually shouting when it wasn't busy or loud in the building. I had it at that point, I just grabbed the pizza's and went home. Needless to say, we will never order online again and it will be a long time before we come back to this establishment. read more

We have been here twice, the first time we went in was pretty swell, but it was very obvious that the staff was still training couldn't, they answer any of my questions and couldn't find things listed on their toppings menu. The second time we went in instead of getting no cheese I tried their dairy free cheese (due to an intolerance), I have had a lot of dairy free cheese in my life and it was the worst I ever had it really ruined the pizza for me. Another issue we had was getting to the register to check out and the person standing there was on his phone, he was also talking to a coworker, we stood right in front of him at the counter for over 3 minutes and the line started to back up before he thought to ask if we needed to checkout, he had seen us their, and the employee that made our pizza even told him he could help us checkout, but it didn't seem to register with him.
