Well....i have voiced concerns about this place before but they fell on deaf ears. So I finally made a complaint to the Health Department to see if they can get some attention. There is a very nice girl there with blue hair- but I do not like seeing it touch my food. I have a phobia about that. Just grosses me out. Still they have done a thing to change it. Wear a damn hair net. Then to top it off- one of the workers was eating and cooking at the same time. Hell no. Bad practices. Super awful management. I'm sure there are other Mods out there who give a crap. But I couldn't even finish my food I was so sick at what I saw. Shame on poor management who don't care about public food handling. The wait to Oder was worth it. Crust is very nice, and loads of options for toppings at no extra charge. I added artichoke, roasted garlic, and roasted corn to my Dillon James. My daughter added bacon to her Caspian, a great looking bbq chicken unique drink choices, too. Loud reflective environment, but clean. Great for kids and take away. The easiest way to describe this restaurant is compare it to Subway. Where subway was the first to introduce the opportunity for the customer to decide what bread to start with, what cheese and what fixings, mod pizza has done the same thing with the pizza. You start out with a thin crust pizza and then get to decide amongst a variety of sauces meats seasonings and of course a bunch of different vegetables. After that, they slide the freshly designed pizza into their stone oven and when they say fast, they mean it! The pizza was cooked to perfection in under five minutes and myself and my family really enjoyed the experience. They have great salads as well! read more

Loved this concept ! I'm perplexed as to why it's not called "The Pizza Bar" because it's the most amazing idea to hit pizza ever! Just like a salad bar or a burrito bar or an ice cream bar, you basically create ur own amazing pizza ! How could you possibly complain about a pizza you create virtually as you stand there? Amazing ! Got a small salad and pizza special of the day both fresh FAST and delicious, the pizza crust was awesome too! The staff seems super nice a girl actually came over to our table and asked how we were enjoying it, that was a nice professional touch! I loved the little round chocolate cup cakes they make , super yummy! I feel Like every review should be constructive so I will mention this, the only negative, guys making the pizza MUST understand the reason they wear the gloves is not to protect there hands lol it's to protect The CUSTOMERS the public, not to protect him/her meaning you can't spread oil on the crust with the palm of your Gloved hand then walk over and push the kitchen door open while wearing the same gloves you can't and shouldn't touch ANYTHING but the food while wearing the gloves! If you have two pick up the sharpie marker to make notes on the prep or wipe ur sweaty brow or lean on the counter with ur gloves on YOU MUST change the gloves in between! The gloves are to stop the spread of germs and are required by law! I wish management of every restaurant would take the time and explain the gloves and why they are critical with food preparation, brand new teenage workers and newbies must be schooled on health codes, my point is the guy last night making my pizza obviously missed that training as he smeared the oil on the raw dough then whipped his sweaty brow then picked up the pen wrote some things touched the door the wall the handles in the prep area ,went into the kitchen and back to finish the pizza all while wearing the same gloves lol Still the service and pizza was excellent :) That said, if they fix the glove situation I'm going to be a life long regular customer, by far the best service and pizza in town! read more

Stopped in last minute for dinner. The line wasn't too long. The staff is friendly. We ordered 4 pizzas and everyone seemed to enjoy them.. mine was eh. We ordered the Oreo shake and the cup was about a third empty. Crazy when you think I it costs almost $4. Over all it was alright. I usually really like this place but it was just ok. The pizza is okay but management and customer service needs work. There were about 10-12 people in front of us in line tonight but we ended up waiting over 25 minutes just to order. It turns out they prioritize online orders over in-store customers so half the time the line stood still. When we finally made it to the front, we had to watch them fill an online order that came in 20 minutes after we walked in the door . UPDATE: Bumping the rating up to 4 from 2 because the past two visits didn't involve the long wait behind online orders. Food is still good, people are nice. read more

I thought the Pizza was really good. The crust on mine was a little burnt which I actually liked. It's not head and shoulders above the other quick pizza joints which seem to be everywhere, but it was still very good. The service at this location wasn't great. Those taking the orders were great, but the ones taking the pizza out of the oven and ringing us up needed a lot of work. One of the cooks had a very greasy shirt, no apron, and was scratching his head a lot. Also, the bare concrete didn't feel clean. Made the floor look dirty. Finally decided to try this place and had a good experience in terms of customer service and the salad. The "pizza" however was not as expected at all. When I want pizza, I want pizza, not "pizza". I am not sure why they do their "pizzas" the way they do which is basically putting toppings on this round bread that's already baked and made. To me it was like "hey, let's get a pita looking bread, put some toppings on it then run it through a mechanical oven to warm up the toppings and the bread!! Ohhh, and let's call it; Pizza!!!" If you're expecting a traditional pizza this is not the place for you. If you're expecting flat bread with toppings on it, it's the place for you. That said, I really like the concept of the place I just wish the dough was fresh and like a real pizza. Again, customer service was great, the resturant was very nice and clean. Pretty cool pizza joint here. Took me a while to come in, but now that I have, I like it. You have to get their concept, to get behind the pizza. It's basically personal pan pizzas in an assembly line like chipotle. 8 bucks gets you four decent size slices. The toppings are all free. And throw on an after sauce for extra delight. For me, the pizza is pretty tasty. It's close to being a thin crust. And I'm not sure if you can specially order thick crust, but that would be cool. I didn't order the ingredients down the line. I basically told the guy what I was looking for and he knew what to throw on them. Otherwise it was a fast wait. They were quick to throw four pizzas together for me. I am not really getting the underwhelming reviews for this place, I have been super pleased with all 6 or so deliveries I have received from them! The pizzas are a great size, the crust is delicious and chewy, the price point is fair. Ordering delivery for these, you're bound to get pizza less than hot since they're not delivered in insulated bags (I see you, DoorDash), but that is not a deterring factor for me. We popped in, hoping for a decent, quick, cheap meal, and man were we disappointed. We both ordered a mini pizza (think 6 inches across) and a mini salad (about the amount you could hold in a cupped hand) - both were 6 bucks. Absolutely ridiculous for the amount of food you get. It would have been a fine, if futile, experiment, if the food had ACTUALLY been halfway decent. It was undercooked. I don't know how you undercook thin crust pizza, but they did it. Is it just me, or is this pizza made on a tortilla? I found NO evidence of actual dough on mine. I SO wanted to love this place, as I feel like Pizzeria Limone (a couple of blocks away) has gone downhill to the point of not wanting to go there anymore. I just wasn't impressed. The topping were ok, but the crust makes this pizza, and this crust was not a crust. This is not thin crust pizza, it is beyond that. With virtually no discernible crust, it's not worth $9 for a pizza. I stand by my sleuthing that tells me this is made on a tortilla, or something very similar. I'm not going back. Now, let me tell you about a REALLY good new pizza place! It's called My Pie, and it's in Holladay, across the street from Taqueria 27, in the parking lot of the new Harmon's on the corner of Murray-Holladay Rd and Holladay Blvd. This place is everything that MOD Pizza is not, and is an improvement on what Pizzeria Limone used to be. Real, thin crust. Great toppings (the thinly sliced spicy sausage is DELISH). My Pie is a better concept. This new location isn't on Yelp yet, but when they are I will leave a rave review. read more

Totally vegan friendly. I had garlic, which was maybe a bit too much, but it's set up so you get to pick everything on your personal pizza. They have gluten free crusts and dairy free cheese. It was really good! My pizza was $11, but the gluten free crust is $2 extra so probably could've been cheaper. They also don't charge per topping, you can pick whatever you want. read more

We are on an extended visit to Utah and found MOD Pizza. It's so hard to find a place that has healthy options, is affordable, and tastes good too. Here's what we LoVE about this place: you can load up your toppings on a healthy cauliflower crust and you don't get soaked two and three dollars per topping like some other pizza places. Additionally, they're super quick and you can get a nice healthy lunch for the family under $20. If you have picky pizza eaters, they have personal sized options and you can customize to your hearts desire. Definitely need to try these guys out! read more

My friend was over and had to be at his mission anniversary by 6pm. I ordered online to be faster and they said it would take 25 mins (5:10pm). I arrived at 5:12 and they didn't even start making them yet. Still waiting here and they finally put them in the oven at 5:23. There were maybe 3 other tables full w/ customers and 4 people in line. There was no reason why they should not had them done. I was offered a free drink which I didn't even want in the first place. Maybe a discount on pizza I said, but they didn't offer that. Don't call yourself super fast pizza place in the title of your company if you can't deliver super fast pizza. Finally got my pizza at 5:28. So almost 20 mins late. If online ordering is too overwhelming maybe put longer estimated wait time until you learn to be more efficient? The girl who's prob is in high school was really stressed out. She told the guy at the register which I'm assuming was a manager and then came over with the free drink. It would have counted more to have the manager come over and apologize instead of making and employee do it. It's great pizza but just lacks on delivery with time and customer service when something is screwed up. Make sure you call them to double check your order time just to make sure you're not sitting around for 20 mins longer. I'll still come every now and then but I won't expect super fast pizza. Starting off looking for a new but more local place to eat today. We found a place in Fort Union, Utah we've never heard of or tried and so we were off to the adventure. We arrived at Vessel Kitchen in Fort Union or Midvale, Utah. My wife and I put on our masks and went in to try the local and new place. We were greeted by a young lady, no name, that before she said anything else to us, told me I was wearing my mask wrong and she won't serve me till I put it on right. Now, it's not the issue of wearing or not wearing the mask that was so distasteful and wrong, but the fact I wasn't even greeted and explained the rules before she said what she said. We turned around and exited the establishment without a comment back to them. We walked outside and noticed a MOD Pizza and Salad resturant right next door. We weren't actually looking for Pizza or Italian food, but decided that since we were there and we never tried or seen one before, we'd give it our business. We walked in and noticed three young adults working the place. A lot of joking and laughing along with just pure happiness going on at this establishment. Things moved quickly and steady and we went from fourth in line to being served within about five minutes. We were greeted and thanked for visiting the MOD Pizza. We asked about the establishment and their product and were professionally and thoroughly told all we needed to know. We ordered two pizza's and a salad and the employees went through the whole process with us step by step explaining their options, selection and process once again. Graham was the first to help us and he got things started in such a professional way I was almost disappointed when we got passed onto Ricky. Ricky also was amazing as he made recommendations and helped with our choices. Then came the Oven Professional, Cierra, and got our Pizza's cooking. Graham, Cierra and Ricky made our food and dining experience a very delicious and delightful experience. Three very well trained and professional service oriented young adults. I recommend this pizza joint as a choice, if you are in the area and need a quick bite to eat. The Food, Service, Cleanliness, Ethics, Drive, Professionalism and their desire for us to return was so amazing and obvious. It's a great place for a good meal before a movie or after a day on the Mountains skiing, hiking, biking or if you are just out for a drive. Great Food and Fun! read more

Here's the deal, the food was great. This review is not about the food. The crew at this store makes it seem like a funeral parlor. Went in yesterday and ordered fairly simple pizzas, one of which was a menu option. Both people helping us couldn't remember anything we said. They don't speak loud enough to hear and worked very slowly. The only person that seemed to be working hard was the guy cooking. He was polite and made sure we didn't need anything else before leaving. Pizzas were great, MOD never disappoints. Not a single employee smiled or seemed happy.
