Rated low *LACK* - because of lack of customer care & lack of listening skills. Lack of care in building the burgers/food. ~ ****((Hey staff- this is an opportunity to do better, a teachable moment- be present-put yourself in a hungry customers shoes))**** ~ if your location is open .... ANSWER THE DRIVE THRU OR at least say your closed, when we can see you in the window with several others before 9:40pm. *About the only item I'll get is HOT fresh fried zucchini* ~ ----- Drive through TIPS ----- ~ *must remember to ask 2x for sauce at speaker & 2x at the window, check the bag or you will leave without it. Or have something like this...(photo for reference.) ~ Today we ordered 2 combo meals with large fries, and asked for extra dip- those are what we got for 2 large combos. 1/4 filled, maybe less. C'mon guys, get it together! ~ Easy peasy-

I got the Western Bacon Cheese Burger and fries. Ray got the Baby Back Rib Burger, Jalapeno Double Cheese Burger, and Chicken Tenders.

This Carl's Jr. has been at this location for a long time. The building looks pretty average. The inside is clean, not anything impressive. It's usually empty. The bathroom is pretty dirty though. There were flies and paper towels outside of the garbage bin. The burgers were average. They didn't forget anything in my burger or anything in my order. The food was fine. It was just fast food. We have been through the drive-thru and have dined in, but the workers there were fine. They took our orders and served us our food. The manager, however, is a different story. When we went through the drive-thru, Ray ordered an extra order of Chicken Fingers last minute and was asked to pull around to the front. We were pulling to the front, but the manager yelled something at us about how there is no second drive-thru. It wouldn't have been rude if he hadn't said it in a way that made it sound like we were stupid. He went inside and so did Ray to retrieve his Chicken Fingers, and once the manager went inside he started yelling at the workers. Ray said he felt very awkward and couldn't wait to get out of there. The only reason I go here occasionally is because this is the closest Carl's Jr. location to me, but out of all of the fast food options, I would not recommend this Carl's Jr. I haven't had any problems with the food, but some of the people there are not the greatest.

We were out near this Midvale location the other day. It's just south off the 215 freeway on Union Park Ave. It's in the big Walmart shopping center. WE pull in and there easy parking. The line isn't too long as we go inside. Inside is way cooler temp wise than eating in the Suburban. Plus you get all the drink refills you want. This visit I got it in my mind to try something different other than my normal Double Double. I ordered a "3X3" animal style extra grilled onions and put the lettuce and tomato on the side. I never had a 3x3 before and wanted to see it it was that much better than a regular Double Double. It was only like $1.70 I think more. One other guy on my crew did the same. I asked for the lettuce and tomato on the side, cause I thought the additional height of this 3x3 might be too much for my mouth to open. Our orders come out and wow, that 3x3 sure has a lot of melted cheese all flowing out of it! I hate when the cheese isn't melted! OK, Here goes my 3x3, I open wide and ease that meaty goodness into my mouth. Biting down, it is a different experience than a regular Double Double. More meat centric with out the lettuce and tomato. The buns were toasted well and there was a crunch from that. I did like the 3x3, but I think the Double Double is a more balanced burger experience. That familiar taste of the Double Double wasn't there, more just meat and cheese, but yeah lots of meat. I'm glad I thought to give this 3X3 a try animal style, but I think next time I'll stick to the Double Double animal style with my extra grilled onions. This bug meat burger was enough for lunch so I skipped the fries. A 4 X 4 is the biggest option In N Out will make, but that way too much meat to fit in my mouth!

The bacon was crisp cooked fresh, the cheese melty, and the jalapeños added the perfect kick. The fries were sooo fire!! -- freshly sliced, nonuniform, so you get the best of both worlds with some thick and some thin. Crispy, golden, and salty in all the right ways. The whole place has that retro drive-in vibe with Route 66 and Coca-Cola signs everywhere, giving it an old-school diner feel. On top of all that, The service was great help giving a solid recommendation!! It's definitely a vibe!! Overall, classic food done right. Maybe a little pricier but definitely recommend stopping by if you're craving a solid burger and fries.

Had to try this after seeing the reviews. I'm a big fan of A&W and wanted to compare. Both are…read morecomparable, but A&W still has the edge, albeit a small edge. I ordered the combo which comes with their flagship cheeseburger, fries, and a frosty mug of their famous rootbeer. All was yummy. The bun was soft and fresh. The fries were good. The rootbeer was outstanding. I would say that while good, I like A&W's burgers are better. While Big H's burgers are good, I like A&W', Mooyah, and In-N-Out's better. The rootbeer? Almost the same as A&W's. Very good. Almost close to A&W's flavor. While Hire's rootbeer is excellent and has long been one of my favorite beverages, A&W's rootbeer is smoother and slightly more creamy. The fires were really good, but again, A&W's are better, at least in my opinion. A&W's fries have a nice slight crispness to them. Overall, as far as the food is concerned, very worthy. The service was good, this is a sit down restaurant and you will be waited on, so prepare to pay a tip. Speaking of prices, I was surprised as how expensive it was. The combo was $16, $17. I think about going to In-N-Out and getting a #1 Double Double with fries and a drink for $10 and some change. For that reason alone, I will not be returning for the food. However, I would be back for maybe their rootbeer floats. I saw a table with some and they look awesome. Tall mountain of soft serve ice cream in that frosty mug of rootbeer. Looks like it would be worth the $7 for it. The service was fairly fast. Getting the initial service was sort of questionable. Been there for about five minutes on my lunch break, no biggie. But I got concerned that a lady who sat down at a table next to mine sat down after me got the attention of a waitress and I hadn't ordered yet. So after that waitress took the lady's order, I called her over and she took my order. She explained that she was actually working the drive-through but she would be happy to take my order, which she did. The restaurant for the most part is one big room with lots of tables. There are some interesting things on the walls, but other than that kind of sterile, but not a big deal. While not packed, there were many customers in the room at this time, which was around 11:30. Probably about 30% full. So the menu and the prices are not an issue with many. As a matter of fact, there was a group of 6 next to me that seemed like business colleagues out for lunch. All the help was friendly and cheerful. As a matter of fact, the help that bussed the table asked if I wanted a cup of rootbeer for the road. How nice, what a nice touch. Check it out. I think you'll like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
