I would give this place 3.75 stars. It was pretty good. We got a pizza with pepperoni and banana peppers, an order of buffalo wings, and a Greek salad. The wings were decent and I say that as someone married to a former Buffalo restaurant cook. My wing bar is set high and these wings were pretty good. The salad was decent though they forgot to send the salad dressing (we ordered pickup). The pizza was decent. I liked the crust a lot. Chewy insides, crispy crust. I wish there had been more sauce. The toppings were fine. True test: it was really good for breakfast the next morning. read more

We came today for the lunch buffet. Immediately there was no pizza available, so we got some salad and a breadstick. Only one pizza came out in probably the first 20-30 minutes we were there. The regular plates must have been dirty, so there were paper plates. Maybe they weren't expecting a lunch rush, but there were only about seven other people in the restaurant. All of us were anxiously waiting for more pizzas to arrive. Eventually more came out. They had pepperoni, Hawaiian with chicken, and a supreme. They have remodeled, and the buffet area is much smaller. Not as many options as they used to have. The salad bar had a few options as far as toppings, go, as well as four or five different dressings. They also had a macaroni salad and a potato salad. All of the salad bar options were fresh. Although the experience was disappointing today, the pizza quality is always pretty good, especially on specialty pizzas that are made to order. read more

I went to get the pizza & they told me the pick up time is off & will be another 25 mins . There were people waiting everywhere for their orders . First timers. No one else here the whole time we ate, but it was an "off" time -- around 3pm Sunday. We ordered a Large, half n half. One side Pike's (meatlovers) and one traditional pepp. Crust had nice crunch, not flimsy. Healthy amounts of toppings, including cheese. A bit greasy but I blame the toppings. I highly recommend the garlic knots - really tasty. Not overwhelming garlic. My hubby started with salad bar -- says it was good and liked that it had pepperoni as an item. Our ever ongoing quest to find a favorite pizza place in Utah continues. Wanted to love it but sadly did not. I don't even know how to say this other than to just get right down to it. The pizza (The Everest l) was over topped leaving it almost undercooked with huge chunks of green peppers and mounds of olives that we literally had to flick off to even get to the non crunchy crust. Had the toppings been proportioned a distributed a little wiser maybe it could have cooked and crisped up the crust. The pizza was cut very strangely too with super large pieces and super skinny little slices. We also ordered the garlic honey wings and those were very good. They were crunchy full of sticky sweet garlic honey sauce. Those we enjoyed thus earning them 2 stars. read more

This is hands-down the best pizza place ever. Over the years I've tried many different Pizza places and I've decided Mountain Mikes truly has the best! I always find myself coming back here. First off the customer service is fantastic. Everyone I've interacted with is very nice, and friendly. Second I love how accurate the time frame of when your food will be ready is. I drive 20 minutes one way just to get this pizza (because it truly is the best) and every time I've ordered, the time frame they tell me is spot on. My pizza is always fresh and delicious! My personal favorite is Pikes peak which has Italian sausage, pepperoni, beef, salami, linguica, and ham. The last few times I've asked for extra sauce, and it's been so good to get it with the extra sauce. Their marinara sauce is truly the best. This place is totally worth the 40 minutes round trip it takes me to come here. Do yourself a favor and when you're craving some good pizza try Mountain Mikes! read more

I eat at Mountain Mikes at least once a month. I usually go here on Sundays and what Sports on the big screen TV and enjoy Pizza and Soda. I always get "PIKES PEAK" Pizza. It is an All Meat Combo. Mounds of Italian sausage, pepperoni, beef, salami, linguica and ham on classic red sauce. What I love about this Pizza is the quality of the ingredients. Because of the quality of the ingredients the Pizza is one of the best tasting pizzas around. The service is normal Pizza Service. I was in the area and just wanted pizza. I found the closest one with great reviews and Mountain Mikes came up. Before I found them I had tried to order from a competitor. They would T let me order by phone nor pay in cash and were generally rude. Mikes answered the phone took my special order. They said they love cash. Who doesn't? They told me when it would be done and I could walk in to pick it up. Well what a great decision it turned out to be. Their pepperoni is the best ever. I remember dining in this restaurant years ago and not leaving thrilled with the experience. But I could not remember why, so I gave them another shot last night. I ordered online and had the pizza delivered. The online ordering platform was easy to use and allowed me to customize my pizza, which is a big selling factor to me and my diverse family of eaters. The pizza was delivered right on time, hot and fresh. The girl who brought it to us was friendly and courteous. The pizza itself was pretty good. I would have liked the mushroom pieces to be bigger rather than ground up so small. The sausage pieces, however, were large and flavorful. We brought a large group last week from out of town, and they happily accommodated us even in the limited space. We had a great time, and the pizzas were delicious. Toppings are plentiful and well suited. The chicken club was a group favorite especially! Loved that the slices are skinny on the mountain pies so they're easier to eat and sample each other's orders. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd come back. First and foremost pizza! This has one of the best supreme pizzas I have ever had. The McKinley pizza is out of this world. If you like it all then this is the one, we also had the garlic chicken with garlic white sauce, and it also was amazing. The pepperoni pizza was of the chain also. I ordered online which was well worth it, didn't have to wait. I came in with our family and it was hot and ready. The service was really good at the counter. It is a family atmosphere here with plenty of space to enjoy some delicious pizza. Really cool place to eat. My kids loved it and said it was our new favorite place to eat pizza. Mountain mikes is a great place to go for some great pizza. Is it a little more money than most? Yes, but you are getting the quality out of it. Our favorite pizza is the Buffalo chicken pizza. Since the business changes hands, things have slowly been declining. The silverware has been replaced with plastic. Unfortunately, 1. we had to track somebody down to get some. 2. plastic breaks really easy when used to eat pizza. Half the tables were unwiped and uncleared while 3 employees just visited. We took a booth, and since the only 3 available were still dirty, we took a clorox wipe from our van and cleaned it. There are boxes (other than pizza boxes) laying on counters. That being said, the lunch buffet has more than doubled in price, which to be honest, would not be an issue, if the food were FRESH and at least up to the standard people were used to that came to the "old Mountain Mike's." The salad was wilted, brown, and should not have been put out for consumption. The cucumbers were so old they were transparent. They don't put thin crust pizza out. No dessert pizza. Clean plate use was not only NOT encouraged or enforced, they were not available. There were people using their fingers grabbing pizza. When we inquired about the punch card we were wanting to use, we were told it would be "like fraud" since it's now under new ownership. The magnetic strip wasn't working so the employee went to get the manager for help. He came over with an attitude. Talking down to his employees and rude. Unfortunately, the owner of the restaurant was manning the cash register when I came to pick it up. after telling me numerous times that I must've placed the order at the wrong location or didn't place the order at all, he finally found the order. Based on his attitude he doesn't respect or appreciate the people giving him money to eat at his restaurant. We ordered 2 large pizza, 2 pounds of wings, and a GF pizza. The large pizzas seemed very small (we knew they were 14"), but when they got here, I was just surprised. The slices are about two inches wide at the top, so make sure you account for that when you're calculating what size to order. The "wings" are boneless. Although the website says there is an option for plain boneless, the other options all just say "wings," so that is what we expected. We also didn't receive our ranch. I should've checked to make sure. The flavor was okay. I liked the crispness of the crust. I guess I expected more for $100. I don't think we will return.
