To be fair, I took issue with a drive-through pizza joint from the moment I first heard the concept. Something seemed very wrong with it all. I asked, incredulously: "They make it before you get to the window"? My friend nodded in the affirmative, and pulled up to the take-out window. One small mushroom and pepperoni pizza and a Coke: $10.00... Ten dollars, please! This pizza better be damn good, I thought. And it would have been good, if I had been super drunk and starving at a music festival. It was literally thinner than the cardboard box it came in (See picture). The pizza looked like a paper frisbee golf disk printed to look like a pizza. My friend ate one piece and then flung the box in the back seat. I tried the pizza, too. I had one greasy bite. Life is too short for pizza this bad, people! My friend was in the bathroom with emergency diarrhea within 15 minutes of eating her piece of MOD pizza. I guess my little bite wasn't enough to poison me or my bite wasn't contaminated, thank God. Kids, save your money for $15 Bud Light Tall Boys at festivals. MOD pizza is a joke. read more

The only place in town that offers something similar to a Margareta Pizza and is really good. The people who work there are kind and very accommodating to dietary restrictions. I called the store to get the wrong pizza corrected and I was told I had to return both pizzas to the store before they would make a correction. Best family pizza night experience ever. We are on vacation and found this place by chance. We were all so pleased to discover that you get to pick whatever you want to put on your pizza. The price is based on the size of the crust and not on the number of toppings. My son ordered two meats and tomatoes. At the last minute he added croutons. I was skeptical at first but the extra crunch was perfect along with the pizza sauce. My daughter order a creamy garlic sauce with grilled chicken, spinach, mushrooms, olives, green pepper and tomato pizza. It was beautiful to look at before baking. read more

Your online presence is horrible. Your app has changed over and over and over again. My order has gotten screwed up by the Moscow idaho store numerous times. I've lost rewards. And to top it all off - I went to order today - no salads on the app or the web site - I call our store - they have no clue - it's like a bunch of children running the store - I can't talk to a manager - and I can't order over the phone. What a joke. I mean can you make it any harder to order food? Seriously - fix the Moscow store. Fix the app. Get some consistency in the online presence. read more

I get that they're probably understaffed like everyone else. That being said...four consecutive times that we've gotten takeout from the Mod in Moscow, they have messed at least one item in our order. If I'm there in person watching and reminding them, "I said basil, not red pepper flakes" or some other weird mistake, then the food is good. But they can not seem to get it right when we do takeout. After the last time, I called and told them they left two ingredients off my pizza, the girl on the phone said the manager wasn't there, so I could either call on Monday, OR she could offer me a free soda tonight...because driving all the way back for a soda will somehow make my pizza taste like the one I ordered? And calling back two days later isn't going to fix tonight's dinner either. So we're probably done with Mod Pizza in Moscow until we're back in the mood for disappointmen. read more

We recently took our Coug to MODs while visiting for Parents weekend. It was Sunday at 12p, (recently opened for the day). There was only 2 families in front of us and it took over a hour to get pizza. Seems like a poorly managed location. A lot of employees, but none really knew what to do or was moving quickly. When I finally got my pizza, the bottom was covered in black and smelled really bad like burn or char - (maybe their oven needs cleaning?). The top of the pizza wasn't burnt, but the foul odor covering the bottom was so bad, I couldn't eat it and I had to throw it away. We won't be going back. read more

Great pizza. I was going to order the small, but then figured I'd just get the "MOD" size and save the left-overs as it was just me. I ended up eating the whole thing because of how good it was. Pizza was thin crust, which I didn't mind but didn't realize at time of order. Regardless it was excellent and I'd eat there again, next time I'm in town. Staff was awesome also. read more

This is the only place I get pizza in town. The staff is always super nice and do not rush you and the pizza is always so good! I am usually not a fan of thin crust pizza but I still love Mod's. I highly recommend the Marionberry lemonade. If you haven't been to a Mod before the setup is a little weird and can be overwhelming. I do not recommend going through the drive through for your first time because there are so many choices. read more

We thought we would check this new (to Moscow) restaurant out for the first time, today. We arrived at 5:45, they were busy, but the wait wasn't too long. As we were standing in line to order, we looked around at the different tables and chairs and we noticed that they made sufficient room for big families/groups to dine in, which is a plus for us. We noticed a clear garage door across the restaurant that can be opened during nice weather (it led out to a nice sized patio with table and chairs). Behind the staff on the wall was the name of our city, next to the door that we came in was the Mod emblem in yellow with the words Go Vandals, which we found both to be awesome! The staff all seemed to be happy and efficient and the girl who helped us was very nice. We ordered an 11" and a mini pizza, we built our own (which, I just love the fact that they don't charge for extra toppings), I got a half and half, Veggie and Canadian Bacon and my daughter got a tomato and olive pizza. We paid for our pizzas and got water cups (they have the good ice!). We sat at a table over on the West end of the restaurant, not far from the garage door and while we sat there we noticed the surround of the pizza oven was decorated with small tiles in Vandal colors. The atmosphere of this restaurant is really nice, and although having an open floor plan, rather cozy. Within 7 minutes they called our name and we went up and got our pizzas. I was able to get fresh diced tomatoes on my pizza after it came out of the oven, yum! The pizzas looked very nicely baked and the toppings looked amazing. We took a bite of our pizzas and they were so good, they had great flavor, the cheese was melted to perfection, the crust had a nice crunch to it, as well as that brick oven taste. Overall, this restaurant is great, it is still new and we hope it doesn't change too much as years go by. The price is right, the atmosphere is great, and the food is wonderful, we will definitely be back. read more

Pizza tasted like cardboard, usually go to Porchlight thought I would try something new. Definitely disappointed. Porchlight is WAY better.

Pizza is decent. Service was terrible. I've never watched two employees make fun of a customer within sight of the customer until now. And the worst part, they were making fun of me. I walked up to the counter and one girl was standing there doing nothing. She looked at me, then turned to her coworker and said 'hey do you want me to take over the oven?' He said yes, she leaves me and another woman standing in line waiting. So now two people are standing at the oven working together, while two people are standing waiting. The oven guy starts to make his way to us, but takes a phone order on the way. Still waiting. Then the other girl flattening dough for future orders, says someone will be right with me. I asked, 'why would the other girl leave while people are standing here waiting?' Dough Girl was annoyed. Finally the dough girl comes to me, takes my order, and asks for my name. My name is Caren. I'm very aware that being a Caren at this time of #theinternet makes it impossible to say anything negative about anything without being mocked. But as a customer? Not a good look in the service industry. After my pizza gets in the oven, the two girls exchange words, look at me, giggle, and Dough Girl says "and then she tells me her name. Perfect right?!" This all because I complained that a very capable person didn't opt to help me, a waiting customer, before offering to take a different position on the floor forcing me and another women to continue waiting. After they gave me my pizza, I told Dough Girl she shouldn't make fun of customers right in front of them. She made some excuses about being understaffed, and I said 'the point is, you shouldn't make fun of your customers. Period.' Way to insult a customer. Previous customer. I won't be back and I will tell people about this. read more

The pizza is just ok. The salads are pretty good. But the customer service at this location is awful. I watched the guy boxing up the pizzas pick his nose, and the girl who asked for my order was rude and slow. The place was a mess as well. I waited 30 minutes for what they call "super fast" pizza. Ordered online. Showed up when the app said it was gonna be ready (23 minutes after ordered), sat in my car another 10 minutes until the app said my order was ready. Went inside to be told they were "working on them", which I found out meant they weren't even in the oven yet. 20 minutes later, I got my food. This is the norm at any mod pizza I've been to. Two stars because the pizza is damn good. My automatic 15% tip when ordering days are over though. read more

I ran my car over the curb in their parking lot and got really stuck in the snow and slush late at night. The employees who were closing saw me trying unsuccessfully to back it out and came over to help. With some ratchet straps and one of their cars we got it unstuck before too long, but I definitely would not have been able to get it out by myself. Thanks MOD! read more

I would have gave a 4 or 5 star because the pizza is always great! But the last time I was in, I was with 3 other people and they made a point that they were going to fire all of our pizzas at the same time so they come out together. They called the name and everyone's pizza was there except mine. The guy was just like "idk man you'll just have to wait" so I sat down and waited for 10-15 minutes, I got back up to ask what was going on and the guy said "oh they put on too much cheese we had to remake it". There was barely any cheese on my pizza so I called BS in my head. He told me kind of rudely "sit down and we will call you when it is ready". Everyone I was with was on their last couple bites of pizza and mine wasn't out yet. I got up to ask again and at that moment my pizza came out. When he handed me the pizza he said "sorry man better luck next time". I was so annoyed with this guy and I had to sit and eat my pizza and have everyone watch me because they were all finished. read more

I ordered 4 pizzas and a salad, and frankly, just not impressed. The cheese pizza barely covered half of it. In fact, I had one piece that didn't have any cheese on it! Really was a disappointment. $50 worth of pizza (after tip and salad - tried cauliflower crust on a couple), and out of 5 people eating, NOT ONE actually enjoyed the pizza. The salad was a $6 small bowl of lettuce - although the caesar dressing was legit. Frankly, I don't plan on ever ordering from them again - my curiosity is quenched. Want a good slice of pizza?
