I've been to this location before maybe like 2 months ago or so and service and food was good. Today we walked in and it looked like they were busy but as busy it was the last time I came and this time around my family and I stood in line for 10min with out it moving. Line was moving really slow and looked like employees lacked a sense or urgency. Recommend they train their employees better or figure out a solution to the slow moving line. The pizza at this location was just as delicious as the other, and it was good to see that they were continuously making sure the different toppings were always available. This was around 8:45pm and the toppings were fresh and full, unlike my experience at the Sugar Land location in Greatwood. My only real complaint at this location was that the staff were too busy chatting and joking with one another while we were anxiously waiting in line to be served. One of the staff saw us waiting, but continued to make new fresh pizza dough sizes when there were already plenty enough to at least start our order. We were wondering what was taking so long when there was only one person ahead of us and no one behind us. I like that there is a location close to home, and the food was just as delicious, but I think the staff needs to be a little more professional and attentive to their customers needs. This was my first time ever visiting Mod Pizza. At first I was overwhelmed by all of the choices. I was with my frat brothers and the lady who took our order explained how everything worked. OMG! The selection of toppings was amazing and the ending results was simply delicious. Now that this as a compliment for two reasons. (1) ... I'm not a fan of tomato or marinara sauce, but they offered pesto .... Music to my ears. (2) it didn't cause acid reflux or heart burn for me later that night. Instant win!!!! I like the concept of this place, being able to "build your own" pizza on an assembly line! They have some pre-conceived pizzas for those who lack imagination or maybe are just too lazy to come up with their own concoction. I was really thinking I wanted to go the lazy route and perhaps try the calexico, but idk ... buffalo sauce on a pizza? What might that be like? I opted to do Mod size and add red sauce, sun dried tomatoes, mozzarella, chicken, jalapeños ... you get the idea ... a bunch of stuff on a pizza that I can NEVER order when El Hubbo and I are sharing because he hates the pizza toppings that I love! The crust is thin ... I mean really thin, so it comes out rather crispy. I do like it that thin because I don't go into a carb coma by the end of the meal. I think, though, that the MOD might have been just a little more food than what I was wanting (maybe 1/2 slice too much), so next time I think I'm going to do 2 minis and really mix it up. I will say it was hard at times to hear whose name they were calling out because the noise level is a little loud, thankfully a bearded guy shouted out our names so we had no issues hearing. They do offer some beers and other non-alcoholic beverages, and you can also get salads here. I am a MOD lover but what I witnessed while waiting to place my order was discomforting. Long line which is not the issue at all, one of the team members worked on a few orders, grabbed ingredients from the fridge to refill the topping bar, and continued to work on customers orders. It's one thing to work on multiple orders with the same gloves but to touch appliances and not replace gloves is unsanitary. Her set of gloves were wet and the same pair for a good 25 minutes. I was very displeased since I had been wanting MOD for a few days now and it was my sister's 1st experience, I hope I can convince her to give the company another shot (different location of course). read more

My family is been coming to this particular MOD Pizza for a long time. It's my daughters favorite restaurant and both kids love the playground. It pains me to write this review but it needs to be said. We went in a few days and it was a disaster. The restaurant was an absolute mess. Almost every topping was empty. The toppings they did have were on the station behind the main. The employees kept grabbing cheese, lettuce and other product by the handful to use on the line. Cheese was everywhere on the floor, in various bins and mixed in with the sauce. It was filthy. The crazy part is that at least the people were working. How can a place be that filthy with so many people working? My wife and I actually made a joke about the odds of us getting food poisoning. The drink station was sticky and had debris/ice everywhere. We took our food outside and ate where we normally do next to the playground. The wind was blowing napkins, pizza crust and other trash. It was disgusting. The garbage can had a nice aroma as well. We decided that this would probably be our last trip to this location. Luckily they're building one right around the corner. I visited Mod Pizza today on Pearland Parkway and my experience was simply Amazing! From the time I walked in the door,the customer service was beyond Fabulous! The team works really together and they compliment one another with working together to provide excellent customer service. Not only is the pizza simply delicious but the staff was attentive and catered to the customer's needs. Some of the staff members that went above and beyond the call of duty were David, Matt and Tony, these are great guys. I informed David that I have been out of the country for quite some time and I have not been able to enjoy Mod's pizza due to there not being any stores overseas in Kuwait where I currently reside. After I informed David of this, he definitely ensured that my experience was nothing less than 5 star. The pizza is awesome and so are the people working in the Pearland Parkway location.
