Everything is customizable, and our order was PERFECT!! I'm so fat and happy right now. It's obvious the ingredients are fresh, and I'm in a flavor bomb right now. Thank you so much, MOD Pizza, we are loyal customers for as long as your Update: went into the store tonight after work and was met by the most droll woman serving up the pizza. She seemed kind of rude at first, but as we talked to her, she really was very friendly. As a retail worker, I understand how annoying it is when you are trying to get everything closed up and people show up hindering you from your closing duties. But she didn't show that at all, and the first thing I did was apologize for being in so late (we got off at 9, they close at 10.) I give her a lot of kudos bro being so cool, and she was just great. I wish I had gotten her name. That being said, this business is just awesome. I mean what pizza place lets you make your own pizza and doesn't charge you extra no matter how many toppings you want? And has the best blackberry lemonade I've ever had? I won't describe the pizza I had, but it had a LOT of veggies (especially artichokes, olives, and mushrooms) and a ton of cheese (4 different ones, and a little meat. The only thing on it that I ordered that I didn't like was the salami...I'm big on cited meats, but there was some kind of spice in theirs that didn't agree with my palate at all, but that's not their fault. We took our pizza to go, because we didn't want to hold up their closing duties any more than we already had, and when we got it home, we were both overwhelmed by how amazing it was. I'm not normally a crust girl unless I have something to dip it into (marinara preferred, but ranch works in a pinch) but the crust was absolutely MAGNIFICENT. Not too thick, not to thin. The perfect in-between. And it was fun to watch her make it by hand. She was so skilled while being so young...it was incredible. She gave us two HELLA GOOD pizzas, with everything we wanted, cooked in a REAL pizza oven right before our eyes, and we walked out of there with 2 pizzas and 2 drinks (that are also made in-house) all for $22. Whoever created this company is INSANE, and basically my hero. Also, they are a VERY charitable company, and they even have these beautiful little "no name" cakes that are made by workers with Downs Syndrome or other ailments, and they donate the proceeds to charity. Fun new pizza place on Riverdale Road! They have classic pizzas (or salads) you can choose from or you can create your own. No matter how many toppings you choose it's all one price. Tons of choices for toppings. I made my own (red sauce, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, bacon and basil leaves). It was delicious. With the cauliflower or gluten free options. Sold! So second round I went crazy I'm talking about a long receipt of listed toppings. Then this okder woman named Charli, I guess, started a rant amongst her coworkers about how online orders are not her priority and that those people can come in and order just like everyone else. It was plain that she thought she was hilarious and was feeding off the laughs of her young male coworkers. Meanwhile, I'm just there, the butt of her joke just waiting patiently. We went to Mod Pizza after attending an event so we got there pretty late in the evening. The young men working there were fun and friendly and started our experience out right. You can order a pizza here with as many toppings as you want and there is no extra charge! Who wouldn't love that? Make up your own or choose from a list of favorites. The pizza was good and we finished the meal off with some "No Name Cakes" -- they were delicious. Really glad we stopped in and we will be back. read more

Not sure what is up with this place. Don't get me wrong they have good pizza. And the price isn't too bad. And as a bonus my grandson likes the pizza. But their service is a little sketchy sometimes. For example first time here my pizza just disappeared. Everyone in my group got their food went to ask about mine. They had no idea where it was. They remade it but I had to get it to go as everyone was done eating by then. The next time we went my pizza got dropped twice. They did give us a couple of coupons for free pizza so that was cool. Then another time we got there around 730 in the evening and they were out of the regular sized dough so had to get two small ones. But we still go back because once you get your pizza it is good. They said when I called "oh it's not ready yet". 10 minutes passed, literally nobody in the store and 4 people working, I walk in to cancel my order because my husband came in and they said they just put it in and it'll be ANOTHER 10 minutes... and they're slower than slow even doing that as my child is screaming in the car. 45 minutes for their "sale" pizza and 2 kids cheese pizzas with salami and black olives.... I've been twice now, and I've done the 11 inch Build Your Own pizza. There are a ton of topping choices for no extra charge. The crust is a thin crust and tastes great. I think it's reasonably priced for the amount of toppings you can add onto it. The wait is not too long once it's in the oven and you can have a complimentary sauce topping afterwards. It's a little small inside so finding a seat during a rush could be a problem. If you go during a rush, and live close by, I'd get it to go. The staff is very friendly. This is actually too high of rating. Employee did not know the ingredients to the Greek salad. I had too read it to him from the board. They were also out of cucumbers at 4:00 pm! After we paid we discovered that there was no ice in the fountain, "ice machine is broken". Can't give you a refund because there is no manager here. That's very obvious!! There are also several finishing sauces. An employee gave me a recommendation on my last visit to add the spicy honey sauce prior to baking for even more in-depth flavor. A couple of crust options are available. I like the thin crust. The crust is good but not as flavorful as some baked in wood-fired ovens. Mod's oven is gas fired. My family loves MOD Pizza. It is much better than the copy-cats springing up on the Wasatch front. This is our favorite location. We have received consistantly good service and food from The Riverdale store. We are from the East Coast and love that this pizza is wood fired, crispy, and thin! And the choice of toppings is excellent! We don't like the breadsticks as this is one time when the thinness of the crust is a detriment. This was our third visit to Mod Pizza, so obviously we love it! My husband and son love the build-your-own menu because they can throw absolutely everything on their pizza. I'm a little more conservative--I usually go with one of their suggested pizzas and I haven't been disappointed yet. Tonight I tried the Phoenix: sausage, roasted peppers, mushrooms, Asiago and a balsamic fig drizzle atop a white sauce. It was incredible! But what's most incredible is the staff. As we sat down at our table I noticed a homeless man sitting in the corner with just a drink on his table. Several of us saw that he had no food and gave him money to buy a pizza, but the line was long and he seemed to want to wait until things died down. He didn't have to. One of the workers noticed him too and quietly set a pizza in front of him. I have always enjoyed Mod Pizza and last Friday night my husband and I decided to eat there for dinner. I was very disappointed and am wondering about the management. We had planned to order one of the salads and the girl making them had to get a book out to figure out what to put on it. As we looked at the lettuce, we changed our minds. The selection of lettuces looked very old. It was brown, wilted and slimy. Our pizzas were fine but the restaurant appeared to be very dirty. The drink area was in disarray and a few of the specialty drinks were completely out and looked like they hadn't been cleaned forever. I had a hard time eating there and my appetite was ruined by the condition of the restaurant. I will think twice about visiting this location again! read more

I've been excited to try this place for quite a while. Finally was able to give it a shot today with some friends and needless to say it didn't disappoint. The crust tasted really well and had a nice crunch to it because it was a relatively thin crust cooked in a brick oven. The pizza I ordered contained red sauce, pepperoni, salami, bacon, red onion, green peppers, asiago cheese, as well as mozzarella cheese. Upon finishing in the oven it was topped with a sriracha ranch drizzle that was phenomenal. Highly recommend this place. Wow what a mess. This place is so disorganized it's hard to fathom anything worse. Placed an online order for curbside pickup. No one answered the phone. Went inside and tons of people were waiting for their orders. They couldn't figure out the name for each pizza coming out so they would yell out ingredients. They started piling up the unclaimed orders. I found some of my pizzas in that pile. I waited 40 minutes for my last two pizzas that never came. Watching the kitchen was like a comedy of errors. The manager only wanted to make pizzas and didn't bother to organize the workers. No one knew their job well. The cook dropped a pizza on the floor and then picked through the ingredients to make a new one. It was probably one of mine. I finally took two unclaimed pizzas and got out of there. It was very unorganized as there were many online/ call-in orders that they were trying to jumble between the customers in store.
