We met here to celebrate some of my life long friends Birthdays. It's very modern inside and has lots of room. The service was great. The food was great too. I had their Carbonara. It wasn't the best I've had and not the worst. The funny thing is I brought half the of it home because the portions are huge and it tasted better the next day. Your dinner includes a small salad, it was delicious and I used their house Italian dressing which was really tangy and yummy. My favorite thing though were their rolls. I swear I could just eaten about 12 of those! They bring you oil and vinegar for dipping and it was hard to not just drink it with every bite of those delicious rolls. In fact I'm going to call their Salt Lake Location and ask if they sell them separately. They were that good. We have driven past this restaurant countless times and there is always a line and a ton of people out in the parking lot. We finally tried it on a Thursday night when there was no line. The sterile looking environment with stock photos of food were a bit underwhelming for me. The service was friendly and quick and the garlic rolls were delicious. The food was about what I'd expect for Italian in Utah. Not authentic but also not bad. I'd definitely go back on a weekday but I don't think it's worth waiting out in the elements. read more

We came to Napoli Italian Restaurant for dinner. This is a place located in a shopping strip and parking is limited. The wait time to be seated was minimal for this place. There is room indoors for large groups. The hostess was friendly and professional. She seated us as soon as she was able to. Ariana was friendly and professional as well. She was prompt with our beverages and entrees. All the dishes were of generous portions. We truly enjoyed the rolls with the balsamic and vinegar side dish. So I've been back to Napoli's Italian Restaurant more times than I can count, but the food is always absolutely delicious. Unfortunately last time they did miss the mushrooms that I had added on with the Cannelloni and it was definitely lacking in cheese. However, these guys are usually a 10/10 so I'm just going to call that a "one off" (everyone has bad days, right)?! Anyways, the Pasta Sampler is just as spectacular as the first time each and every time. Tried the Stuffed Mushrooms appetizer with brandy cream sauce; only came with 5 but by God, are they delicious! I've learned to request my garlic bread extra crispy otherwise it's a bit undercooked (for me anyways). Tried the side of oil & vinegar and it makes an excellent dipping sauce for your included garlic rolls and dinner salad or just for dipping at home. Greatly appreciate they even did my sauce "extra spicy" upon request for the Stuffed Mushrooms. Always cooked to order and very fresh delicious Italian food. Highly recommend! read more

I order from here through a delivery service so i cannot speak to the service or the ambiance. What I can tell you, is that the food is amazing. I am obsessed with their chicken alfredo! The sauce is perfectly rich, creamy, buttery, salty and a bit nutty. The chicken breast was a full aized chicken breast that was cut into strips. It had a nice golden brown color. It was very moist and seasoned exceptionally well. The noodles also weren't over cooked. My husband loves their shrimp scampi. He lived in Italy for 2 years and he said this is one of the Italian restaurants he has eaten at that reminded him the most of the food he ate in Italy. Highly recommend this place! read more

Came for lunch today and definitely not disappointed. The restaurant does not look like a chain and I think the food is great and very decently priced. I ordered shrimp diabalo and it is a bit spicy, but it was written on the menu and the waiter reminded me. I actually kind of liked the little kick. All other items on the menu looks good too. Before the food, they serve bread and olive oil balsamic vinegar mix. It gives a nice Italian ambiance and I really like it. My pasta is not as aldente as in Italy, but definitely not over cooked like many American/italian restaurants. The location and layout of the restaurant is nice too. If there is any possible updates, I would suggest adding a hook in the wash room to hang handbags. Highly recommend and we will return. read more

We recently moved to southeast Idaho, and have been looking for an Italian restaurant and there are none to be found. Headed to Salt Lake to catch a flight on a Sunday. Looked for an Italian restaurant in Salt Lake, but could find nothing that appealed to us. As we traveled down the freeway I stumbled across Napoli's, in South Ogden 2 miles out of our way . Oh my gosh, we came across Italian heaven. We are fairly well traveled, and this is the best Italian food we've ever had, and at such a reasonable price. The atmosphere was nice. The staff was awesome and the food was even better! My only disappointment was they didn't have any red wine to go with my beautiful Italian meal. Do yourself a favor and take the little detour off the freeway and check this place out. You won't regret it. Oh yeah, you better believe when I return home we're stopping at Napoli's! read more

My final meal here with a friend before our move. Sure hate leaving this restaurant behind. Big windows with lots of natural light, and white table cloths, even at lunch. Service by Arjeta was wonderful. Drinks never went empty and food was presented beautifully. Loved our stuffed mushrooms and the bread (of course!). Guest enjoyed the pasta sampler and had plenty of leftovers. I myself reveled in my linguine with white clam sauce that was just the right amount of white and not cheese laden. Even as I write this, I'm wondering how far away they deliver - just kidding. You owe it to yourself, if you want good Italian food, to give this a go. read more

The wait to get a table here is always long. The last time we came we had to stand outside along with plenty of others. They don't have a system like text or those little buzzers to let you know when you're next. It's just the person at the desk calling your name or recognizing your face. We were skipped over like 3 times. Finally my husband went in and told them he thought we had been missed. They were super apologetic and seated us next. The food here is decent for Italian food. I'm picky because my grandparents were Italian so I know what amazing Italian food is. The ambiance is ok. It's a bit loud and very open floor plan. Ask for a booth if you have a small enough party. Our server was awesome! Very attentive, glasses were always full, food came quick, and he was very kind. The real kicker here is the fact that you can't have a glass of wine with your dinner. This is why I typically end up at a different Italian place off 25th street. I removed a star for the issues with seating and I removed a star for no wine options. read more

Second time here in 6 months. First of all the 1st class service starts right from the beginning. Went to leave our name to get a table. Greeted and asked if I could wait for a minute so she could seat a table of 5. One minute later she was back and told me she found a table for 3 and seated us promptly. Saturday night at rush time. People everywhere and she calmly took control. Most places would be sit down and wait for 15-20 min until they figured out they had your table from the start. So simple, but rare in this day and age. Once seated our server greeted us and brought us water. He was back very soon taking our orders. We had the stuffed mushroom appetizer. We were enjoying it soon after ordering. Less than 10 min. It was fantastic! Large mushrooms with a read sauce and cheese. I could have just that for my entree and be satisfied. My wife ordered the Salmon Picata. She was very pleased with her selection. Salmon was cooked perfectly. My sister and I had the Napoli Chicken. It was served over spaghetti noodles with a very good wine reduction sauce. On top of this came hot fresh rolls that were so good. The bread came with oil and balsamic vinegar to dip into. Again the server was great and very attentive. What a great evening we had. If I lived in the area I would visit at least once a month. I really wanted Napoli's to be awesome and as good as some of the better Italian places in SLC. We went on a Saturday and it was busy, but not bad, about 30 minutes. It's a nicer restaurant with white tablecloths but the clientele dress was very casual. I had a nice button down shirt, pants and dress shoes and my wife wore a cute summer dress and we were probably the best dressed there. Even saw someone in workout clothes, torn T-shirt and sports bra. Kinda funny, as I was walking in a lady holding a baby coming out literally kicked the door open, hard. I was trying to get there fast enough to open it for her and almost lost a hand. SLC is casual but a little better dressed. The best part of the meal was by far the rolls 5/5 and the service 5/5. Service goes throughout the meal, but for me a good barometer is how long dirty plates stay on the table, or do they even get picked up. The server was very friendly and kept the table clean all night long. The prices are reasonable and the portions generous. I ordered the pasta combo which includes Lasagna, Manicotti, Ziti pasta, cheese ravioli and Cannelloni. All in red marinara sauce that was a little boring and tasted mostly of tomatoes. I was surprised to find out that they make all their own pasta in house as the pasta was a little on the chewy side, not melt in your mouth as I would expect from fresh pasta. My favorite was the cheese ravioli. My wife had the Chicken Niccola and thought it was just okay. The meal came with rolls and salad which were both good. Pro tip: You can take a dozen rolls home for $6. Would be well worth it, but we were too full already. read more

My friend and I came in around 4:45 on a Thursday. Our hostess smiled and was welcoming and we were seated right away. The Ambiance gave you a cheerful feeling with some flower decoration and nice paintings to look at. There was some music playing in the background with some light rock songs that were some enjoyable, the volume was perfect. You could hear it if you listened but could still have good conversation without having to shout. We had an incredible waitress whos's name was Kate! She was knowledgeable on the menu and we were offered bread more than once. ( so glad! The rolls are delicious) I ordered the carbonara and Ranch on my dressing. The salad tasted fresh and the ranch was perfect! Carbonara was really good and the noodles tasted like they were homemade. The portions were nice sized and I am excited to have leftovers! This was our first visit to this establishment. The place is large with lots of tables and booths. We were seated shortly after entering. It took several minutes before our server came by to take a drink order. We asked for water and ice tea. Our server came back and took our order. I ordered the seafood combo and my wife ordered the lobster ravioli. We also ordered the brochette as an appetizer. Our server finally returned with our main dishes followed by the brochette and a side of bread. The bread would have been nice before the mains. My seafood combo was ok just never saw clams so small. My wife liked he dish. But said she has had better at other places. So not bad but not a place to remember. My husband, daughter, and I decided to go here for Valentine's Day. We stopped by at 4:00pm without a reservation and it was about a 20 minute wait which wasn't too bad. While we waited, the lobby was soon crowded with tons of people with the same idea. I felt like we just barely beat the huge rush. Once our party was called, we were seated at a cute little table with a white tablecloth. I immediately noticed a stain on the tablecloth when I sat down though. I didn't want to complain about it, so I just folded the corner of the tablecloth over the stain. It looked like someone eating there previously spilled some of their vinegar dip. I was able to cover it up, so it wasn't a big deal. I just hope they replaced the tablecloth after we left for the next people. We were able to look at the special valentine menu while we were waiting in the lobby, so we already knew what we wanted. They brought us out some bead with a vinegar dip and we also ordered some garlic cheese bread. They brought each of us a decent sized salad with ranch dressing. It was delicious and refreshing! When it was time to order, my daughter had the lasagna, I had the Little Italy, and my husband had the lobster Ravioli. We all were very happy with our food! My husband liked the flavor of his, but there wasn't much on his plate. If we go back, my husband definitely wants to get what I had. It was nice to be able to try both the red and white sauce. Everything on that plate was delicious! While we were finishing our meal, a waiter (blond hair...didn't catch his name) stopped by and asked so kindly if he could take our plates. We were really blown away with how professional he was! Our waitress was great too. She made sure our drinks were always filled and she even remembered who ordered which dish. Correction: the Yelp header "bring your own wine policy" is wrong. The restaurant has no liquor license, so that is disallowed. Service was like a two-step... quick, quick, slow, slow. We went for a special occasion, arrived early and were seated immediately. The room set up was a bit crowded, and the configuration was such that we were often making eye contact with diners at other tables. Sadly, we could not consume the wine we brought on the strength of the Yelp profile but we pivoted. A charming waiter took our drink order. We had a chance to review the menu and ordered an appetizer, Burrata Caprese, which came promptly, but the famous rolls did not, nor did the waiter reappear to take our dinner order. We waited a bit then flagged down a different server to request them to enjoy with our appetizer. The appetizer was tasty, but proportionately off ... the cheese portion was large and we ran out of greens, olives and tomatoes quickly. We eventually finished the cheese by spreading on the very tasty garlic rolls. We placed our order to the waiter once he brought our rolls, salads were brought (with dressing in little plastic cups to pour ourselves?) and then the real wait began. Watching tables around us be seated, and served their entrees, took over as the theme of our dinner conversation. Our waiter was not in the room, apparently occupied in the kitchen, and since we'd already had to flag another server at the start of our meal we were hesitant to do so again, thinking perhaps we'd upset them. At one point, nearly an hour after our arrival, about the time several neighboring parties who had arrived after us were departing, we marked the time and set a ten minute countdown for when we'd leave and consider the rolls and burrata our meal. Finally! Our food arrived, with a quick aside from our waiter about how he was trapped in the kitchen (for dinner???). My husband enjoyed the Little Italy combo, and I the Chicken Gorgonzola. Thankfully , our food was hot, and pretty tasty. Overall, while the food was good, with generous portions, and the server was sincerely courteous, the pacing of our meal was either very fast or very slow, and that awkward cadence was frustrating. Overall, I'd say this is a better place for a lunch or informal family dinner, not a special occasion. I have some serious concerns about hygiene in this restaurant. Two visits and both brought up hygiene concerns. WE WILL NOT BE BACK. 1st visit: On 8/24/25 on arrival the restaurant looked family owned but with a nice ambience. After a long ride, I decided to go to the restroom before being sat. Since they're only two stalls, I was waiting (no biggie) . While waiting an employee comes out of the handicap stall looks in the mirror but does not wash her hands. With me being a little bit of a germaphobe I was concerned but she wasn't our waitress. She was on the other side of the restaurant. We highly debated leaving. Our meal was good and the leftovers the next day were the same amazing quality. Visit 2: On 9/21/25 around 4pm we decided to revisit the restaurant since we were in the area. The restaurant was fairly empty we were sat immediately to a dirty table. There were black specs I presume to be pepper all over the table and there was oil on the table. We asked a waitress to come wipe the table, she said she was very embarrassed apologized and helped try to wipe down the table. Unfortunately, some of the stuff was stuck to the table so we asked for the rag so we can clean the table ourselves. We tried to let that experience go because things happen then they bring our drinks. My drink has something bright orange stuck to the outside of the glass so my boyfriend looks in his glass to find something bright orange floating in his strawberry lemonade. We asked the busser at the table next to us to bring our waitress so we can explain what happened and leave. Poor girl was apologetic and embarrassed. Sad because it seems to be a nice family owned restaurant with great food at a great price but if these are the hygiene issues I see in my face I don't want to imagine what happens in the kitchen.
