They've always come in when they're busy so not sure if that's what the hold up is? The guy behind the counter was slow which would have been ok but then when he was done making the persons pizza he was working on he stopped to refill the line (while another team member stood around just watching) and then proceeded to make online orders instead of serving the rest of the party in front of me and servicing myself. Has to be one of the worst mod pizza locations. When you walk in, they don't even greet you even after having several eye contact with you. You have an employee who has her back turned most of the time and literally you're standing there ready to order and she's doing other orders online first until she gets to you. I waited 15 minutes standing there with NO one in the establishment. Just another employee sitting down putting boxes together. The food area was so dirty and mixed in with other ingredients, i was shoOk. There was NO one inside but myself considering it was after lunch rush, i would've expected the tables wiped down but i had to help myself. I mean you can't really mess up the pizza it was fine. However just like the on going trend of having the right staff this place is also In the same boat. It's Sunday the place isn't even that busy inside and we ordered our food online 30 minutes ago. Walk in for the order and they had no clue about my order in fact all the online tickets had been placed on a post like decoration no one was paying attention . One employee started on the orders because more of the customers started rolling in their expected time slot to find out same situation as us. People that walked in and made their order got their pizza before me. Instead of ALL the employees being hands on deck one decided to call the manager and argue with them on the phone (so professional) I get it a lot of places are short staffed and having to work harder but having to wait an extra hour after your order is unexcusable. Trust me we all deal with being understaffed but you make it work. Also they were out of no name cakes so we were given the peppermint ones no offer of refund or discount for inconvenience and my kids won't eat them so wate of money and time. Two stars because the pizza was good... I hate leaving a bad review based on customer service for these types of places, because I know first hand how hard the employees work. That being said, my experience at this location particularly stood out because of how bad the customer service was. The employees could care less- they didn't care to look at you, they were impatient, and they did not even return a smile or a "hi there". I went from excitement about pizza to stress because I felt like I was a burden... for ordering pizza at a pizza place... And maybe it's true, that they could care less. However, based on my experience with other locations and other companies with a similar concept (like Chipotle), there IS such thing as good customer service at places like this, and so many times I've been pleasantly surprised by this. Pretty simple place. Pick your size of pizza, unlimited toppings, and bake. Tasty, relatively priced (with the exception of a side salad which is the same price as a small pizza). My main concern about dining this particular time was that the guy who made my pizza had long hair, almost to his shoulders, and he was wearing a hat, but did not secure his hair behind him or at all. It simply was hanging free. I noticed everyone else had a hat on, short hair, or if they had longer hair they had secured it. The lemonades are out of this world. I had to search and see what time they closed...this location closes at 10pm why are you "out" of toppings?? Our experience was great with them, already been a few times and every time they didn't disappoint. If you aren't sure why you would like on your pizza they have certain suggestions, but I dare you to make something on your own taste and you will love it. The hand made dough and crispy once it comes out of the brick oven just gives it such a scrumptious taste. Also before you get out of there don't forget to try their different unlimited refills lemonades, they are THE BOMB. Their pizza was good but when we went there about 3 weeks ago there were a couple of gnats flying around in the dining area. Today there was an infestation of gnats which kind of made it unbearable to eat and have a conversation while you are shooing away the gnats from the food and yourself. I asked management about the infestation and they said they are working on it but can't spray for gnats while customers are eating. The problem is management does not have someone specifically for cleaning the dining room area and taking out the trash. A little clorox with water would go a long way in cleaning up this location of the gnat infestation plus taking out the trash on a regular basis. This tea is $2.17 a glass and tastes like WATER! Today, I have spoken to the manager, Eric. I go to Mod somewhere in the Greater Houston/Woodlands/Spring TX area AT LEAST once or twice a week. No one has tea like this except at this location. It was this way about 6-8 weeks ago during a busy lunch rush. Today Eric said he would look into his machine and have someone check it. He then personally checked the tea containers at the counter and very kindly offered me a refund or free pizza. I declined because that was NOT what I wanted. I just wanted to make awareness that they have a very good quality tea and it needed tweaking! He and his staff (all awesome by the way) were right on it to keep to the HIGH MOD standards!! I love the concept and you can never go wrong if you go with the 'build your own' option since you choose the ingredients. Price is average considering you can have as many toppings as you want. Only negative thing - there seems to be a 50/50 chance your pizza will be burnt. Usually it's not so bad, I just break off the charred bits. This last time however it was so burnt it was not edible, they remade it for me without complaining though. read more

Finally got a chance to try them out. I love the number of topping options they have and the three pizza sizes to choose from. The crust is a bit too thin, so thin that the edges of my pizza was burnt and not edible. I'm not a big fan of red sauce so the option of the pesto sauce was perfect for me. I love the mod pizza in conroe. We were in the area so we tried the one here in Spring. The line went kind of slower than I am used to. Co for usually goes quickly. When we got to the front though, it was super rushed. I couldn't even understand the lady at first, she was going so quickly. She seemed kind of frustrated when I had to ask her to repeat herself twice. They were trying to ask what meats I wanted, while I was still in line by the greens... (due to a large family taking up the area) I asked to wait until the line moved up some. Once I got there, the food area was very messy. They were out of a few staple items, and there were mushrooms in several of the other veggie containers. Unfortunately they were out of most of what I get on the pizza. I have a somewhat minor allergy to mushrooms, so I couldn't get any of the veggies in stock, so I wasn't able to get anything on my pizza, which sucked. For the 10 min trip there, and the 20 min wait, it was just a huge letdown. A sign or two announcing they were out of items would have gone a long way. That, and not going so fast you are flinging food into all of the other containers..... We probably will not be back to this location. It's definitely left quite the negative impression. read more

Come here if you want the most uncomfortable dining experience ever. We show up to an employee who believed she was a BIRD. As we sat and ate our pizzas, we witnessed her shouting loud bird noises, random phrases, and weird sounds while she banged on the pizza counter... this had to be the weirdest and most unprofessional experience ever. We are not sure why other employees or manager did not say something and pretended like this was normal or acceptable. CROSS CONTAMINATION. So I'm vegetarian. Yes, I'm weird. But that's beside the problem. Problem is that they use the SAME knife to cut all pizzas. My vegetarian custom made pizza had a piece of HAM in there. I saw them make my pizza. I know it didn't fall in there, but i did notice they cut other pizzas before mine with the same fricking knife. And what a coincidence that pizza was a ham one. Coincidence? I think not. I was gonna say something when I saw the guy reach for the knife, but he cut it so fast i had no chance to even say anything. You might think I'm overreacting.
