The staff here is awesome. I just ordered a pizza for my wife and I and I thought they told me my pickup time was 8:15pm when in reality I was supposed to pick it up at 7:15pm. Larry offered to remake the pizzas with no hassle at all. They are very polite, professional, and very friendly. I never leave reviews but tonight they earned it. I will definitely be back soon. 2/22/23: This is by far one of the worst restaurant/fast food experiences I've ever had, so much so that we didn't even end up eating our pizzas. Everything was filthy, the man handling our food chose when to wear gloves as he was putting pizzas into the oven. When he did have gloves on, he would go from the oven to the register to handle customers cash without taking them off. The kitchen area was a disaster, cheese and toppings all over the place. Used cooking utensils all over the place and not in containers. Some of these same cooking utensils were being used to scrape the food off the ledge of the oven which he would then turn around and scrape any remaining crumbs or melted cheese off with the edge on the butcher's block counter top. The dough brought out from the kitchen was not covered and the person that brought it out had the two containers stacked on top of one another and pressed against his chest. The tin pans that the pizzas go on in the oven were being tossed into a container that has lived long past it's intended food grade life, I even questioned it was food grade or the last time it was cleaned while we waited for our pizzas. I would urge everyone that wants to eat here to reconsider or try another location. read more

I like that I could pick any topping and as many toppings as I want for one flat fee. I got a lot of toppings for my money. I even had the option of making a salad. Oh and check out the No Name cakes. They are like ding dongs. Very good. read more

This is actually a 3.5!!! Let me tell you why. I absolutely love the garlic cheesy bread. I've tasted the pizza but I haven't ordered it yet because I'm sooo stuck on this garlic cheesy bread (I order with extra olive oil) The only reason it gets a 3.5 is because of the wait time & tidiness. Two of my three visits have been pick up orders and the wait is quite lengthy. Also, each time I go the trash outside is overflowing and the flies are flockin!!! I don't think it's an unclean establishment but there's just a disregard to the trash outside. So there's that. Another + is the tea and lemonade. Omg. It's amazing. Wow! It's hard to be articulate when the only thing my brain is screaming is WOW! This is truly the best pizza. Everything is fresh and I love the ability to customize my pizza to my EXACT specifications. Those super heated ovens make this process soooo fast and I haven't even mentioned the price. The price, the price, the price! Economically priced just doesn't quite describe it. This location is very accessible for those who use wheelchairs or scooters. Those of us who are the walking disabled will need a little help. Standing in line to wait for my pizza was not an option for me and I, happily, had friends who took care of that for me. Even though it only took about 15 minutes I couldn't do it. Don't let that stop you from going because these pizzas are yummo; just be sure to bring your friends along. So it might not have been the best idea to come on a day when a high value coupon they sent out is due to expire, the wait was a bit long. I'll have to come back on another day to see if the walt time stays the same, if so I probably won't be back too often. I love the way you can customize your pizza from scratch or you can customize one of the pizzas they already have on their menu. It was exciting to see how they customize the salads right in front of you also. We ordered the Mad Dog pizza on the menu which was deemed the meat lovers pizza which included sausage, pepperoni and hamburger crumbles. I did like the box the pizza came in add it had a top and a buttom instead of the traditional hinged pizza box. This allowed my boyfriend and I to each have a "plate" to put out pizza on while driving. I thought MOD didn't skimp on the toppings and it had the perfect amount. There was also garlic powder on the tables which as a NYer is a must for any and all pizza. I enjoyed the flakey crunchy thin crust.... that I saw them make in front of my eyes. I stopped this restaurant since it just opened near my house. The pizza was really good and I would definitely order it a again. I would have given more stars but I think the price of the salad is a little pricey for the portion size. I doubt I would order again I can get a bigger and more filling salad somewhere else for $2 more. read more

I love MOD pizza however we went to this new location and the food was good but everything else was awful. The dining area was dirty and about 40 degrees and let's not mention the flies. I was totally disappointed especially since this is a new location that hasn't been open long. There were a lot of workers there but nobody cleaning the lobby or emptying the trash. One little girl in line behind us went back to their car with her Dad and brought back a blanket. I went to get my coat from the car. We had to go outside to eat because it was so cold. I can't imagine what their electric bill runs. On to the pizza. I ordered the Dillon James. "We are out of basil and garlic," the lady said. How does a Pizza restaurant run out of garlic? (Minced garlic, I guess?) The lady was helpful and offered roasted garlic after I asked, "are you sure you don't have any powdered garlic or something else?" I got the roasted garlic. Later I saw powdered garlic in a shaker by the drink machine and on my table. We waited a long time just to place an order. Three online orders went right before the people ahead of us, so that delayed us even more. I can't imagine if there had been more online orders...it would have taken all night. Once pizza was ordered, it did not take long for it to cook. The pizza was good. It was better after sitting a while and cooling off. Not sure I will stand in line again there. Usually good quick pizza decided to try their mobile app since I was in a hurry and just wanted to run in and pick up. App worked fine an I showed up when it said to about 20mins later. Then proceeded to wait another 20mins till I had to ask where my pizza was after watching multiple people walk in after I got there and get their pizzas first. They finally put my pizza in the oven and 10 minutes later I got it really wish I didn't have to tip ahead of time. read more

We have eaten there several times. We have enjoyed each experience. All the pizzas and salads come out in a timely manner, you pick your toppings which is fun trying to come up with a combination that works on your own. Their balsamic glaze makes everything tastier. read more

I love MOD Pizza but the last 2x we have eaten there, the bottom of our pizza has been burnt. We tried getting the regular and the mega dough thinking maybe the mega dough had to be left in longer and got the same burnt results. I don't mind a few places being a little toasty on bottom but it has been burnt enough for it to mess up the taste and cause even my spouse who will eat anything to complain. We are too sad since we love it so much but not if the "burnt" bottom is becoming a regular part of the pizza. read more

I've been there at least 10 times for lunch and the customer service and quality is quickly deteriorating. The last two times I went there, they burnt my pizza and they do not cover the pizzas that come out the oven. I've seen numerous flies touch my pizza and others while they put new pizzas in the oven. I personally think it is real simple to cover the pizza with parchment paper or to go boxes. The one thing Ilove about this place is the blackberry lemonade. Simply Amazing!!! read more

I do understand this is COVID..but I'm hoping management sees this so they won't lose future customers..I ordered a pizza through DoorDash and 90 percent of the meet toppings were not on the pizza. Not one pepperoni..not one piece of chicken..no bacon..no chicken sausage..no chorizo..only a little bit of regular sausage was on my pizza. This is unacceptable since when the pizza was brought to my door it had my ingredients list taped to my box. During COVID attention to detail is the easiest thing to do..I am completely dissatisfied and won't be ordering from MOD Chain again during this time. I love MOD Pizza, at least I love the Battlefield Blvd one. The Suffolk one, not so much. Not that it can't be as good, but it needs some work. It would be better if the employees seemed to care about the food they prepare. About 1/3 of the crust edge on my pizza was fairly scorched. The girl cutting just shrugged when I pointed that out. The other thing is the acoustics are horrible and are made worse by the volume of the music in the dining area. The music is so loud you have to stand near the pick-up area to hear your name called, and even then it's hard to hear. The ingredients and concept are great. This location needs some fine tuning to match the experience of the Chesapeake location. read more

The customer service is terrible due to the lack of employees to prepare the food, bake the food in the oven, and manage the register. 3-4 employees is not enough to provide quality customer service, prepare food orders, clean the dining area, replace food products, make pizza dough, etc,. I placed an online order, this was simple enough. The website said my order would be read at 7:40 pm. I arrived at the store and checked in at the counter at 7:40. They told me they hadn't even started my order. I ended up telling them which pizzas were mine, sitting there getting cold, at 8:10. I tell them I also had two milkshakes and two noname cakes. I ended up getting my completed order at 8:23. This was my first experience with MOD. There wasn't any organization, workflow, or effective management of the orders. It was up to the customers to complain--this is how they prioritized the orders. Horrible experience! read more
