The four of us shared our meal, and everyone agreed--the ingredients were fresh, flavorful, clearly hand-made and the portions were decent. We stopped in to pick up our takeout right before closing, and I was impressed that the three employees greeted me by name and were incredibly friendly. While we didn't dine in, the restaurant looked great inside--rustic, clean, with a cool vibe. You could see the pizza oven, which added to the charm. They have so many options, and each one looked just as delicious as the last, but after looking over the menu, we decided on making our own Stuffed pizza with mozzarella, meatball, pepperoni, sausage, and ham, as well as a side of cheese sticks. Everything was the bomb! The sauce was flavorful, and they were not skimpy on the cheese and the toppings by any means on both the pizza and the cheese sticks; moreover, I wish I lived closer because Pizza Box would be my go-to place to order pizza. I only have one criticism of this place; I'm a man who likes dipping sauces (garlic, ranch, etc.) When I eat pizza and this place doesn't offer any. Shout out to the Pizza Box!!! Finally made it in since new ownership and it's just as fantastic as it ever was. Love the new decor... and the food, of course! Seriously my favorite pizza ever. David and Beth took excellent care of us and couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating! They recommended the mozzarella bites for a starter and some very good Tiramisu for dessert! I highly recommend both of them! We ordered the Meat Lovers (yum!!!!), my daughter got Roasted Garlic Alfredo for herself and a cheese pizza for her son. All were so very good. We tried this place put last night and it was delicious. The sauce for the pizza was delicious and fresh! We are going to give another try on the cinnamon knots, we did go towards the end of the night so we know they were wanting to get out of there and they may have been forgotten in the oven too long. Nothing like "rounding out Pi day" (3.14) at a new (to me) NY style pizza place. I'd heard the name but am rarely in P-Town; got to know the owner and NY native "Tony" (of course) when he ran "Sandwich Box" in Norfolk. Called in an XL cheese for pickup to really assess taste (sauce, cheese, dough), texture (crust, bake) and temperature. Bo toppings to hide behind, right? Also ordered 2 more XL specialty pizzas; to test their service accuracy, each "pie" had 2 different specialty halves: half pork meats + half broccoli/spinach; onions/tomato on half steak/chimichurri, half lamb/feta. As a chimi fiend, I was STOKED it was an option and couldn't wait to taste it. Order was ready when promised and totaled ~$60 with tip. Side note: would have been nice to know the Thurs special (2 XL 1 toppings for $26) before I ordered. Excellent product with the right dough/sauce/cheese ratio, cooked to a functional texture that offered a fresh doughy, yet secure base with give. Pizza slice DID NOT flop/collapse when picked up and WAS NOT an overly solid plank diving board that painfully stretched your cheeks to chew. The sauce was flavorful, cheese was very good (not the best but not worse), and ingredients were fresh. Specialty pizzas were prepared correctly. Chimi pizza was slightly above average, yet hard to detect chimi taste. I'm not a fan of onions but I'd order it again with a request for extra extra chimi sauce or perhaps subbing it over the red sauce entirely? If ever in p-town again, you can bet I'll be back for more pizza, even if it's not Pi day! read more

Small little joint that brings so much joy and yummiest to your belly. The decor and employees were a delight. The food is outright amazingly/beyond great. It's on my top fav pizza's I have EVER had. I know I've visited this restaurant some years ago, but I so cannot remember how I felt about them back then. Nevertheless, my recent visit about a month ago was excellent. The only reason I'm leaving off one star is because they do not sell the pizza by the slice. My daughter and I main reason for visiting this location was because of its location... close to our house. We ordered a small pizza half cheese half pepperoni and we paid a little bit over $12 I believe. But luckily for us there was no wait in line. One couple that was dining-in and another couple was exiting as we were entering so the wait time wasn't long at all. They do offer delivery but I'm sure there is a zone that applies... inquire if interested. Our order took 15 minutes... made to order...all orders! The owner and the employees inside were super friendly and they even offered us a glass of water each while we waited. Overall the pizza was delicious I definitely recommend you give this place a try. But if you want something other than pizza the menu features many choices. Keep in mind the parking is limited because this restaurant is located in a neighborhood and it only has street parking. Also be careful if visiting during the night time hours the street isn't well lit therefore be aware of your surroundings. Have fun and enjoy life :) read more

We used to eat her under the prior ownership before Covid. So glad we stopped by today. Nice decor and very friendly and attentive service from Brandon and Kay. We enjoyed the fresh Greek Salad and split a pizza. We had the Bianca and Hannah's Supreme. The crust was a perfect thin crust that showcased the toppings. We will definitely be back. Went to Pizza box two weeks ago with my husband for date night. This restaurant is located in a quiet neighborhood and we will be going back. The pizza and calzone was so good. We even ordered a pizza to take home and ate it the next day This restaurant is worth the drive. We live in Great Bridge but we'll be making the drive back at least once a month now. Our first trip we ordered the Sam's Best (light sauce, roasted garlic and cheese). We were very impressed. It was the simple goodness pizza should be. We had to stop ourselves from eating the whole thing. Last night was our second visit and we ordered the Bianca with spinach. AMAZING! Crust was thin and crispy, the white sauce was just right and it had just the right amount of cheese and spinach scattered over the top. Update: Get the Hawaiian Pizza but as a white/Bianca pizza! Oh my, I have dreams about eating this pizza. Pros: Small and cozy, service is quick, pizza is simple and fantastic, prices are very reasonable, wide variety of pies to pick from, very clean, there aren't TVs blaring in every corner, quiet Cons: The only thing we didn't like was that they put the leftover pizza in a Styrofoam takeout box which made the pizza soggy because of condensation. read more
